   Wedtville as a concept I truly like. Unfortunately, in delivery things don’t always stack up to expectations. The food is, okay. For the price point, things could and should be much better. The truffle fries were not good at all. Suggestion? Get rid of that horrible truffle oil and use truffle SALT instead. Much more natural truffle flavor and No chemically taste at all. And, cooking your vegetables in batches as opposed to at the start of service will make them much more palatable. For take out, I’d say the food would be acceptable, but as a sit down dining experience the food is underwhelming. Service was pedestrian and unfulfilling. We were asked for our order within 3 minutes of sitting down and then needed to flag our waitress 10 minutes later to place an order. Our table was cleared, we weren’t asked whether we wanted dessert and the bill was dropped on the table at 9:00 when the restaurant closed at 9:30. The space was not even crowded. Not very hospitable. Ask if we’d care for dessert and IF you can drop the check, OR, drop the check and say, no rush, settle at your convenience. Don’t come around TWICE to see if we’ve placed a credit card in the bill fold. Otherwise it’s a clear indication to get out. Again, not the way to treat “guests”.

    Our party of six had a wonderful time. The food was excellent (and a lot of it). The wait staff was lovely. They had our reserved outdoor table ready when we arrived. We were seated immediately even though one of our party came 20 minutes late. Nobody rushed us. Little things like that (not being rushed; being treated courteously) plus terrific food -- made it a perfect Friday evening.

    This was our first time at this Westville location, but all of them have been nice, and this one was, too. I was taken by a friend for my birthday, and we enjoyed the pleasant service and fresh, delicious food. He got the chicken off the regular menu, and I chose mahi mahi as a special--both were good-sized portions, and the price is moderate. We chose to sit inside rather than outside, but the whole front wall of the restaurant was open, so we got the best of both worlds (as well as a bit of the noise).

    As I am an avid reviewer I try new restaurants often. Found this place on opentable and decided to try it after looking at the menu. We were seated quickly but it was busy so it took a minute to get service. Once we did she was helpful. The margaritas were really tart but good. The food was very flavorful and good as well

    Waitstaff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We went early to avoid the crowd and enjoyed the quiet inside (more were dining outside). Food was plentiful and delicious. My hubby had the Buttermilk Chicken sandwich and I had the Salmon Teriyaki with Brussels sprouts and plantains. Everything was first rate. We only had a beer and a glass of wine as we were not crazy about the idea of a margarita with Sake. That did not matter. It was all about the food! Always a very reliable place for good food and good service. A neighborhood gem.

    Was able to get a Friday evening reservation for outside seating just like that . We shared the perfect meal : market table vegetables and the turkey burger with cheese on a toasted English muffin. And wine and beer of course ! Can’t wait to go back again soon!

    Always satisfying and pleasant to eat here. A great neighborhood go-to, especially like the outdoor seating. Food is well prepared and of good quality, although sometimes proteins seem a bit bland. That's what lemon and salt are for. Mixed drinks are very good. Service is pleasant and amiable.

    I have been a long time Westville fan but if this had been my first visit, I would have never returned. The salad greens were wilted, the chicken dry and it was one of the worst meals I have had in NYC. I'm very sad given my longtime advocacy for Westville.
