Dine in our highly acclaimed restaurant, The Dining Room which has stunning views over the Yorkshire Dales or take advantage of The Gun Room with its cosy snug ambience and open inglenook fireplace. Or enjoy Private Dinning for parties up to 18 people in The Glass House. We pride ourselves in serving a mouth-watering selection of dishes, most with locally sourced Yorkshire ingredients.

We also have a specials board to showcase the talent and passion of our chefs who also delight locals and guests with their themed culinary evenings serving dishes such as fresh Seafood and Prosecco. We serve the same menu’s throughout all our dining rooms and outside on our decking area and welcome you to join us for special occasions such as New Year’s Eve.

                                                                            The Wellington Inn was welcoming with friendly and helpful staff from the minute we arrived. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the staff were attentive. The menu offered a good selection and the food came out in good time. It was freshly prepared and both meals were lovely. The portions were big so we had no room for dessert, but they looked great too. We stayed the night, so had breakfast the next morning which was equally as good. There was a lot of choice on offer. Will be back for sure!

                                                                            Fabulous food with an extensive specials board. The service was great, friendly & efficient. Multiple seating options to suit everyone including a lovely new outdoor area. We were in the bar area which was busy but not noisy. We both had the grilled salmon which was perfectly cooked with a selection of veg and a divine sauce . Highly recommend.

                                                                            This is our 2nd stay here, which was every bit as good our first visit. Had a very pleasant stay, warmly welcomed, comfortable room, excellent food and service. We will be back.

                                                                            The quality of the food was excellent. Generous portions. The staff were extremely friendly and looked after us well. The restaurant is spacious and has fantastic views.

                                                                            We were seated in the restaurant, which had lovely views across the landscape The staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentive. The service was prompt and the food was delicious, with a wonderful variety to choose from.
