   A bit disappointing. We had to wait 20 minutes even though we had a reservation. Unfortunately there was a strong bleach cleaner odor near our table. Lacked ambience.

   Fabulous! A family event (ages 7 to 75) filled with Joy & delight. From crab cakes to my SOFT SHELLS! Out of this world! And always great service and fun with the staff. Check out the bar - quite a city-vibe, -and got to try the Speakeasy downstairs (shhh) for a true personalized crafted experience. Top notch locale in all ways. Stay at Hotel Indigo sometime as well!

   This new restaurant is a fantastic addition for West Chester! Been there 3 times so far and enjoyed it every time! Seafood is excellent and service is great!

   Generally enjoyed the dinner, ambiance and service. Only complaint is that we were seated near the kitchen where there was an overwhelming smell of Clorox. When we brought the issue to one of the waiter’s attention, he said he would try to move the Clorox wipes. As we ate the smell was less but still noticeable. Will prob return for the food, however, next time we will definitely request a table away from the kitchen.

   For a place that has been open for a while now, the service was unacceptable. The server slid plates across the table requiring our help getting the plates to the proper recipient instead of serving more courteously/professionally. When asking for sugar for iced tea, they delivered one packet instead of a sugar caddy so we had to request another packet. When first greeted, we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water - never offered table water. We chose still; got served sparkling and had to have that corrected then got charged $7 for each bottle! As we were leaving, we noticed a nearby table with a carafe of water and the diners said you have to ask for tap water. We had a gluten free diner in our group. Before making the reservation, the website noted that GF could be accommodated with options. In reality, there are no "accommodations for" GF. In today's market most restaurants offer at least one GF bread and/or pasta but not Seafood Kitchen. We mentioned the issue to our server who sent the manager over to tell us that we were mistaken about GF accommodation and must have "misunderstood information we read about GF being accommodated" . We ordered clam chowder. It was served cold. We asked the server if it was supposed to be cold. She said no; made no apology just took away the bowls and came back with hot chowder after a lengthy wait. How does a kitchen no know that their chowder - which is a regular menu item - is cold? The seafood tower was shared by two diners in our group. It was fresh and plentiful. The lobster roll was so so. The GF diner was relegated to choosing a seafood appetizer and salad because of the lack of GF options as entrees. Overall. there are so many great restaurant options in West Chester, there is no reason to return to the Seafood Kitchen for an overly expensive at best mediocre meal served unprofessionally.

   The food was excellent. Grace, our server, was friendly, very knowledgeable and gave us excellent recommendations. My husband and I enjoyed our 51th anniversary dinner very much.

    Every restaurant is a vibe restaurant and the vibe is strong here at the Seafood kitchen. No place is hotter in West Chester right now than this one where Saturday night reservations are 3-4 weeks out. Doors opened at 4 and within 7 minutes every seat was taken. Our meal started off smoothly. The crab cocktail was fresh and plentiful. The Caesar salad was outstanding as I literally cleaned my plate. Lobster hollow pasta was good. My wife had two uncooked scallops from that nights scallop special. Not good. The plate looked like a hot mess and tasted like one too. Expectations at this level of dining and pricing comes with touches noticeable missing here like ground pepper offered with salad, graded cheese offered with pasta, no cherry in old fashioned, no cocktail sauce for crab but they did provide on request. Grace did a nice job serving us on a busy night and we wish her success as a Golden Ram student.
