Weeping Radish Brewery
A very friendly place. The staff was helpful and very attentive. The food was excellent, and the portions were plentiful. My family really enjoyed ourselves; it was a nice break from the beach.
Very disappointed. Ordered the pork schnitzel, it was a piece of paper between two pieces of cardboard fried and tasteless. The so called gravy was awfull. The side dishes were small and cold. My husband did like his sausages, but they were also cold. The waitress was the only bright spot .
The food was good but we were disappointed that despite making a reservation our party was separated.
6 of us were seated immediately on arrival. Table seating in quiet area.
Server was friendly and attentive and the bar and kitchen were both prompt
Beer options good and those selected were good. Nice menu and varied selections
made. Fried pickles very good as were pretzels, Reubens were excellent, and the
sausage variery varied and all good. Very Good experience
Excellent food and beer! Great family place! Can’t wait to go back!
Excellent food. I have been coming to the Outer banks for years and passes it many times. Seen it on Diners, Drive ins and Dives and was impressed. It did not disappoint. Wonderful service and the food was excellent and at a fair price.
We came from Virgina Beach and it was worth it. We brough a baby and they were more then great to accommodate him I'm coming
Must get the sausage flight, good to share, Reuben was to die for...bought see brats on the way out...will go back
Leah was a wonderful server - polite, answered our questions, and just a delight. We hope to have her the next time we are there.
Worth the drive off the island
The service and beer were great. We liked the liverwurst sweet potato appetizer. The schnitzel was very dry and over cooked and would be more authentic with mushroom gravy. The meatloaf was very dense and had a nice flavor. The sauerkraut was very sour and I generally love it but not this time. We also had pork tenderloin and it was just ok, overcooked and dry. The red cabbage was very good! Overall it was just average for the food. The beer was very good! The server was excellent!
Always a good choice!!!
Gave the restaurant four stars because we were rushed. The last reservation available on Open Table was at 7:45. Made ours for 7:15. They were not busy. Food was delivered to our table by 7:30, and the staff turned at least 50% of the lights off at 7:40. It was very noticeable and very uncomfortable. What would have happened if we had chosen the 7:45 reservation option? These places on the OBX need to stick to their advertised closing times, regardless of how many patrons they have. Food was good, service was good, but I won’t forget this visit. Owner should be made aware of his staff trying to cut out early.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful German food. In house butcher shop with house made sausages and lunch meat. Also a brewery. Celebrating the 30th year.
Our waitress was great, as was the beer and food. We truly enjoyed the flight of beers.
Never disappointed here! The food is awesome!!! We had everything from soup to steaks to Rueben sandwiches to schnitzel!!! I make an effort to try something different each visit but the Rueben sandwiches are so good!!! The appetizers are incredible too!!!
It is a wonderful little spot with a good fresh menu. I like the local ingredients and the fact that everything served is theirs. Comfortable surroundings and a great flight of beers.
Awesome sausage!!! Beer was good but not quite as cold as we hoped. Would be perfect with chilled glasses. Had great service, kid friendly, clean, comfortable place to dine or have a few drinks.
Waitress was very helpful for our party of seven. We enjoyed the evening and had some jovial moments interacting with her. Three of us ordered the braunschweiger meal. The meat was very close to my
mother-in-law's dinner. Excellent.
First time in the Outer Banks and so glad we made the 30 minute drive here for dinner. So glad we did. We went on a Monday and were the only table in the place (maybe Mondays are slow for them?). We opted to eat outside and were so excited to know we would have goat dinner companions! Lucky and Surprise are the cutest things ever. We ate at picnic tables in their front lawn, allowing the kids to interact with the goats before we ate and play on the lawn. Only drawback were the flies. The service was great and the food and beer were great as well. Highly recommend.
Great beer, food and service.
Awesome German food! Everything we ordered and took home was fabulous! Their sandwiches, brats, sauerkraut and pate was outstanding! Not to mention their outstanding brews!!! Great time had by all of us. We always take home brats of various kinds and multiple pounds of sauerkraut to enjoy later! Wish we could go more often, truly wonderful!
Absolutely the best Reuben we've ever had! Loved the atmosphere and the goats to entertain the kids! This is a for sure must stopeither on your way to or from the Outer Banks!
Service good but snietzel was dry. No sauce. Potatoes were cold. Red cabbage was good and beer great.
Wanted to try the Bavarian style food and drinks. The food did not disappoint and it was family friendly. My little girl loved the goats outside.
Fantastic service. We tried a flight of beer and discovered several favorites! The food is delicious.
Great experience. Awesome beers on tap.
Food was great, service was great, can’t wait til next time.
Sadly this is not the same experience I had when we visited the original site in Manteo. The sauerbraten was not a traditional roast. It was thin slices of roast beef in a sauerbraten sauce. If they had no roast ready, I would've ordered something else had I been told. The beer was good, though.
Outstanding experience. Everyone in the group of 15 was very happy with the food, ambiance, authenticity, farm to table, great beer. And this group is not easy to please. Service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant.
