Very nice server Hannah
We’ve come here a few times over the years and it’s always been good. This time there were 7 of us, and we fit comfortably in a corner booth. Our server was affable and gregarious and we had a delicious meal. I had the cod with black rice and it was cooked to perfection.
All went well
Philip was a great server. Enjoyed the appetizers and cocktails and entrees and desserts very much. Appreciated the convenience of a meal before the movie.
Our intentions to have lunch before attending a film @ The Landmark were met w/some
very pricey menu options.
We couldn't believe that a salad w/grilled salmon was $30 and by the time we had iced tea we
ended up w/a bill (with tip) for $90.
Miss Nordstrom's cafe more & more.
The tomato soup and cornbread are very comforting.
I eat at this restaurant often- good food, lots of variety, cozy ambience, and dedicated waitstaff. There is a standard menu and a daily menu so there is lots of choice.
Food and service were good. Restaurant was dirty - floors, booth, bathroom. Don't see how it got an "A." Particularly the booth - it was covered in crumbs with food stuck in the crevice of the bench and food and crumbs all over the floor. Unacceptable.
Great for after the movies at the Landmark......My wife and I had a Caesar Salad (gem lettuce....prefer romaine...think the Caesar Dressing could be improved), a piece of cornbread and a flat bread with mushrooms.....all were very good.....Service was excellent.
Always love eating at Westside Tavern. The food is consistently good and the service ranges from good to excellent, food delivered hot and timely. We are especially thrilled that the restaurant started taking reservations a year ago, so it's much easier to book a movie and dinner together.
Westside is my friends go to restaurant. The food is consistently good and can’t beat the value.
We were a party of nine. Our service was great. The table perfect for all to communicate. The food delicious. We have been going to the Westside Tavern since it opened and it is consistently excellent
Really good Food & Dining Experience!
Fried Chicken! Steak Fajitas & Broccoli Yum!
Love the Staff!!
This is a good restaurant to go to for a group who have different favorites and for a casual meal out. The four of us ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees and we all throughly enjoyed them all. The macaroni balls were crispy and cheesy and the hummus with the sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese and olives was way better than the run-of-the-mill hummus. The pita that came with it was warm and fresh and could've been eaten on its own it was so good. The Cobb salad is always substantive and good here. Also had a beef pasta dish and the fried chicken. All great.
We showed up for our reservation a little early and were seated within 5 minutes. The server was gracious and attentive and the food was served promptly and it was delicious.
Best waiter ever. Great presentation of the extra dishes not on the menu! I had black eyed pea soup that was perfect for New Year’s Eve. It was fabulous. Then I had the salmon and hubby had the miso cod. Both were perfection and we ate every bite!
Ordered glass of red wine waiter never brought it, had to ask another server to bring it. This was New Years Eve.
Got a reservation on New Years Eve and was pleasantly surprised. Started with cocktails and brussel sprouts which were excellent. The Black Cod and Fajitas specials were both delicious. Location was easy to find and reduced rate parking with validation. Waitress seemed distracted but not a significant issue.
We were seated right on time and received a requested booth. Still the best high dollar cheeseburger in town. Don't change it!
They were late in honoring my reservation but otherwise, the food and service was good.
Good, straightforward, casual American dining. Great flat breads, salads. Cod was particularly awesome. I would come here any day.
The atmosphere is inviting and the food is delicious.
I eat at this restaurant often. The service is good and the waitstaff helpful. The food is good and there are always specials on the board along with the regular menu so there is a lot of variety. The ambience is cozy and comfortable.
Just a. Casual late afternoon lunch when we happened to be on that side of town.
Never a bad experience. Always on point. Food was delish as are the cocktails. My friend said her wine was delicious. We shared a mushroom flatbread-SOOOO GOOD. Fried chicken and mashed potatoes and green beans. YUMMY. and a wedge salad with sirloin. I'm drooling. The waiter was professional. The only drawback to the evening was it was cold in the restaurant. Most people wore jackets. We asked if they could turn down the air, but the front desk said no. They can't adjust the temp. So, if you go on a winter night, dress warm...
I would recommend with reserve....the prices have gone up, I believe, because it's about supply and demand...they know they are the only 'game' in town for those going to Westside for the movies. Yes, the food is generally very good, but they have raised their prices and the most ridiculous part...my husband had the special (steak fajita tacos)...they came with small corn tortillas. He ordered more, as there were not enough. He was given 4 more and charged $4.00. Ridiculous. In every Mexican restaurant we have gone to, extra tortillas are given freely. Yes, it's not a Mexican restaurant, but charge more for the dish and include more tortillas. It's nickeling and diming that is not acceptable.
Our reservation was at 7:15 and we got seated about 7:45pm. The service was terrible. Our waitress had too many other tables and she received no help from the management. Food was delicious but I was disappointed.
Delicious food. Prompt & pleasant service!
Came here for Christmas Eve as we were going to watch star wars. Very busy for the holidays and we couldn’t understand why people were so rude to the staff who were working on a holiday! Our server Luis was amazing and we even had a chance to talk to the manager Christopher who was very knowledgeable.
Not a bad experience. Food was pretty good as was the service. Very noisy when we got there but quieted down as the evening progressed. Would go again especially after seeing a movie.
It was Xmas Eve.... there were 8 of us.... our table was ready for us within 4 minutes.... the restaurant was full but it didn’t matter... upon seating a man appeared to take our drink orders.... about 5 minutes later they appeared‼️ Our happy waitress came and took our order making sure we were ready to order...not wanting to hurry us.... remember there were “8” of us.... within 15 minutes our DELICIOUS dinner was served.... the desserts... beignets and the chocolate toffee sticky pudding... were AMAZING....the service was PERFECT... we ALL loved agreed it was the BEST Xmas Eve dinner‼️🎄
We love this restaurant and frequent it too, however the service, while adequate I have noticed that every time we eat here there is zero table maintenance. In fact each and every time we dine here, they NEVER clear plates and we are left having conversations with dirty plate in front of us.
Food is always on point, however.
Consistently good food and service. Great cheeseburgers and crab cakes. Best to go early before your movie. Noisy and crowded as the evening progresses!
After reading the several reviews raving about the food: Black cod with miso sauce, cheese burger and the very popular, buttermilk fried chicken, our family was really looking forward to trying the Westside Tavern! I have had Black Cod at several restaurants and was excited to try Westside Tavern's. I was extremely disappointed by the heavy handed and overly sweet miso sauce (pales next to the delicious, buttery cod with delicate miso sauce at Katsuya). My husband had the buttermilk fried chicken (our waiter said it's the most popular item on the menu!). Another huge disappointment...heavily breaded and flavorless. Our daughter had the cheeseburger. Another less than stellar experience! We ordered all the items that were recommended by reviewers as well as our server, but unfortunately they were all very mediocre. Service was excellent and the ambiance was good. I would not go to Westside Tavern again!
Known for their diverse hamburger combinations they also have a variety of very good entrees. A lot of Westside regulars rave about their sticky toffee cake. Be forewarned, the serving size is big enough for four people. At least ours was.
This restaurant is located in a mall near countless movie theaters.
It seems to be filled with customers who frequent the theaters.
We were seated immediately and our server approached quickly.
We placed our beverage orders and they arrived in a timely manner.
We ordered our meal and there was not a long wait for that either.
The food was delicious and good sized portions were served.
It was a comfortable meal.
Always a solid choice. Consistently good food.
Seems like they are trying to be like Hillstones but they aren’t even close. Won’t go back.
a great place after the movies at the Landmark. We love this place.
We frequent this establishment as do many others who also visit the Landmark Theatre. They take reservations now, but for anyone who hasn't been been there before, you should know that on a busy evening, even with a reservation, you may wait 10 or 15 minutes for your table. The food is good, and is the main reason we continue to go there, in addition to the convenience to the theatre. The only other caution I would put out there is the tab can be a bit high. All that said, we would recommend the Westside Tavern, and will continue to dine there.
