Mussel mania is a great deal. The price has gone up a bit but it is still worth the trip. The service was excellent. The noise level was deafening. Definitely not conducive to having a conversation.

Food was excellent! Wait staff great. When we were there it is was not really a busy time yet the Bar staff seemed to ignore you unless you were a regular. That was kind of a turn off. Manhattan prices for mediocre cocktails and standoffish service. Thank god the dinning experience was great. Bring you appetite but suggest you pre-party before you go.

We were really looking forward to going to Waterzooi to celebrate my husband's birthday. Waterzooi did not disappoint us. We had the mussels and frites and a couple of appetizers. Two pots were enough for the four of us (and we did not finish it all). Love the variety of pots of mussels. The only thing I have any trouble with is the noise level. It is very hard to hear the others at your table. At least on a week night, it was better than a Saturday.

We love this restaurant. The food is so fresh- you can never go wrong with the fresh oysters and delicious mussel pots! And don’t forget the different Belgian beers you can choose from. A real nice evening for my hubby and I. We are coming back — again!!

The food was phenomenal and the service matched! I have a gluten allergy and our waiter was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. Definitely plan to come here again.
The dining area is nice, but the tables are quite close together and it is reallllllly loud when it's busy.

Waterzooi was awesome! We went for brunch. The food was really yummy. I would totally recommend getting mussels (one of their specialties). They have so many different varieties to choose from, so you are bound to find one that you love. Our server and all the servers were nice and very attentive. You will really feel like you were sitting in Belgium - great ambiance. We will definitely be coming here again!

Our waitress didn’t want to be a work, she was extremely unfriendly and the food was just okay, was expecting a lot better quality, the mussels were mushy and the vegetables that we ordered didn’t come out with our meal. We had to ask twice to have our waitress Check on the vegetable. Would not go back again

I love this place! Energy is high and could be considered loud but you can still talk to your party. Concentrate on that amazing sea food raw bar and unique mussel pot and get over it. In this place food is king!

We sampled other restaurants during restauran week and I have to say, Waterzooi was the best one out of the group. Food was delicious. From appetizers to desert. Service was on point. Priced right. A great night out.

We go here often & love it -- the service & food are always great - solid & reliable! The noise level gets overwhelming to the point that you have to yell at your dinner mates just to be heard but the good outweighs the bad every time. The mussels are amazing every time -- loved the Thai lemongrass ones!

Had a wonderful date with my wife. She had the lobster croquet, mussels Montrechet and the apple cobbler. I had crab and clam chowder, Farmhouse mussels and the Belgian triple chocolate mousse. We have never been disappointed, hands down the best mussels around.

We went on Restaurant Week and this is the second time we have come here. We were impressed AGAIN!!! The service is outstanding and the food is second to none. We come from Ronkonkoma which isn't exactly next door. Well worth the trip and absolutely worth coming out for again. Can't wait to stop in for another Mussels Pot

I’ve been to this restaurant 4 times now. The food is consistently excellent. The service has always been good. The mussel pots and Belgian ales are the main reasons to come here. That being said, the appetizers, other entrees and desserts, are great also. I highly recommend the mussels in lobster bisque.

Amazing menu, tons of beers with great service and great company!

First time at Waterzooi after a friend has been trying to get me there for years and I was not disappointed! The steak and mussels were amazing, gnocchi was even better and the apple cobbler for desert was a great way to finish the meal!

With so many beers to choose from I asked the waiter was a recommendation would be based off of what I like and don't like and he hit it right on the head!

Despite being all the way in Garden City and me living in Huntington, I will definitely be back!

The food was good. Service was okay. The waitress was not friendly just ok. She was matter of fact. We were the last in her section to leave and she wanted to sweep and go. It was 10:30. So she sent the busboy over to clear our glasses away to give us the hint. If it wasn't for the fact that that two ladies sat down and the front of the restaurant wa full I would have said ok. She just wanted to be done. Yes that put a bad taste in my mouth. Very rude, it's restaurant week and you want new people to try the restaurant. If I were the manager and he heard me say something to her, I would be infuriated. Not good business when young people do what they want and are held to a standard of excellence!

At least the fourth time we’ve eaten here. Never had a bad meal. Portions are really good size, and yet never overly heavy. Different mussel preparations are outstanding. Would recommend it , and have recommended it to friends .
