Hidden away on the beach with stunning panoramic waterfront views, Waves Restaurant offers an amazingly picturesque dining experience.
As a restaurant, it is just perfect for casual group meals, a romantic dinner for two or for a more elaborate wedding – for which they are very well known. Their interior has an easy, coastal feel with comfortable furniture, letting the ocean take centre stage. With glassed walls allowing the maximums views of the ocean in front of you, the feeling of dining by the sea is as real as it gets.
Their team of chefs have created a seasonal and mouth-watering menu that complements the relaxed, seaside feel of the venue. There are also delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and a daily specials board. The wine list is also generous in its diversity with sulphate-free, organic wines available as well as delicious local and interstate wines. There is plenty of paid parking right outside their door and they are open 7 days for lunch &

    Our lunch experience at Waves was very good. We had four diners, celebrating two birthdays. Even though it was a cold, miserable day we were lucky enough to be seated by a window overlooking the beach, which was lovely. The restaurant was full, but we could still hear reasonably well. The food was good, but not outstanding, as one piece of barramundi was a little overcooked, and the seafood pie didn't live up to expectations. But it was still perfectly acceptable. The waitress was lovely and attentive. On the whole, we all had a lovely time, and would book Waves for our annual birthday celebration catch up again.

    Absolutely fabulous spot. The view of the beach was amazing. Food was fantastic and two of us are Coeliac’s and our meal was wonderful too. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Excellent lunch thank you

    We ate on a Tuesday night so not sure if that was a factor normally it's great, the seafood Linguine fish had a slimy taste to it and scallops over cooked, the Siracha sticky chicken was very greasy, but the barramundi was lovely and the Chicken Scaloppini

    Delicious food, with really generous serving sizes. It's a great venue overlooking the beach. I did find it a little bit cold being winter and being sat near the windows. Otherwise everything else was great.

    We always enjoy dining at Waves. It was a cold but sunny day and of course The Bay looked amazing! The food, service & ambience were all wonderful...that's why we keep going back!!!

    Enjoyed my most recent visit to Waves. Party of 8 for lunch and we all enjoyed our meals from Barramundi, fish & chips, haloumi salad and roasted pumpkin. Such a wide variety of dishes to please everyone. Staff are always patient and professional. And such a beautiful location even though it was a cold and windy day. Lucky it’s my local go to!
