Pros: Beautiful view, lovely restaurant. They validate parking in the garage.
Cons: The menu is limited, food prices are a bit steep but I've seen worse. Limited and somewhat expensive choices of wine by the glass. It took a long time for our appetizer (bagette) to arrive. Maybe our waiter was having to cover too many tables, not certain for the reason.
Great view. Limited dinner menu with rather unimaginative preparations. Quite expensive. We had a great waiter and a nice time. We'd maybe go there for a drink but probably skip having a meal there.
Great view. Excellent waiter. Food not so good and expensive.
We've never been disappointed, and that's not always the case with a hotel outlet
Food was great. Had great view. Quiet and good location. (right by the water)
Don't forget validate the parking ticket at the front. :)
Go for the view. Amazing view of lake Washington. Food was very meh. We got the fish and chips as well as the half chicken. Both were bland and overpriced. The local cider and beer selection were very good.
TLDR: go for the view and order drinks. Skip the food.
5:30 reservation. Empty tables closer to water view. Told those were already reserved and we couldn’t be moved there. When making reservation on open table it asked if this was a special occasion. I said it was my birthday but there was no acknowledgment of it during or after our meal.
We had such an amazing experience! Service was wonderful! Jonathan in valet provided such an exceptional service. We will definitely come back. Thank you!
Got a carry out and sat in the Adirondack chairs on the patio. Wonderful!
It was a wonderful experience! We were celebrating the accomplishment of our team, and it was a warm, sunny day, so we sat on the patio. Nice lake view before our eyes, quiet for good conversation, very good carrot soup and entrees, and wonderful service. We will return!
It was a beautiful evening on the patio. The service and food was outstanding
Destination dining in the most beautiful setting around. Staff are wonderful and service is top notch. *Everything* is cooked to *perfection* and delightfully presented from their *unique delicious gourmand menu. Shout-out to Chloe for brilliantly composed fresh drink creations.
Memorable food, staff and setting.
Excellent setting. Great wait staff. Priced fair.
Scott our server was amazing best part of the experience. Pasta (fettuccine) was in a pool of salt. Too much . Not tasty and overwhelming.
Water's table is one of our favorite locations on Lake Washington. If you come by boat they have plenty of dock space and the view of Seattle is stunning particularly around sunset.
On this particular visit (4/17/21) the service fell short of our expectations. This was the fist time the thermometer hit 80 in Seattle this year and it was known for days that this would happen. Management should have been prepared for a very busy day and staffed appropriately. However we only saw a couple of wait staff juggling all the tables in the terrace and trying to keep up. It took almost half an hour after we arrived for the waitress to offer us drinks, and another 25 minutes for them to arrive. the kitchen must have been equally short staffed because the food was slow to arrive. However once it arrived it was quite good and consistent with our price vious visits.
By the end of our meal the hostess had stepped in to help out and things seemed to be flowing a little better.
This review is not a ding on the staff - they are always friendly and helpful and were doing what they could. But management clearly goofed with planning for a particularly hot day that came earlier than normal in the seasonon which means that every waterfront destination is packed.
Great brunch, beautiful views and great customer service
Cocktails and service were good, food only fair. Food menu is limited. We had the burger which was ok, fish and chips were were good, and the pasta dish which was terrible (we were surprised at how bad it was, just some really bad noodles with a cut up chicken breast on top).
Food was expensive. The burger isn't juicy enough and wasn't comparable to even Shake Shack burgers, but it was more than twice the price. The environment was amazing though
Best crab cakes I have ever eaten, yet that said, they were 1/2 dollar size.
3 adults ate dinner, my husband only had an appetizer, I had a salad, and our son had fish and chips.
The bill was $160.00.
Not worth it to me. I will not be back.
Gorgeous view! Great spot especially on a sunny day.
First really lovely evening of the season and they were full ! Glad we had a reservation! We sat on the outside deck and had a lovely dinner! We will be back soon! Service was a little slow at times but i think it was because of the increased business. Our sever was still excellent and we had a great time.
Our first outside the house dinner date was made special by a great meal, a window seat, perfect weather and great service. Seattle Restaurant Week menu didn't disappoint. We each ordered each dish; the carrot soup was divine as was the beet salad. He ordered the salmon and I got the steak and we shared - our own version of surf and turf. I couldn't finish my steak it was so large. Both of them melted in our mouths. He got the crumble and I had the sorbet. Both were delicious. Thanks again for a great evening.
The view and the service was top shelf. The menu for Seattle dining week gave us plenty of choices. We didn’t leave hungry.
we were charge 20% for service fees when we only have party of 4. And the appetizers taste like baby food (carrots soup)
Wonderful food to n a great atmosphere. Chloe the manager is amazing. This is my favorite place to eat after arriving at Sea Tac Airport . Plus the views can be amazing
The service take to long! And they never told me the menu for weekend is only brunch menu. I went with my family because of my birthday and we wanted to eat food not breakfast!. Service slow and take a lot time. Didn’t like. Very disappointed.
Had Sunday Brunch. Outdoor covered patio seating with heaters. Ambiance was great; some noise from the float planes and air traffic from Renton Municipal Airport, but it added to the experience. Right on the water - beautiful setting, great food and beverages.
This was my second visit and it was better than I remember. Our server was great and very helpful. She was always ready and aware of our culinary needs. I would highly recommend for ANY occasion.
Took a good friend here for dinner out on the patio. The patio is well covered and with it being a windy day, they had the protective shade down to keep the dining experience pleasant. The food was very good, I had the ribeye special and my friend had the Salmon. both were cooked perfectly. The food is pretty pricy as is the wine. In all though, we had a great time and enjoyed the experience.
Gorgeous view, great service and wonderful food!
My first restaurant experience since the world stopped in March of 2020. Brunch lakeside with electric heat overhead was superb.
The service was great. Good coffee too.
The location is good. We don’t have many nicer restaurants in Renton especially for business. Great view. Service was ok but lacked energy in the restaurant. Our server missed many opportunities to make our visit memorable. Hotel front end staff great, loved the community dog!
Over priced for sure especially for lunch. Decent but not worth the price. Both our drinks were incorrect - twice! I was really hoping it would be a better restaurant experience especially for my client! May give them another try but probably not anytime soon.
The food and service were good but I was very disappointed when the fish and chips, which were advertised as beer battered on the menu, were breaded fish. I've been looking for a good place to get good beer battered fish and chips in the Seattle area since a trip to England two years ago. I had it there once and was hooked. Ended up having it three times while there. The website picture and menu gave me hope that this was the place I was looking for but, no.
Great food and service. The views are beautiful!
Thank you, LetitiaF, for the great review! Sincerely, Steve Nicoles, Water's Table Manager
We had reservations at 6:15pm to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. I have been here once before and it was great, so maybe we just came on a off night. But we didn’t get our starters till around 7:40pm and actual food around 8pm. Not to mention our steak was COLD. Definitely wouldn’t expect this from such a beautiful restaurant.
Hi Keely, Please accept my sincere apologies regarding your experience. That is not how we want to operate at all. How did our team handle the situation of the long wait and cold food? Did we correct the issues? If you have a moment, I would like to hear more about your situation. I am sending you a private message with my email. Sincerely, Steve Nicoles, Water's Table Manager
We had a reservation and still had to wait 1/2 hour for our table. Slow service. When my fish n chips were delivered, only 1 small tater sauce for 2 pieces of fish, ($25) came with the meal. The server asked me if there was anything else? I asked for one more.
It never came and my second piece of fish got cold and uneaten.
Our server was fabulous but had way too many tables and spread too thin. It took forever to get each course, no fault of his. Love the change in menu - food was much better than any previous visit!! Will definitely return. 😁
Thank you, StaciT, for the great review! We are always looking for great people to join our team. Are you interested? :) We look forward to seeing you again! Sincerely, Steve Nicoles, Water's Table Manager
This was our first time dining at this restaurant. It was a wonderful experience and the meal was delicious. The Manager was extremely accommodating due to a rather unique food allergy. Our server, Austin was fantastic!
Thank you for the 5 stars! We are so lucky to have Austin on our team. See you again soon! Sincerely, Steve Nicoles, Water's Table Manager
