Nestled at the beginning of the Pyrenees Wine region , Wayward offers an incredible view of the Pyreness Ranges and our established Vineyard.

Australian inspired cuisine using local seasonal produce with an emphasis on cooking with fire.

Open 11am - 4pm Friday to Sunday
EMBR Nights 6:30pm - 10pm Friday & Saturday Nights

This one such an experience. The food was amazing . Tasted so good and mixed so well. Service was also great.

Front of house service excellent, very friendly and right on the ball, very attentive considering he was the only staff on floor and bar as well. Nothing seemed to faze him. Food was delicious, Beef Cheek was amazing,as were the dishes on our table. Great winter get away for a few hours.

Amazing dinner with amazing service and food. One of the best dinners we have had for quite some time. Would thoroughly recommend this fantastic venue. Great value for a delicious experience. Well done!

It was quite chilly inside the restaurant. There was a wood fire & split systems operating. It’s a big space to heat.

Lovely outlook, cozy fire, great selection of drinks, wines, spirits & small cocktail list. Food we had for lunch was delicious, shared chicken croquettes (starter), roast pumpkin(side) with pork skewers (1skewer per serving).

Delicious food and wine. We were able to have our dog with us at an outside table which was lovely.

Fantastic atmosphere, great service and food was delicious. Wine was beautiful. Had the Chardonnay and Shiraz, both very good. Highly recommend and my husband and I will definitely be back. Great place to go as a couple or a group or even on your own!
