Gabby was an amazing server extremely knowledgeable and a great personality. Made some great suggestions for dinner.
A beautiful space in a great location. But the service was really horrible. Despite not being crowded at all, we waited at least 20 minutes to get our drinks, and the slow service continued throughout the meal. The food was decent although somewhat overdone as it sat so long before it was brought to the table. I might come back for drinks outside, but not for the extended time dinner.
Overall we had a great night, but there were a few things that make me not give it 5 stars. The service was not good, we spent 35 minutes just waiting on our cocktails and the bread was missing from our burrata appetizer. The side options for the entrees were very limited. I'll go back in the future, but it really was too expensive for what it was.... Would recommend the tiger prawns appetizer and the Newly Fashioned cocktail.
Love this place. Great service. Ordered the avocado toast. Great flavors. Only small critique is the avocado was brown and had clearly been refrigerated. The contrast to having a hot egg on top a little icky. Would suggest it be freshly mashed and at room temperature. Not crowded, easy to get in and out. Rest of the menu looked delicious, can’t wait to go back and try something else. They also do an array of fresh made hot sauces. Beautifully presented and tasty.
We enjoyed our experience at Warp and Waft a lot, except that it was extremely loud. The service was outstanding, as was the food. The restaurant is interesting and fun to explore, and we enjoyed standing and watching the open kitchen at work. The only downer for us, and we're all senior citizens, was the noise. I'd go back, arriving early when the noise level is manageable. It's an intriguing restaurant.
Food was very mediocre which was so disappointing because the restaurant itself is spectacular looking and the service was good.
Staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend for date night or to watch a game. They have a separate lounge area by the bar to watch the games.
The best food and service-decor is notable
Located at the Andaz Scottsdale we arrived at sunset just as the sun dipped behind Camelback Mountain. A stunning view. We were greeted with live music, fire pits and happy hour. Our server Rebecca was extremely personable and really made the experience enjoyable. A very enjoyable experience all around. We’ll definitely be back.
Beautiful setting and the service was phenomenal! Love the decor and style, too.
Sat at the chefs table which was private -small menu but they hit it right on -everything was fabulous and they created a great birthday dessert -highly recommend
We were there after dark so did not see the great view that it is supposed to have but the interior is modern stark. Tables are well spaced. Also, it was a cool mid-week night and the open doors were occasionally a little too chilly, but the staff was great about keeping it closed as much as they could. It was sparsely attended that evening, so noise level was low for our conversation (I suspect when crowded it would be noisier due to the architecture of the place). The service was very good, close to excellent, and the food was fabulous. Everything we tasted was wonderful and new to our palettes. I am not a particularly astute foodie, but I suspect foodies will love this place. We enjoyed this meal very much.
Amazing! Really great food, venue, and service
I’m sorry to say we were very mixed on this experience. First, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. That said, we had some fantastic (vegetarian appetizers) starters, which we all enjoyed very much. The entrees across the table (chicken, pork, fish) were simply so undercooked it was not very palatable. Our impression, based on server inout, was that this was how the chef preferred to serve those particular entrees. Chef, if you read these rd Jews, that is absolutely not your call unless you’re paying the bill. My apologies for the negative review as we were excited to experience the establishment.
The flavors dance and pop as you enjoy the exquisite dishes.
Fantastic staff, food and ambience!
The staff here is excellent! They work well together and they are fun.
The menu online is not accurate. This was s also at a hotel, I wish open table would specify hotel restaurants, seems like I run into this a lot in Phoenix.
Disappointed with quality of pastries somewhat undercooked-center should not be doughy
Our server. Gabrielle, was great.
Great ambience, good menu. Some food was burned but when told it was replaced. Food that was served was warm to cold, not hot
Excellent food and service. The wine list needs work, but we were told it’s being revised with the help of Hyatt’s resources, so I expect it will be much better shortly.
Service, food, and experience was top. Gabi was fantastic. It was my best culinary experience while in Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Will definitely come back again!!!
We tried several of the shared plates and three out of four were awful. The gnocchi was so bad and looked so unappealing that they took it off our bill and replaced with the Elote corn dish that was very nice. But I would never go back again with so many other wonderful restaurants in town.
Delicious breakfast, lunch and the most amazing flan. You have to tried. Good options bot vegetarians.
The friendly Manager even made us a fresh pineapple juice that we still talking about. It was so good!!!!
We ate here everyday during our stay.
A hidden gem in a hotel environment. Enjoyed the food very much. After sampling many of the wonderful and creative small plates, we were full. We didn't even get to the entree side of the menu! Creative ingredients, interesting food and sauce combinations - a mouth explosion with every bite. We will definitely go back but during the day to see the beautiful hotel and grounds. It was lovely at night but we missed the wonderful views and sunset. A new favorite right in Scottsdale!
Limited selection for breakfast to start...the long blond hair in my chicken sausage sealed the poor experience.
The food is amazing - everything is so flavorful.
Rebecca was a fantastic server.
I actually try to avoid posting unfavorable reviews. My more frequent choice is to say nothing unless I have praise about a positive experience. But our recent dinner here left much to be desired where service is concerned. When one is seated in a dining room with only two tables occupied, one should not wait 30 min for drinks. Every aspect of the service was slow and we were never offered an explanation or an apology. The waiter dished out a fake smile every time we asked about our food. We never had the correct utensils, extra plates as needed, or water filled. There was a complete lack of attentiveness or attention to the details that are expected when dining in a fine restaurant. And to top it off, I chose this restaurant to celebrate my mother's 83rd birthday. And because dinner took so long, we did not order dessert. We were afraid that might keep us there for another 45 minutes. I have never seen a restaurant not bring an elderly customer some sort of birthday acknowledgment. That could have been a cookie, a scoop of ice cream, or anything at all as a kind gesture. The waiter was well informed that we were celebrating a birthday. All we got was a check on the table. Throughout our evening, the dining room was mostly empty. A 3rd party of two was the only other table seated. I hate to see how things go when the dining room is busy. The food once received was good. No complaints there. But as we all know, dining out is an experience that includes the ambience, the service, the food, etc. We pay for the entire experience, not for one part of it. I was not only there to celebrate an important birthday but had a relative with us who flew from Europe for the occasion.
Food was good but the service was absolutely awful! Would not go back for that reason.
The food was okay, however the service was a real let down. The bartender made some really rude remarks to the girls in my group. Also the server at the table was really disappointing and made a huge mistake on our tab. Instead of apologizing for the mistake she attempted to convince me that she "did it on purpose" and told me to "calm down". She did not apologize until the rest of the girls in my group questioned her about it where she made excuses such as "its the end of the night", "it happens all the time and its always fine", and "its really nothing to freak out about". I completely understand that mistakes are made, however this place isn't cheap and I felt extremely disrespected. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Lots of other options.
First time visitor. Met a colleague and customer for lunch.
Each of us tried something different and everyone was delighted with the meal and service.
A little out of the way & signage is minimal, but glad we found it and will definitely be back!
This was my first visit. The space is modern, attractive, and airy. The open glass kitchen is a nice interest point.
I was there during restaurant week. The menu had excellent choices and the portions were fair and sufficient. My gem salad was just above room temperature and while fresh did not have any flavor. I asked for more dressing and received a new salad with more dressing. it was a nice touch, but the salad was still not sufficient.
On the other hand my scallops and accompaniments were outstanding. I would have it again and again. In addition the deserts, particularly the flan, were perfect specimens of their genre.
In all, I would return as the space and food are worth it.
Loved food and atmosphere. Lovely! Only thing server rushed us. Restaurant was only a third full so not sure why.
Tried it out for Restauatant Week. Gem salad was not very tasty, pork chop undercooked and service not very good. Had high expectations going in that they failed to deliver on.
Our party of 4 enjoyed every item on the restaurant week menu. Everything was very good. We especially liked the mole and the corn soup, they were the stars! Service is as friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The manager was also very attentive and humorous. We very much enjoyed our experience and will come again.
We dined during Arizona Restaurant Week, so there was a special 3 course tasting menu which is a little different than the normal menu. The service was friendly and attentive. Entrés were all nicely presented, well prepared and enjoyable. Wine list is a bit short, it’s OK, but not really a focus. The space is very comfortable and attractive, with lots of room between tables so it doesn’t feel loud or crowded.
I think this would be a great place to gather some friends after work for drinks and to share some small plates and enjoy the sunset and the view.
Wow! What an awesome place with fantastic food. The special was an outstanding halibut dish. Fulfilling but light. Nothing was heavy or loaded with carbs. Loved it and can’t wait to return!
Some of the best food in Scottsdale
Food is excellent but the servers were a bit odd that night signing and dancing to the rock music doesn’t seem to fit for an expensive dinner. Hope they can get the service down since the food and setting are so great!
