   I love the salmon and vegetables at this restaurant. I go back over and over. However, since the restaurant moved to a new location in Chelsea, the food has been consistently barely warm, certainly not hot. This is true even of the tea that is served. Some seat locations are very cold from the 2nd door that opens on the side and blows cold air into the restaurant.

   Had the market plate and it was good, except couldn't eat the kale because someone must have poured the salt on while they were distracted with something else. Count not eat it.

   Westville Chelsea is an excellent choice for a casual meal... good food, good service and everyone was extremely pleasant. I will be back. Go for it! Also excellent choice if you happen to be going to the Joyce Theater which is just a few blocks away.

   The food is wonderful. Great variety. Service is quick. The staff is so pleasant and attentive. I made a reservation both times I ate there and would recommend doing that especially on the weekend. Trust me you’ll be glad you did.

   Visited Westville - Chelsea to have lunch with co-workers. It was a great choice. The service was very good, and the food options were sufficient. My only critique is that the fires should have been hotter. I will definitely return.

   I had been wanting to try Westville as it recently opened in the Chelsea neighborhood. I felt the ambiance was disappointing -- way too bright of lights. Food was alright; affordable.

    Such a welcoming place. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our meals were delicious. The avocado toast was very tasty ,as well as the waffles were perfect. Would definitely go back to this restaurant .😊

    Always like Westville. It was raining so we couldn't eat outside, but the seated us separately, which was helpful. Food, drinks, ambiance is great. One issue: our Open Table reservation was for 4:45. When we arrived they said they weren't open until 5. Huh??

    Great fresh food! Vegetable selections diverse and flavorful. Large salads were very tasty. Portions were more than filling. We will go back.

    From the start we were treated with kind helpfulness. It was a Friday so it was loud in the bar area but they helped us find a table outside that was a little more quiet and my family and I enjoyed our time... The food was quite good too... We've been waiting for a nice restaurant to return to this location ever since Raymond's retired years ago and we're glad to be able to be here during a special family event.

    I have eaten at Westville three times and it’s a bit hit or miss. The food and prices are good, but the service is generally lacking. One time I ordered veggie chili and it was served turkey chili even though I’m a vegetarian. I am very short so I specifically booked a standard table for my group of four yet they sat us at a high top. When I informed them that wasn’t my reservation and high tops are very uncomfortable for short people they got flustered and it took half an hour to get a low table. Our server then ignored us for another half hour. Our reservation was for six but our order wasn’t taken until 7. People seated after us had their food before our order was even taken.

    Surprised by the new location having moved in Chelsea. Old location was fully shaded and outdoor enclosed. New location has inadequate extended sun shade and right on busy 7th Ave.

    Not sure if Westville was short-staffed, however, getting a server to take our order took forever only to find out they are using the brunch menu (on Monday). This resulted in having to wait nearly 15-minutes to finally place our order. That being said, the food was absolutely delicious. Will be back to give it another try.

    Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at Westville. Sat outside which brings with it the noise from the 7th Ave subway but still ok and nice to be outside. Nice brunch choices. Food came fast and was tasty and well presented. Coffee was ok. Inside looked nice and was full. Clean restaurant and facilities. Would definitely go back for other casual meals with friends

    Westville food is always great - but service was awesome. I'd made a note in my reservation that my brunch was with a friend who is supporting me through a rough time, and they sent over a bottle of prosecco as a celebration of good friendship! Very kind of them!

    We tried this place on a whim and it was great! The servers were really friendly and attentive. They were also very helpful with questions on the menu. Our drinks were tasty and the marketplace veggies were especially tasty—we had them as an appetizer and they were a very nice touch! We will definitely go again!

    Really like this new Westville. Very clean, lovely outdoor sidewalk seating (prefer to in-street) and large clean bathrooms. Table was wobbly and made enjoying dinner very challenging. Our waiter acknowledged the struggle but was unable to get a manager to fix it during our meal. Hope it's a one-time only situation or why bother.

    Admittedly….the food was pretty weak. The salmon was dried out and overcooked. The food didn’t feel likely it was freshly prepared, rather precooked and had sat somewhere for a while. Staff was nice and attentive. We still tipped 20%. I was going to take my folks to your location as we all lived at “250 Westville st” growing up. But based on the food, I’m not so sure. Very good staff and we stayed kind of late. They were nice about it.

    great food and service - congrats on the new location! could definitely use some sound proofing—noise just bounces all around the space. also, maybe some sort of felt or rubber on the bottom of the chairs? the noise of people getting up from their seats combined with general chatter made the indoor dining experience unpleasant.
