Clark was our server and he was incredible. He was able to answer all of our questions with great depth. He was just a joy to be around. The food was very tasty. We had the Bistro Filet and Cheeseburger. Both cooked to perfection. Made our experience worth it.

We were seated in the Cedar Room which was small and nice and quiet. The warm cornbread is always delicious and is a good beginning. My quinoa and farro salad with yogurt is healthy and surprisingly tasty, and my friend's cheeseburger and fries were wonderful. We will eat here again as soon as we return to the theatre again, which is next week.

I ordered the turkey burger without cheese.

Tim, our waiter delivered it to me with cheese.

When I mentioned this to him, he told me that it was the chef's fault and not his and I could order a desert, free of charge. I looked at the desert menu and there was nothing to my liking.

He didn't offer me another burger without cheese, which I would have [preferred. Especially after spending most of of my afternoon having an upset stomach from the meat and cheese combo.

Always consistently good. I like almost everything I have ordered (the flatbreads aren't great. Dough tastes like crackers. Otherwise everything is delicious.

Mediocre. Also, shouldn’t pressure people to write more!

I didn’t think the hostess was very friendly when we arrived. Server was nice and friendly however, he neglected to come to the table for 20 mins after we ate and then he brought the check. Never asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee which we ordered both . Wasn’t impressed and it was a client lunch.

I've been there many times, often taking guests there. I usually have the French dip sandwich,
in honor of my late father, who loved the one at Philippe's downtown. Tomato soup is good too.
I've liked Mary's chicken.

I love the food. My only complaint is that it is always sooo cold in the restaurant.

My wife and I were in LA for an evening on the way to vacation in Hawaii. We invited my neice and her fiancé to join us at my daughter’s favorite restaurant — Westside Tavern. The restaurant did not disappoint. The Chef, who remembered my
daughter from previous visits, greeted us and recommended wonderful choices. After a great meal, he helped select a couple excellent desserts, includiing the beignets pictured, for the table to share. Friendly atmosphere with inventive, tasty dishes! We also enjoyed some great cocktails and wine. We will be back!

Great cocktails, wonderful atmosphere, perfect dependable food.....our go to place in LA. Downstairs of the Landmark movie theatres so no need to go anywhere else for a meal before or after a movie.

A great American tavern. Best non-serious food in town at value-based prices. Love it
