I really love this place. Situation is lovely amongst the vines. Lovely modern building with tons of natural light. Nice set up with comfortable tables scattered around so it’s cozy inside. Outdoor terrace is perfect on a sunny day. Food is really good. Nice mix of traditional British but with plenty of inspired touches. Wines are fantastic. Great selection including the wines grown in the vineyards outside and they are very good. The rose is exceptional and not just for a British wine. Very good. As is the white and the sparkling. Service is wonderful and the owner is a lovely lady. A regular spot for me when I’m in Coggeshall which I couldn’t recommend more highly. Love it.
