                                                  Our favorite restaurant and it's BYOB! Yes, the service is sometimes a bit slow and yes, the owner is the only chef, but the quality of both the service and the food is more than worth it. Everything is made to order and you can taste the pride and love in every bite! If you've ever been to the Caribbean, you understand "island time," so just relax, enjoy a lovely glass of hibiscus punch (even better if you bring your own rum) and enjoy the reggae music and the ambiance of this family-owned restaurant. We have been here multiple times and have enjoyed every meal. We are normally so full we can't eat dessert, but we always get it to go and eat later - unbelievably delicious! Support this wonderful establishment - you will be glad you did!

                                                  I hope this place makes it. Pottstown has so few reasonable restaurants. The food is pretty good. The wait staff needs some real training. They are nice, but just don’t know how to be above average. The chef or manager need to specifically address this. Often, there is live music, suited to the genre. Tonight was an inattentive DJ. I will go back, looking for improvement.

                                                  Having one cook for a place that busy was frustrating. We were late for our concert which was incredibly embarrassing. It's a shame because the food was vey good but I will not be going back.

                                                  I really enjoyed dinner at Welcome to the Avenue. The live music was great and so was the service. The only suggestion I have would be to pre set the table settings, to avoid customers asking for them and prompt purchase. Overall, great place and will definitely go again! 🙂

                                                  Food is tasty and authentic! Service was polite but a bit slow. Nice live music which added to the experience. My suggestion is they need to work on timing of food arrival to table. It is worth going back a second time!
