Hidden away on the beach with stunning panoramic waterfront views, Waves Restaurant offers an amazingly picturesque dining experience.
As a restaurant, it is just perfect for casual group meals, a romantic dinner for two or for a more elaborate wedding – for which they are very well known. Their interior has an easy, coastal feel with comfortable furniture, letting the ocean take centre stage. With glassed walls allowing the maximums views of the ocean in front of you, the feeling of dining by the sea is as real as it gets.
Their team of chefs have created a seasonal and mouth-watering menu that complements the relaxed, seaside feel of the venue. There are also delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and a daily specials board. The wine list is also generous in its diversity with sulphate-free, organic wines available as well as delicious local and interstate wines. There is plenty of paid parking right outside their door and they are open 7 days for lunch &

I had asked for a window table in my booking, when i got there i was told that was for larger groups (4 or more) then she said bookings of two have ro sit in the booths. I said i was not happy with this and she replied well thats it. Very disappointed on a Wednesday lunch i couldnt make a request.

No complaints here! Service good, meals great & quite large. Paid parking was a bit of a pain however minor thing.

Extensive and diverse menu. Delicious, flavoursome meals and drinks. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked (large groups), making the noise level a little high and so not as pleasurable a dining experience as enjoyed on previous visit. Ours was a special occasion booking and the designated table was a bit disappointing - not relaxing, felt cramped/perchy, ocean view blocked by large pillar and stacked furniture on balcony. It won't stop us trying once again in future, as the restaurant is lovely when quieter. More intimate.

Pleasant eating, excellent food but extremely noisy. Was a full house and noise levels made it difficult to have conversation with son.

Great food and choices. 2 course meal was superb. The desserts were to die for and the 3 of us enjoyed our main course. Highly recommended.
