   Service was fantastic, really welcoming and attentive. I had to send my starter back as it was quite cold, main meals were very good except my wife didn't like the sauce on her chicken burger, we didn't want to seem to be awkward customers so we kept quiet but it might be worth asking if you want the sauce or not.

   Food was lovely Server was great We weren’t rushed into ordering or leaving so spent a good few hours catching up with friends

   If I've not had a great experience at a venue, I usually don't go back. However, although today wasn't great I will go back because it's never been like this before. Our booking was for 1.30pm and our table was in the conservatory, which was fine. We ordered drinks and our meals and waited...and waited.....and waited. Three people had starters and the three children had their meal at the same time. At 2.45 I went to the desk to find out why there was such a delay. I was told it was because our steaks were well done -it takes longer! No one had ordered a well done steak, only one steak and it was rare. No one came to ask if we wanted more drinks, so my niece had to go and find someone to take our order. We finally received our meals, which were all delicious, as usual. I think they had packed in so many people, but had insufficient staff. We got our bill after our mains, as the three children were getting irritable. Our bill had a discount because of our wait, which we hadn't asked for, but appreciated getting. We will go back again, but on a quieter day.

   You will note that I have dined here many times and I have been complimentary Today however was not good - I font think the restaurant had geared up sufficiently for Mother’s Day weekend Service was slow and worst of all 2 out of the 3 dishes ordered had to go back home the kitchen My Cullen skink was not warm and when I complained I was told it would be reheated not remade - dangerous. I asked for crusty bread and instead got a slice of white bread! - this is the second time my good had not been warm enough - I want this place to be a success snd have been over 20 times normally in groups of 4 I hope you respond to restore my confidence 🙏

   Food was outstanding! One of the best ceaser salads I've had! Quick service and the portion size was great. This was my first time here and I'll definitely be back and recommend! :)

   A fantastic place with great atmosphere, wonderful food and great drink. We booked a table which was perfect for the rugby. Will be back!
