Our bar manager Shan Liu stands ready at the bar to bring you the most delicious libations in the city. We offer a full array of spirits, beers and wines selected from the US and abroad.
Our ultimate goal is to create a comfortable, sincere and welcoming place for everyone to dine, relax, socialize and share great experiences.
Fried eggs + hardwood smoked bacon + green harissa + ciabatta
chicory + cress + french beans + toasted marcona almonds +chile oil + toasted sesame seeds
calabrian pepper rag + toasted pugliese
I guess that the only negative which is not the fault of the restaurant is that there were a lot of people there and I am not ready for that just yet.
Over all good
Much different from the dinner crowd Will return to compare
We had a great night! Justin helped us pick out some great items. The foie gras truffle tortellini is my new comfort food!
We were having brunch to celebrate a bachelorette party. The manager was so awesome and brought us complimentary champagne. The whole staff had great customer service. One of my favorite place to visit.
We tried weights and measures today for the first time. Had seen them listed in an article about brunch spots in Houston. The service was excellent but the food was horrible. I got the French toast with fried chicken. The chicken was flavorless and fried in unseasoned Panko breadcrumbs. It was almost too tough to cut. The sautéed spinach was too greasy to eat. My wife got the Caesar salad that came with chicken. Once again her chicken was tasteless and tough like a hockey puck. The Caesar salad which claimed to contain Romain had not one bit of Romain. It was some iceberg looking lettuce and it was all yellow core. I’ve had many Caesar salads and know what Romain looks like and there was no Romain in the salad. Overall the food was terrible and tasteless and one of the worst restaurant meals we have had. Definitely not a repeat.
Music in back dining area way too loud. Difficult to hear dining partner.
This was our first time at Weights and Measures. It will definitely be added to our rotation of brunch spots! The chilaquiles with the braised Wagyu short rib is outstanding!
It was so nice to be able to enjoy Mother's Day brunch out! Food, service, drinks- all were top notch. No issues with social distancing- go out to eat at Weights and Measures people!!
Service amazing!!! Lighting not so great but food was excellent and for this reason I will be going back soon and recommending to friends!!!
Always a great experience.
Whow! Loved Avocado Toast. Attentive service.
Service was very good, food not so - chose the pecan roll from the bake shop which obviously hadn’t been baked that day. A half hearted attempt had been made to warm it - however it remained dry and tasteless. Also ordered the S’Mores latte which was lukewarm and the bears, the main point of the latte - had fallen into the coffee, giving a mushed biscuit taste with each sip!!
Weights + Measures serves quite delicious food which seems to be of very high quality. The restaurant is quite unique visually, and the service is excellent. The smoked salmon appetizer should not be missed unless you really hate fish.
We both ordered the Caesar salad with salmon. The salmon filet was fresh and cooked perfectly. The salad was delicious and the homemade croutons were perfect. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and helped us choose our dishes. We both enjoyed everything and will be back!
Weights and Measures is delectable! Delicious food, creative drinks, and personable staff. The lighting in the central part of the restaurant is a bit bright at night but we embraced it. The G&T, Sparkling Cosmo, Shaved Brussels, and Spanish Octopus do not disappoint.
We had heard good things about this restaurant so finally decided to try after reviewing the menu. Saturday night not very crowded. First, the wine- not a large selection, particularly by the glass. Tried a California chard- very flat like it had been open for some time- waitress was very accommodating and offered a champagne (for same price) which I accepted. Didn’t notice at first since it was in a wine glass, not flute, that it had no bubbles!! Also, seldom ordered apparently. My dish (pasta with scallops) was pretty fresh and tasty. My wife ordered same dish but gluten free and didn’t care for it. I would likely return but will have to convince my wife. If we return , probably will order bottle of wine and go with another couple (eliminate wine by the glass issue). Have to give experience a “C” overall- sorry
As usual , awesome and amazing. Satisfying every time I come.
Same place but the menu and wine list have been pared down. Not nearly the choices we had the last time we were here. Not on my list anymore.
Having said that, the food we ordered was tasty and the service very good.
Always excellent, please keep the weekend early bird special running.
Outstanding, as always. We all hope that the incessant rad construction will soon be ended, which should be great news for Weights and Measures.
Ambiance and service was great but food was not good at all! Waffles were not fully cooked, chicken was lacking in many areas, sautéed spinach was under seasoned and oily...the drink was the best part.
Weights and Measures is our families go to place-
It’s always perfect!
Brunch is better than dinner.
Dinner was delicious and Christian was a most attentive server. We were a little disappointed at how slowly the bar took care of our drink orders.
Although I had a reservation, they asked me to wait a few minutes after 15 minutes I noticed people walking up and being seated. I asked and was advised they forgot about me.
I tried their pasta and was very good
We are the ribeye meatballs, they were good. Salmon tartare was really good. We also had a pizza and short rib ravioli. They were good but not great. Service was subpar at best. Waitress was not very attentive and would take 10+ minutes to even refill water when she went to get a new bottle. We prob won’t go back. Disappointed because we heard it was great!
Date night with friends. Our third time, their first.
Mary was our server and she was great!
Food is always delicious and we are able to try things we haven’t had.
Very cool place. Cristian was superb! Food was piping hot and delicious. Music was loud but awesome!!! Will go back again.
For a valentines day it was very good. The food was very good, seasoned properly and cooked to perfection. The service was on time with the food. Wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely go on a less busy time to experience the real menu. The only deficiencies was they failed to serve our welcoming cocktail as stated on menu, bar was extremely slow (the bartender seem more interested in talking then making drink orders) and the coffee that was ordered was cold. Not warm but cold. But when a restaurant is slammed I will give then a second chance. I understand.
We went on valentines and there was a limited menu.
My wife got the tenderloin and said it was great. Her appetizer was good as well. Something with cabbage.
I got the quail for the app and it was very bland
For my entree, I got the sword fish. It was cooked well but I believe the dish had roasted pine nuts. It was awkward because I honestly thought they didn’t cook the Risotto all the way. I would have left the pine nuts out, if that’s what it was. Presentation was great on both dishes but I don’t think anyone actually tasted what they were serving. We’ve eaten here before and had a great experience. This wasn’t a bad experience necessarily, but I was a little disappointed with my choices, especially for what was charged.
Food felt very banquet/cafeteria-esque. Clearly trying to serve a lot of people.
Very Nice dining space and service.
We enjoyed a pizza and wine.
Server seemed in a rush and distracted. Not that busy so I’m not sure why. It kind of ruined the experience
Great experience. Really nice diverse menu.
We came for brunch with two small children, and the entire staff was welcoming and accommodating. There is a lovely brunch menu and terrific space, but the highlight was our server, Mary! We enjoyed the dining experience and will definitely come back!
