With four of us we shared just about one of everything and nothing disappointed! Standouts were the fried chicken and the gnocchi. And the chocolate chip banana bread! Cocktails were great as well. Can't wait to go back.

Sunday evening dinner with a large group of 10. The place was a ghost town, which didn’t bother us because we got a prime location and an easy reservation. The food was excellent, though the portions were small. Prices were fair and the overall atmosphere was good. We would definitely return on a more popular night.

This was my second time visiting this place so u know I enjoyed it , but the second time I had a fried chicken and grits thing they had on the menu and it was awesome , the service is always great and the decor of the pretty artsy and I love that . Nice vibe and service is always excellent.

The atmosphere is a little much. The menu is not cohesive. I ordered oysters and it came with the garnish already on it, it wasn’t traditional. I ordered the sliders which was one of the best thinks on the menu. I had the olive oil donuts which was good. My friend had a salad with lamb gyro and the lamb was over cooked. In addition, we went to the restaurant because of the open table menu but, the menu was not updated.

The food was delicious and we sat overlooking an area where kids played and parents were drinking which made it interesting. Our waitress was great at first and then she sort of disappeared.

Wasn’t very easy for us to find. Once there I was surprised how empty it was. We were one of three tables. Our server was kind but not at all attentive. Food was good, portions were smaller than I excepted (which wasn’t a bad thing, just unexpected), and out whole meal with a beverage was quite cheap. We sat an waited for over 15mins with empty glasses and empty plates. (A missed opportunity to get us another drink.) We had to start to stand-up to leave before they asked if we were all set and wanted our bill. If I’m in the area again I might give it another shot for dinner, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go again.

Out with friends from out of town. Did not realize this restaurant has a DJ that starts at 9 pm. Was not a fan of loud dance music while eating and conversing with friends. No one was dancing or in the mood to dance at this place. Food was good, but if they are small palates for sharing, there should be more on a plate than one piece.

Not a popular Bruch spot on Saturday. Essentially empty. Small plates yummy especially chicken and waffles and French toast. Drinks expensive and low octane- too much juice. Server knowledgeable and friendly.

Service was a bit slow at times, but generally good natured servers. Should be taught to make sure all is well with adjoining guests when delivering food. F&B was very good. We'll come back.

Food was good. My date and I got the wings(lemon pepper,chili), tuna and charred avocado, and the wagyu burgers. All very tasty. For desert we got the Crème brûlée. Wasn’t my fav. The waitress was super sweet and she was on point with everything. Highly recommend this place. Good date night. Artwork is a plus

The food and drinks are all to die for and the restaurant itself is very cool. Definitely a go-to now. My friend and I are both pretty price-sensitive but we both agreed the meal was worth every penny. The sliders are truly out of this world. Very impressive to be able to have sliders that are seared well on the outside but perfectly pink on the inside. 10/10

Polite staff, good music (house) at the perfect volume where you can hear it but also hold a conversation (some nights around 10 they switch to a live dj or band), beautiful and unique atmosphere, great food (we always get the beet salad and wagyu sliders), and great drinks (love the smoky old fashioned). Our favorite go to in the Ballston neighborhood!

Noise level is off the charts. We could not hear each other or try to even have a dinner conversation without screaming across the table or say : “What??” a thousand times to where it became unbearable. Granted, they did have a live band that started midway through our dinner. It made it very difficult to have an enjoyable conversation with our dinner guests. However, it was a fun vibe and the space is very cool and the food is good and the service was pretty good too. Nice staff. Would come back but wouldn’t come with a dinner party again. I would come to drink and dance only, not socialize.

It’s a very unique seen as it’s also a art gallery / studio. Fair warning did not realize this until we were there. Having the late happy hour was definitely a plus! Got the salad with shrimp, salad was decent enough but the shrimp had a texture that wasn’t the best. And being the exact cost of the salad, it wasn’t worth it.

Date night is a must even with busy nonstop schedules ran now by our two young guys. Pedicures and dinner were the perfect combination for tired parents who wanted to relax and catch up. Whino is a vibe, an art gallery and restaurant all in one with a late happy hour until 8pm. They encourage you to walk around and enjoy the art while waiting for your meal. You can even make it a game and see how many rappers and hip hop artist you recognize in the artwork. I was proud of myself for knowing just about everyone. Our server was friendly, attentive and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy customers. Although I'm usually not a fan of small plates the portion sizes were just enough and very tasty. It's restaurant week this week so be sure to stop by to try a variety of menu options, or to enjoy the late happy hour and art gallery.
