The music was loud so it was hard to hear even the people at the same table as me. The service was fine, if anything it felt like we were being rushed with the speed food was being brought out, unless that's something you like. The portions are kind of small, so order several dishes. One rice dish was just enough for four people, so definitely order more for a bigger crowd or if you want more rice.

I have dined at Wenwen twice and intend to return soon. I cannot critique a single thing about this gem of a restaurant. From attentive service to delicious food served in a comfy atmosphere, Wenwen checks all boxes. The dishes are authentic and packed with flavor, while the portions are generous, perfect for family-style dining. A few highlights include Sacha Hot Honey Popcorn Chicken, Lo Ba Beng, Lill Flemming Fried Rice w/ Shrimp, FenZheng Pork, and last but certainly not least, Beef Fat Chili Oil Noodle - Miso Baijiu Short Rib, Shallot, Charred Chinese Broccoli, Thicccc Noodle. This dish is a must if you like spicy broad noodles. They are arguably the best I've had in NYC.

Great food and service. Great song choices especially the mandarin and Cantonese songs. It’s fairly expensive for the serving size and what it is though all dishes we ordered are great.

I found this place on YouTube, Alvin Zhou posted a mini doc of it. I went to Taiwan as a kid and haven’t had authentic Taiwanese food since so I kept this place on my radar. We traveled in from Texas for some shows and so I made sure to book a reservation here. Our group number fluctuated but the hostess and staff were so kind and accommodating when we asked to add another person to the table when we showed up. It was rude of us and they didn’t have to make the effort but they made it happen. As far as the food goes, it was unbelievable. Start to finish the plates were perfectly seasoned and the combination of ingredients felt effortless. Everything was in sync. The flavors of the FenZheng pork and beef noodle soup brought me back to my trip to Taiwan. Those were flavors I fell in love with but hadn’t tasted in 15 years. A truly authentic meal. Thank you guys for an incredible experience and providing that community atmosphere with your food.
