Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to go back!!

We were seated right away. Service was very good. Always available to provide you with anything you needed before and during dinner. I do have one suggestion. Knowing we are still confronted by the COVID19 virus, it might make sense to put wrapped squares of butter on the table with the bread. We pasted both the bread and the cup of butter around the table thus allowing six people to handle both. Just a suggestion.

Great food and atmosphere in a perfect location! At the dock in Port Jefferson relax with food or drinks.

Each member of the party barely ate any of their appetizers or entrees. The food was terrible.

It was date night for me so i had a nice quiet and intimate setting with a table overlooking the water

It was lovely to sit there and eat looking out at the marina. The COVID precautions were very good and we felt safe - this was our first time dining out in a year! My only suggestion would be to give a heads up on some of the market prices...we both ordered specials (soft shell crabs and lobster) but my husband’s dinner was twice the price of mine and half the bill. It seemed excessive and was a surprise when we got the bill. Other than that, everyone was lovely.

I am prefacing with that I understand it’s COVID and staff is limited & the manager was nice enough to reduce our bill, but I am providing feedback so the restaurant can see it & learn from it. They apologized and said they were understaffed & I usually have a wonderful experience here.
- Made reservations, but they don’t apply to outside dining. Regardless it’s COVID & reservations should apply t every area during this crisis.
- Seated right away, but took a while to grab drink orders
- Service was scarce. Long time to check back and refill drinks
- Appetizers were missing but never saw anyone to tell them
- We stacked our own plates and had them waiting to be taken, including our silverware from appetizers
- Meals came out cold & missing 3 side dishes
- No silverware given for the meals, including steak knives. - We were given regular silverware and ate Filet Mignon & flank steak with butter knife
- waitress could not answer the difference between the filet mignon & flank steak
Hoping to share the feedback in detail so the restaurant is aware of this experience. Luckily we live close by and will visit again.

Great food great service and great atmosphere

Maxwell, the server, was awesome. The food and drinks were greet, and the view was very nice.

It was a sunny Sunday that we hope to enjoy our brunch in this restaurant close to the Port Jefferson Harbor. There was a fixed price lunch under $40 for the choice of one appetizer and one entree together with a tower set of donuts, muffins etc .
First of all, the tower set of donuts etc were stale and not fresh. I ordered the crab cake for appetizer and found the Costco crab cake would be much superior than these two floury cake with no taste. Most of the customers chose the lobster and shrimp roll for entree but the roll was just made with some tasteless popcorn shrimp and tidy lobster pieces stuffed between two piece of burned bread. The complimentary cocktail Bloody Mary come from the bottle mix with no alcohol.
This was a horrible brunch that spoiled our mood for the beautiful Sunday.
We understood the pandemic affected the restaurant but without putting any heart or efforts on the food and drinks, you don’t deserve any positive feedback or support.

My friend and I had a great time at brunch! We will definitely be returning.

Went to Wave for a lunch with a very old friend. She wasn't terribly hungry, but I was. And she missed out! My appetizer (tuna tartare) was incredible and the cocktails were wonderful. The view is from the dining room is always amazing too. And our waiter was attentive, but also patient with us. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and delicious place!

Food not worth the money, location great but ambiance and energy was low

Our server, Frank, was attentive and excellent! The manager came out several times to check on how everything was going. It was an overall great experience and I felt well taken care of during our dining experience. The food was fantastic as well.

Eating upstairs, we had a beautiful view of Port Jeff Harbor and the sun setting! Everything was perfect!

First time eating here. And honestly I was very disappointed. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel but the restaurant experience really killed everything. Or main dish tooo about 45 minutes after we were done with our apps to be brought to the table and after waiting all that time to eat, the entrees were brought to our table cold. Very upsetting. The only plus about this experience was that they had live entertainment.

Dinning room can use an upgrade. Looked very dated. Food was good but served “warm” not “hot” that is always a turn off.

Very limited menu with no specials on a Saturday night!

Food was bland and expensive. We had high hopes for great seafood but this place fell short.

Was my first visit & I was pleasantly surprised- the ambiance was fun & festive- Katie & DJ our bartenders were attentive & fun! Food & drinks quite nice too.
Looking forward to my next visit.

Outstanding service, delicious and ample servings, and a beautiful setting.

When we arrived, we were the only table seated. It was our anniversary, so we ordered champagne to celebrate. We love Danfords and we’re excited to go there. My husbands fish & chips were cold when cut into as if it was frozen and reheated or something, which was kind of disappointing. While waiting for his food to be remade, our dinners were cold as we didn’t wish to eat without him.. no one asked if we’d like to have our meals redone too, to enjoy a hot meal all together.. His was remade and was now over cooked. I guess i was just disappointed that no remediation was offered. Not even for the $26 worth of champagne to be on the house. Our bill was just under $200, which we gladly paid understanding that times are tough for restaurants, but my opinion changed on this restaurant as to the freshness of their food and quality of their service.

Visiting our daughter at Stony Brook University. Wanted to take her out for a nice meal. This was fabulous from soup to nuts with a lovely view of the water. Expensive but worth it!

Food was awful!!!

We asked, on Open Table, for a table inside with a water view. That’s exactly what we got. The staff all wore face masks. Everyone was very polite and efficient. The food and cocktails were yummy. The restaurant was full, but the tables were spaced out a bit. Very nice dinner.

Waitress said the “kitchen had an accident and our ordered sides fell” but we think that she simply forgot and blamed the kitchen for her mishap. She never told the manager that we were complaining about the service so to him everything was new when my husband approached him. Luckily, he was very apologetic and understood how dissatisfied we felt.

Although the grounds and views were outstanding, I didn’t love the food. Actually my biggest complaint is a dirty martini in a rocks glass. Ribeye was n worth the money. The flat iron was so much better.

We're very happy that we found this wonderful restaurant and that it lived up to our expectations. The host was welcoming and attentive. The settings is undeniably beautiful and definitely adds a very romantic feel.
The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and made good suggestions.
The food was everything, tasty, well presented and perfect portions.
Can't wait to vist and possibly stay at the hotel.

I have no complaints. Everyone was nice and service was excellent. Location was great. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely return.

Pretty disappointed that the open table reservation for my anniversary dinner did not include outside dining at Wave. Wait time to get table for two would have been an additional hour.
