So fortunate to have been able to dine here again before they close the restaurant. Such a gem and hate to see them leave. We truly hope they find another location as their food and service have always been amazing!!!!

Loved the ambience. Service was great and attentive. Unfortunately the food was just so, SO disappointing, especially for the price. Smelly, watery pork broth. Soggy Merkts cheddar burger with soggy patties that may as well have been unseasoned. Undercooked edamame. The only good thing was the fries. Will not be returning.

My husband and I had a great first experience at West Side Ramen. Doug was our server and he was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable about the menu and recommended delicious appetizers and ramen choices. I had the Chicken Katsu ramen and it knocked my socks off. So flavorful and huge portion sizes I had plenty left over for lunch the next day. We can’t wait to come back for the food, drinks, friendly staff and cool atmosphere.

Our server was wonderful. We had a lovely experience & will be dining there again in the near future. Highly recommend. FYI the entrance is in the back. You enter from the parking lot not the sidewalk.

Fried avocado bao appetizer was amazingly light with a nice crunchy piece of fried avocado with the right amount of sauce. The mushroom miso ramen was a very generous portion of ramen noodles, bok choy and mushrooms in a well-balanced broth that wasn’t overly salty like many other restaurants. Our entire party enjoyed their selections and the meal was very affordable with enough leftovers to take home.

While it is rather pricey, it is definitely worth every penny! Don't come here thinking you're getting traditional ramen - it is definitely leveled up with amazing flavors that can catch you unexpectedly, in a very, very good way! I suggest starting with the Pork Belly Ramen so you can understand what you're getting - that is my favorite and my go to each time I visit. It is so full of flavor and rich that more traditional ramen houses will pale in comparison. Once you've experience the Pork Belly Ramen, expand out to some of the others, which are just as good! I would suggest getting the chili paste on the side as just a little will up the heat level nicely. I made the mistake on my first visit of using it all - still had great flavor, but it was too much on the heat scale for me, and I love heat! In this case, a little definitely goes a long way. On my several visits, I've tried a few of the appetizers, and in my opinion, the Umami Fries stand out above the rest, which is quite a compliment since I haven't had anything less than a great appetizer at WSR. Drinks are well crafted and delicious!
