First time. Beautiful setting, wide variety in menu, delicious lunch and great service. Highly recommend!
No fault of the restaurant, but there were several large groups that made it very difficult to discuss the business which was part of our reason for meeting. The staff was very good about accommodating us. Scott and Nancy our severs were great.
Excited to try this new restaurant for the first time, especially for their Tomahawk Ribeye. The presentation and "show" by our brilliant server educated us about the medium rare wagyu steak we were about to feast on. I have to say the presentation was better than El Gaucho's. The steak was juicy and melted in your mouth!
We ordered practically all of the small plates, and the steak came with two sides. We especially liked the mushrooms, truffle fries and honey walnut shrimp (on the bar menu). The crab cakes (3) were a half-dollar size and just okay.
The environment / bar area was active/loud due to a convention, but they seated us at a window table so the view made up for the noise.
We would dine there again.
1st time visiting this restaurant. Was very well pleased by the food and the service. I had the trout amandine, and it was done to perfection. Highly recommend this dish.
It felt like we were inside the hotel, instead of eating at a restaurant. The ambience is not great.
Only complain is the food value. The price is only justified by the setting as the Hyatt definitely has a trendy atmosphere. The food was not excellent and the portions for the price are very small.
This was a Velentine's Day dinner for my wife and I, 3 course menu (filet mignon, scallops or mushroom risotto). Filet Mignon was good, scallops so-so. French onion soop with a soggy thin slice of Baguette unremarkable.
Ambience soso: nice large windows looking on Lake Washington, but in the winter you see mostly reflections of the restaurant interior and its gigantic TV screens. Together with the bar area and its seating, the tables away from the window had more of a sports bar feeling.
Zero proof drinks (we are temporarily on medication) were the usual fruit juices, the interesting sounding yamberry soda was out, hot apple cider on a cold, rainy winter night: no such luck. Does it have to be that boring in a Hyatt restaurant?
I admit we are spoilt by a myriad of very good restaurants in the greater Seattle area. Nothing was really terrible, and it was good to try it once. Next time, it it needs to be ok in that vicinity, there is Peirasol (hope I spelt that right) across the street.
Like all the other reviews- food was great but the service was terrible.
We came here for Valentine’s Day and did the prix fix 4 course meal. Our drinks didn’t come until after the 2nd course. We told them to hold the second course until after our drinks came. When the drinks finally showed up the waitress spilled my wine over the table- I think she was trying to show her displeasure.
2 of my courses were served without utensils ready for me to eat.
Overall pretty disappointing for a $200 meal for 2.
Food is consistently underwhelming and overpriced. Love the location, but just go there if can’t think of anywhere else.
We had honey walnut prawns and a salad.
It was our anniversary and I noted that on the reservation. Everyone there treated us like we were special. It was a great experience.
This is the second time I've taken my family to brunch at Water's Table, and I will continue to do so and/or recommend to others. The value and service are well worth the time, energy and funds. It's also kid friendly.
Fries are heavenly!
Perfect place for lunch with a friend.
We celebrated a birthday and were treated to complimentary champagne and dessert! The special attention was very nice.
Thank you! Great food and great service!!!
Looking forward to come again!
New menu does not include lunch specials during weekdays. We were at a work lunch and it took 90 minutes despite the fact that they weren’t busy. We’d like to go more often but the prices and time commitment will make it a difficult decision in the future.
We took our out of town business partners out for dinner and it was lackluster. Drinks were slow, food was slow, I asked for a virgin margarita and three times they brought it full of alcohol. Finally I drank it and then got sick. The food was decent but far from special. Menu was limited.
Beautiful location. Stunning design. Decent menu. Tolerated our kids. LOL. I’ll be back
It would have been a perfect experience except there were very long delays between courses of our multi course dinner. Seemed the dishes weren’t getting made fast enough despite being on a pre fixed menu for New Year’s Eve. I would definitely go again during a quieter time of day.
Excellent service and food
It was our 1st experience to visit the restaurant Water's Table. It was Brunch Style Buffet at lunch time(10am-2pm) on Christmas day ($30per person). it was wonderful. I requested window seat for 5 people to enjoy beautiful view of lake Washington when I made reservation through Open Table app, but, sadly, they didn't have any table for 5 people to sit together for window seats. But, Greeting female staff gave us better table in the opened privit room. It made us feel special, and, we had more privacy for family Christmas event. All foods were absolutely wonderful, and all staffs had professional attitude including our sever, ham carving station staff.
After done eating, we had good family time at the lake Washington too.
Our family Christmas lunch (brunch buffet) at the Water's Table restaurant was very successful! The Water's Table restaurant is now on our favorite restaurant list. Appreciate to Water's Table restaurant!
Excellent Christmas brunch with the family. Thank you!
My family and I were under the impression there was a separate egg station. The waitress even mentioned it it. We all went to the buffet part to get our sides and then looked for the egg station which there were none. The waitress saw us looking and asked what we needed. We told her and she went to the back and put our order in. The eggs arrived hot but all our sides were cold and the toast was wasted.
I will not try the breakfast brunch again. Quite disappointed.
6 people in our group and we able to hear each other talk. Setting and views were very nice. Food was godo, service was great. Will definitely return in the future. Easy parking with validation.
Very desent food. Service is excellent. Place is not very huge which gives the environment less noise. Servers are very good in handling customers.
I love this place! A beautiful location and venue with easy access to I-405. Great menu options and outstanding service.
Had a wonderful dinner. Prime Rib for 4 and it was excellent. Service was friendly and excellent. My husband accidently tipped over his drink and they immediately helped him, cleaned up and brought him a new drink. I would recommend it. It is a bit pricey, but not bad.
This is a great place that more people need to discover. The food is really good, the service is always top notch and a view to boot!
The service, food & ambience was perfect. We had a wonderful evening!!!!
Love the location and atmosphere but the service is poor and many of the wait staff are rude. We’ve been here several times hoping for a better outcome but always leave disappointed. They often are out of many of menu items and with their already limited selection, you’re left with very few choices.
The meal was excellent..I had the fish and chips
The environment was comfortable. My daughter and I try out different restaurants. This will be one of our favorite favorite.
It was a very good experience. *
Food was fantastic! I had the trout and it was moist and flavorful. My companions had the pork chop which was tender and the chicken which was juicy and very succulent. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Nice evening!
A true pleasure to find this right in our backyard, so to speak. Absolutely beautiful spot on the southend of our Lake Washington and sitting just to the east of Renton Airport. The views are spectacular and the food is wonderful. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch along with the bottomless Mimosa's. Everything was good and can't wait to return.
The Thanksgiving meal was outstanding. The King Salmon and the Turkey were delicious. It was great service even if it was a buffet and our table had a beautiful view of Lake Washington. It was a great time.
Great Thanksgiving buffet. Excellent food in a beautiful location
This will be part of our yearly Thanksgiving ritual. The food is great, the restaurant is by the lake. Service is wonderful.
Went for Thanksgiving and it was fantastic! The carving station had turkey cooked to perfection and also roast beef. Along with all the other fixings and desert there was more than enough to choose from.
But I must say it was the staff that made the experience exceptional. The staff were so friendly and attentive and made you feel special and appreciated. The views of lake Washington and the ambiance of the restaurant were also exceptional. I highly recommend this place for a quick drink or a leisurely dinner.
Food was underwhelming.
Fantastic food&lake view. Great evening
