Placed on couches instead of at table making it difficult to eat. Very limited menu on the night so we just got bar snacks and had dinner at the restaurant next door.

We love Welles St and go often. The food is great, varied and lots of healthy tasty options. The staff are super friendly and really helpful. Beers good too :) ... Overall our COVID level 2 visit was great, but I think the strains of COVID must be taking their toll. This time we had a few hiccups with our order (things missing but we got them quickly sorted) and the final bill wasn't correct (luckily we checked and was quickly rectified). Also the menu was super cut down and the souvlakis were missing their Tabouli which was a shame (although I happily also blame COVID for both of those things - supply and demand, the risk of lost product due to lockdown etc). So apologies Welles St that my review is not as glowing as normal ... I know it's tough times. Chin up and looking forward to seeing you next time :)

We are regulars most Friday nights after a long week and they have the light but very tasty type of food I like and great guest beers on tap

The lamb was very tender the portion size was large. The specials each night look good value but we did not try them. Only one dessert option and it was sold out. Great for a large group.

Hey team, Just some feedback, we love heading to Wells for a drink after work and we quickly booked a table before we arrived (about an hour's notice). The waitstaff that greeted us seemed really annoyed that we did this as it wouldn't have come through on her booking sheet (totally fair enough but we didn't know this at the time). We totally understand this, but to make sure we as a customer do the right thing next time, is there any way that bookings can be cut off on the reservation system if it's within a certain time? Or what the best process would be for last-minute bookings be if online isn't a suitable option. Thanks, Aimee

Vibrant indoor/outdoor dining and drinking. Great service and delicious food. Not an enormous amount of choice on the menu but sometimes that makes it easier to choose.
