Enjoyed the salmon burger and pumpkin soup. Nice meal and environment to catch up with a friend. Nice to have this restaurant adjacent to the theatres with convenient parking.
Always great food, great service in a great atmosphere! Plenty of past king makes this ideal spot!
The miso cod was really the best cod I have tasted in a long time. This cod melted in your mouth and the skin was crisp and tasty with the miso. The cod came with Black rice that was also a great ride along with the cod.
I, of course, had the Kentucky Ice Tea - bourbon and whatever else in it to make it my favorite drink at the Tavern.
the food and service are always reliable. great place to dine before going to the movies.
Food, service, ambiance all great, however seating with reservations is a mess. It’s always like that. The time you bake the res for means nothing. If they are always “slammed” at certain times—as they don’t hesitate to tell you— they should limit the reservations they make at those times. We wound up grabbing a high top at the bar even though my friend has a bad back and the stools do not have backs.
Ordered the special pasta with meat sauce and to me it was a small portion based on the price. Also should publish the daily specials with prices.
Always an excellent meal with superbly cheerful service and a noise level that allows even those with hearing aids to have a conversation. I bring friends from every generation to the Westside Tavern and am never disappointed.
Great food and service!
Had the Scotch salmon and it was great. Very nice waitress. No complaints other than pretty noisy.
Great food and service, comfortable and relaxing. Love this restaurant.
Very busy and servers were a bit overwhelmed but as attentive as they could be. Food is “ok” nothing to rave about but nothing to complain about
Took my grandson for lunch and it cost me 76.00!! We did not order anything outrageously expensive either!! Next time we will go to Apple Pan!!
Great choice among the appetizers. Entrees terrific. Plenty of food. Deserts delightful.
Convenient location from the Landmark theaters. Food is mediocre. The main room is bustling and noisy, but there’s a room in back that is smaller and quieter.
We enjoyed our dinner here on date night before a movie. Conveniently located and the food was delicious. Friendly service.
Very cool place to take anyone.
We for a co-workers Birthday.
Lovely place and good food 👍🏽💕
Enjoyed a very nice, large, tasty Salmon salad and corn bread...........the Miso Cod was also enjoyed -- all in all a lovely lunch & good prelude for the movie upstairs............
We were in for a quick bite before a movie. Shared an appetizer and each had a drink and grilled cheese.
Pretty pricey for a short and not so memorable dinner but we sat at the bar and the bartender was on top of everything! Great service, menu suggestion for something quick and quick with the bill too! Better experience when we have an hour to enjoy a sit down dinner! But they do make a nice grilled cheese!
The waitress was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. The turkey burger was bland with an inappropriate whole wheat bun. The tomato soup was acetic. I've had better food here, so stay away from these two items.
Veggie burger was awful tasted like they made it the day before, fries good.
The ambiance was really nice. My husband enjoyed the short rib. Also, you never know who you will see (we saw Tommy Chong - Cheech and Chong- COOL!).
Been going there for 10 years. The food is always good despite the limited menu... but the service has gone down hill. We had a very odd waiter
Came here with some friends after watching the Irishman, and it was packed! We asked to speak to someone about wines and that’s where Christopher came by and made some great recommendations. I really appreciate his honesty, as we weren’t looking to spend top dollar. He wasn’t pushy as many wine stewards are, he worked well within our budget. Will be back.
Used to go here when I was going to a movie at Landmark. Now I go regardless of the movies. Outstanding food, they now take reservations. and parking is so easy.
We like this place as a pre-movie option. Our server last night wasn’t one of your best. And seriously....if you’re offering a “side salad” as an option to fries with a sandwich, it really ought to be something more than a “bowl of lettuce,” which is what I got last night.
Everything is wonderful about this restaurant. The service is particularly stellar.
Our waiter was very nice and our meal DELICIOUS‼️
Great place for a drink before a movie. Inventive cocktails.
We were seated in a smaller side room where the noise level was moderates unlike the main portion of the restaurant where Noyes can be problematic.
Menu was too limited and too much emphasis on failed effort to being creative.
ALWAYS wonderful food. The staff is outstanding...especially Aaron. It's my "go to" restaurant!
I ordered the plant burger which was, at best satisfactory. I would not recommend it to anyone as it was fairly tasteless and uninteresting. The tomato soup was good.
I have been to West side Tavern many times and the food is consistently excellent. I ordered the salmon special, which came with a variety of vegetables but waitress offered to sub other things. I chose a salad and
basically received a plate of greens with a piece of grilled salmon for $30. When I inquired if there wasn't a sauce of dressing, she said not if I ordered a substitute. It was pretty basic and boring.
The lights are out on the window side. I could hardly see my food or the check. Please fix the overhead lights. Thank u
Solid place. Very nice servers.
Very nice meal - had pumpkin sage flatbread & wife had buttermilk fried chicken. Good service - personal & efficient.
This was my first time visit to Westside Tavern - I must say that it was great. I was running late for the showtime of The Irishman and didn’t have time to grab lunch. Low and behold I found this restaurant at the bottom of the theaters and decided to check it out after the movie. During my dinner I met the manager Christopher and we discussed current events, sports, and food. Quite a knowledgeable young man; I will be back for the food and conversation.
Great for after the movies at the Landmark. They now take reservations on Open Table.....wonderful. Their corn bread, flat bread with mushrooms, Caesar salad (they use Ge, lettuce not Romaine and the dressing is not great as a Caesar).......but it is enjoyable, grilled cheese sandwich, are all good choices. Service is spotty.......you have to flag someone down to get the pepper mill or red pepper flakes for the flat bread.....however all of the staff are accommodating.....they have so many people serving you that there seems to be a lack of direction.....bus boy, server, waiter. I like one person who is responsible for the full service experience.
Never disappoints. Good food, many choices, convenient to movies
