Need to book at 8:15 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Delicious Scottish Salmon, currently $30.00.
Great huge booth for 7!
Joshua was great! Food was yummy.
Always good food, varied menu, good service. Only questions are noise level and cold temp in the room.
The food and drinks were great and the service (both at the bar and at our table) was amazing. I would definitely recommend it. They’re doing it right!
Great neighborhood tavern. A good choice before or after a movie.
We were disappointed. I had been there a month ago and had a salad I really liked, and was looking forward to ordering again, but they no longer had it on the menu, and although they clearly had the ingredients to make it, the waiter did not offer to do that. It was very chilly in the restaurant and when I said so, the waiter said that it is always cold. Actually, I think there are other places in the restaurant where it is not so drafty. Our main courses were okay. I ordered glass of pinot noir, which came in a tumbler which had been chilled. Red wine is usually not served cold, and it took awhile to get to room temperature. For dessert, we ordered hot chocolate, because we both still felt so cold. When it came, the mugs were cold, and so was the hot chocolate!! We sent it back, and of course when it came back, it was steaming hot. I won't go there again.
Excellent steak fajitas and salmon entrees. Great for after movie.
We absolutely LOVED the music that was playing on Monday night. The playlist brought us back to the early nineties.
The food was nice but the service was bad. The waitress was so busy, it took ages for her to get to take our order and get us drinks. She was nice though and tried her best but the food servers were terrible. They practically threw the food on the table and never got it to the right person. They were not very gracious. We gave 20% tip but we debated about it for a while as it was such a bad experience.
Always great food. Great servers.
the service was excellent and we got our food very quickly. we had salads that were delicious.
For convenience, Westside Tavern is our go to spot before a movie at the Landmark. With a reservation on a Wednesday night, we got a booth, which we love. The service was attentive but not overbearing and it was nice to be able to hear each other speak. Instead of my normal wine, I tried a craft beer and it's much better value for the money. I also tried the "plant burger" which I thought would be similar to an Impossible or Beyond burger/ It's not. It's an old-fashioned veggie burger and it's dry and disappointing and NOT worth $17. But the veggie soup was outstanding. Overall, we had a lovely evening and are happy to recommend the Tavern. We'll be back before our next movie!
Lovely restaurant, a cut above all the rest, great food and drink and service.
And If Lucy is your server you cannot go wrong.
We've been going here for years and never had a bad experience.
Waiters and busboys were asked for extra ketchup. I had to wait over 20 minutes to get it and ask 4 times.
Menu is lack-luster and overpriced; I come only for the convenience (downstairs from Landmark theaters) and friendly service
Good place for a business lunch as the parking is easy, free for 3 hours and the menu has variety.
Westside Tavern has a great variety to chose from on their menu. I had the salmon burger and it was delicious..:plus so big I could only eat half. Our server Lucy was great...knowledgeable about the menu options and friendly. She was there when we had a question or needed something.
Perfect place to go after the movies. Always good always consistent. Great hamburger and flat breads
The ambiance was lively. The staff was accommodating especially when we were seated next to people we knew but didn't want to overhear our conversation. We were moved to a booth close by!
We ordered the southern fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes, mushroom flatbread, and cranberry apple cobbler. We thought that the breading on the fried chicken
was much too crispy and difficult to eat. The best part of the meal was the dessert. The flatbread is always good.
great burger as usual!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Convenient location if you are going to the Landmark movie theaters. Food is good and the beer & wine selection is very good.
Food, service, laid-back ambiance and free parking was excellent, as always. Our “go-to” place.
Very nice server Hannah
The salmon was very good and they have a great toffee dessert with marzipan cream. It is incredible!
Westside Tavern has us a bit trapped. It's downstairs from the Landmark Pico movie theatre, which makes it very convenient to eat at. There aren't a lot of good restaurants choices in the area - there are restaurants but not good ones. I do appreciate one can make a reservation at the Tavern now so we aren't all waiting after a movie for 30-60 minutes for a table. However, the prices are high for what it is - I had a salmon salad for $30 - and that was listed under what seemed like smaller plates and prices were lower. I would have liked to have a 'hot' meal at night but they refused to change the potato/rice/pasta for a veggie or salad - even if you want to pay a bit more for it. Our waiter said they could take off both the veggie and potato but not one. He may have been wrong. My feeling was he just wanted us to order a lot of food so he could get a better tip. My friend ordered something with truffle oil and there was no truffle oil. When she asked about a bit more he said there was truffle oil on, then no he couldn't get more, then well they will charge you, and in the end she wasn't charged. One shouldn't have to fight with your server.
We’ve come here a few times over the years and it’s always been good. This time there were 7 of us, and we fit comfortably in a corner booth. Our server was affable and gregarious and we had a delicious meal. I had the cod with black rice and it was cooked to perfection.
All went well
Philip was a great server. Enjoyed the appetizers and cocktails and entrees and desserts very much. Appreciated the convenience of a meal before the movie.
Our intentions to have lunch before attending a film @ The Landmark were met w/some
very pricey menu options.
We couldn't believe that a salad w/grilled salmon was $30 and by the time we had iced tea we
ended up w/a bill (with tip) for $90.
Miss Nordstrom's cafe more & more.
The tomato soup and cornbread are very comforting.
I eat at this restaurant often- good food, lots of variety, cozy ambience, and dedicated waitstaff. There is a standard menu and a daily menu so there is lots of choice.
Food and service were good. Restaurant was dirty - floors, booth, bathroom. Don't see how it got an "A." Particularly the booth - it was covered in crumbs with food stuck in the crevice of the bench and food and crumbs all over the floor. Unacceptable.
Great for after the movies at the Landmark......My wife and I had a Caesar Salad (gem lettuce....prefer romaine...think the Caesar Dressing could be improved), a piece of cornbread and a flat bread with mushrooms.....all were very good.....Service was excellent.
Always love eating at Westside Tavern. The food is consistently good and the service ranges from good to excellent, food delivered hot and timely. We are especially thrilled that the restaurant started taking reservations a year ago, so it's much easier to book a movie and dinner together.
Westside is my friends go to restaurant. The food is consistently good and can’t beat the value.
We were a party of nine. Our service was great. The table perfect for all to communicate. The food delicious. We have been going to the Westside Tavern since it opened and it is consistently excellent
Really good Food & Dining Experience!
Fried Chicken! Steak Fajitas & Broccoli Yum!
Love the Staff!!
This is a good restaurant to go to for a group who have different favorites and for a casual meal out. The four of us ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees and we all throughly enjoyed them all. The macaroni balls were crispy and cheesy and the hummus with the sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese and olives was way better than the run-of-the-mill hummus. The pita that came with it was warm and fresh and could've been eaten on its own it was so good. The Cobb salad is always substantive and good here. Also had a beef pasta dish and the fried chicken. All great.
We showed up for our reservation a little early and were seated within 5 minutes. The server was gracious and attentive and the food was served promptly and it was delicious.
