   Was expecting a more refined experience from Waves. Meals sizes were far too large and were more like standard pub meals than those I would expect from a beach front restaurant. The ambience was disappointing with the lighting far too bright and no background music at all. Service was good except waitress tried to take our plates away while we were still eating making us feel rushed.

   The meals were all very good, but a bit expensive. We booked for 4 but had 2 extras turn up at the last minute. Staff were very cooperative and happily moved us to a bigger table. Fantastic scenic views over the bay. Very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend.

   The venue and view are stunning. The food was fantastic. The staff need more training in service delivery and the place will be even better.

   Our Experience at Waves on the Beach was very enjoyable. The table service was prompt and our meals arrived in a timely manner. The food was lovely. Will definitely be going back.

   As always food great - drinks a reasonable price - always greeted with a smile . It was packed on a Wednesday night which tells the story - great Frankston gem .

    No where in Melbourne can you dine literally on the beach at this price. Some dishes can be a miss, but the majority are excellent. Highlights include spiced cauliflower bites, garlic bread, burgers and the roast lamb for two is the pick of the bunch. Highly recommended.
