We choose to eat here each time we are in Skye - sometimes twice in 1 week stay! Food invariably good and we will be back Ambiance depends a little on fellow diners and last visit lacked a little focus and was a bit noisy But always made welcome and food always excellent

Nice restaurant. Good service. Nice food without being outstanding. Value for money - terrible. £14 for a dessert. Main courses £32 each with no veg. Our bill for 4 people - starters, main, 1 dessert only with one standard bottle of wine was £262! We like the Skeabost Hotel as a venue but won’t be dining here again at these prices. The food is nice but isn’t of a standard to justify what they are charging. We’ve just moved to Skye to live and are disappointed to say the least.

I booked this for our first year wedding anniversary as we got married at skeabost hotel on September 17th 2022, which the wedding was lovely however I was a little disappointed with our dinner as I wrote on our booking notes about all of this and not one person mentioned it, it was such a special night and came away feeling a bit let down especially as we actually got married at the hotel a year before I felt there wasn’t care for detail around and would have been nice if something would have been done as a celebration. I was there on my birthday on vacation. They did forget my mushroom’s & peppercorn sauce with my meal but got it to me. Good was fantastic. Ambiance beautiful. They even sang Happy Birthday to me!

Lovely hyper traditional setting. Probably great place for suburban traveler on pack age cruise ship itinerary. Staff was diligent and friendly. Food does not give any offense or take any detour into creative territory. Scotland may or may not gain independence, but this place will help keep it tied to English cuisine.

While the Hotel seems OK and the location is good the overall experience was poor. We had afternoon tea which was not to the standard of this establishment and the Sonas group having had better afternoon teas at their other venues. There is room for much improvement in the service and standard of food presented.

Food was acceptable, but not of the standard we would expect from a **** hotel. Staff were pleasant, but did not check if we had enjoyed our food and totally ignored us as we left. The view from the restaurant is good. The venison was good. The mussels starter included 3 closed mussels which was not acceptable to me. The batter on the haddock was too thick and although the fish was good, there was not much of it. Overall we were disappointed.

Very disappointed. We were force to eat in the waiting room. It was very noisy and lousy because there is the coffe machine always functioning. The side portion are very small and not so good (bland with not so much taste). We have to wait a lot for our plates and between each plates because the waiters forget to come and see us. Not recommended at all.

As we were not hotel resident guests, we were put in the piano bar for dinner, therefore no ambiance, bit annoyed as I had booked the restaurant and it was my birthday. Some meal portions were quite small for the price.

Very good food and excellent service in an exquisite hotel that has a bit of a Grand Hotel atmosphere. If you are seated at a table in the winter garden you also enjoy the beautiful view to the Loch and the surrounding landscapes.

Fantastic hotel with delicious, well-rounded, well-priced menu options. We stayed three nights and had made plans to have our last meal out. We quickly changed those plans and came back to the restaurant for the third and final night. We highly recommend all the dishes but we all enjoyed ordering the sticky toffee pudding over and over.

Unbelievable view, food and service. Went were a party of 6 that included a toddler and baby and they were so accommodating. Quiche, Monkfish, and the Haddock were fantastic. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

The food and wine were very good, but the service could have been better. In general the staff was friendly, but not very knowledgeable (perhaps due to inexperience) and the timing was a little off: we received our main course 5 minutes before the paired wine.
