One of my favourite places to eat....see you again in a couple of weeks
Fantastic dining experience!
Lamb shank and bistro burger both flavourful with lovely presentation. Very cozy intimate Ambience for couples Date night.
Was a great venue for a nice family gathering with great food and service!
Good value for the money. The restaurant is small, but very cozy. Service wa excellent and the food quality very good. Would go back.
Wonderful as always!
Food was really good and our server was excellent thank you very much
We went to West Plains Bistro on New Years Eve. The only tables available were at 4:30 pm. We were really pleasantly surprised. First, we were not hurried through our sitting. Second, the Early Bird Special was available. We had a delicious meal, with excellent food, great service, and inviting ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
The service and food were lovely. Slightly disappointed that they ran out of mussels on mussel Monday. Kind of my reason for going. Just means I have to go back.
The high top seating was very comfortable. We were not sure as we had only previously been seated in the dining room in a booth. Stephanie was a great server; attentive and pleasant without over the top pandering. The food was hot, tasty and well presented. Our table of six(6) were all impressed. The timing of the courses was also very good. We did not feel rushed at all. We will certainly be back.
Food was great. We didn't order any of the specials or popular dishes but went with the pickerel and lamb shank instead. Both were excellent. Don't sit next to the back door in the winter though, it's freezing!
We had the daily pasta special , which was absolutely incredible!
This restaurant is one of our favourites. The quality of the food is consistently high and the service is exceptional........Thanks Laura. it is a cosy environment where you can eat and have a conversation without having to yell at your guests. The home made chicken liver pate appetizer is to die for. The daily specials are always worth a try and somehow never seem to repeat. All in all a great local treat.
Our to go place.Have recommended West Plains Bistro to many friends. Very friendly staff
And excellent service.
Raised table seating by fireplace was a bit to warm and the light above the table to bright..which was corrected by shutting it off. Staff nicely added more candles!
Great place to eat but make sure to make a reservation. Very Busy
Always good! Great service as usual!
First time our group has been to the restaurant and thought the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back again. Well worth the price!
Amazing! Best place in Burlington!❤️❤️❤️
Excellent food and service. Will definitely be back.
This restaurant never disappoints us... the service the food... excellent value
This place is quaint intimate and just a lovely place to be :)
Always a pleasure!
I've been to this restaurant many times and have had good experiences. This recent visit was disappointing, specifically the service as it was woefully under staffed resulting in long service wait times. It seemed the waiter was trying his best despite having to wait on several tables. We decided to forego dessert because of the wait time.
Excellent quality food and great service. A nice place for a Christmas lunch with friends. Thanks!
West Plains Bistro is a hidden gem in Burlington.
We enjoyed a delicious meal with friends this past weekend. The food was delicious, perfect portions, and a really good variety of items on the menu.
Our waitress was just wonderful and so much fun.
We’ll definitely be back soon.
First time sitting on “the stage”.
Surprisingly cozy and the service was excellent!
Lovely as usual! Our favourite spot for a meal out! Amazing food. We look forward to seeing what the daily soup is... and have never been disappointed. The pasta is always divine and mine had lobster!
They are very attentive. Our thanks to those who make it a very special. We will be back!
Good food but noisy
We both had the special pasta of the day. Delicious....
As always food & service was fabulous. Our favorite place to eat!
The food and service was very good. They did not rush us to eat and run. Definitely will be back.
I had the pickerel dinner but unfortunately the potatoes were cold. I was very surprised as the fish and veggies were nicely arranged on top of them. Everything but the potatoes were hot.
The upper platform seating was not suitable for 84 yr. old friend
Amazing as always! A trusted spot to dine as I am GF and they are so accommodating. Tried the wild rice bowl. It was delicious but maybe just a bit salty.
Will keep inviting friends to go with me to WPB!
Reliably consistent, excellent service, always full so make sure you have a reservation. The French onion soup is very good, ordered a side salad and a glass of wine: perfect lunch!
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. Food was amazing, service great, atmosphere comfortable! Everything taste as good as it looked will definitely be going back there again. New favorite place :)
Always enjoy our lunches there - food is sooo good.
First visit and will not be last. A lovely surprise.
What a rare find in little Aldershot!! Thought the online photos were nice and Menu had a few interesting offerings but when we arrived and saw the black tablecloths, lovely glassware and warm ambiance PLUS the ample dinner menu we were blown away!! LOVED the appetizers - bruschetta, escargot and Brie - only the battered cauliflower was a bit disappointing but everything else was perfect! Bonus moments included half-price appetizers on the Tuesday and a great bargain 3-course dinner for $30... creative salad, yummy salmon en croute and a TO DIE FOR coconut cream pie!!! What lovely service by Steph and Laura. This restaurant is a find - go and you won't be sorry!!!
Had a great time with friends, quaint enough but bankets and high tops, lighting too harsh on some, the washroom was not up to my standards of look, clean enough but some money could be spent there, i was a tad put off by the smell just before entering the restaurant as it had an extreme ripe fish smell.
