Wonderful fresh seafood! Great wine list.
We had a reservation and were seated quickly. We had to wait about 5 minutes before anyone came to our table for water or wine list.
Server was very kind and attentive. Somalia never stopped at our table but seemed to stop at every other table.
Sea bass, Scallops, Arugula Salad with Tomato and Fried Goatcheese, Lobster MAC and Cheese, Brownie with Bourbon and Ice Cream, Wine, Coffee were wonderful.
We were in the mood for seafood and was totally satisfied! Shrimp cocktail, crab cakes , Halibut, and sea bass were all delicious- cooked to perfection. Great wine selections- really good pino thanks to the sommelier. Salads just right and a terrific lemon cheesecake for desert. Service was excellent and great atmosphere- simple and classy. All in all an excellent dining experience- was our second time here, and yes there will be a third...
Our party of two had the char and the halibut. Both were very fresh and well prepared and presented. The fried oyster appetizer was exceptional. Will become a staple for us when visiting Fort Worth (we are a little more than two hours away). Service was excellent.
Was a good experience, but not as good as the previous location in the 7th avenue area. I had the Halibut. It was a good sized serving, cooked perfectly, but significantly under seasoned. I had to add salt and pepper to give it any flavor. My wife had the Salmon and thought it was OK but not outstanding. The best part of dinner was the dessert, the Brownie.
Overall the dinner was OK but overpriced for what we got.
Great as usual
Food and service were wonderful!
We had our 34 th anniversary dnner there. It was wonderdul. Was just a little disappointed they didnt acknowledge it w a little treat. I had mentioned it in the reservation
Food is good but not worth the money. Bland and poorer quality than I would expect for a $95 bill for two people (without tip).
Ambiance was excellent and I would return just to hang out but would not look forward to the food.
Good food/service. Sundance Square location is not as nice as the previous location. I would warn potential patrons that if you make a reservation for the patio and the patio closes - then you probably will get stuck in the bar or your reservation will be canceled. Unfortunately, this happened to us when we went there for our Anniversary.
Great oyster selection and the seafood tower was on point. The entree was good but I expected a better dish for the cost. Overall, it seemed a little over priced but the service was impeccable. We'll definitely be back, but likely only for the oysters and tower.
The oysters were very fresh with a large variety to choose from. Outdoor seating was very enjoyable and relaxing.
One of our favorite seafood restaurants! Food is always perfectly cooked and presented.
Waters is a great upscale seafood restaurant with reliably delicious oysters, fresh selections and reliable go-to dishes. We strolled in late and hungry and they met our pace perfectly with no waiting between courses (our request - not their normal speed). Great for business travelers and seafood lovers alike.
Must have caught them on an off night, as we have heard good things. Went on a Monday night on our anniversary. Server was very friendly. Appetizers took a very long time coming out, finally brought by the manager. My entree of cajun char was lukewarm, bordering on cool, taste was average. Water refill girl was very attentive. Manager did give us a gift card for the late appetizers, gave it to a friend as we will probably not be back, will head to Eddie V's instead.
Excellent food and drinks. Phenomenal service and great atmosphere.
Wonderful dinner with my daughter celebrating Mom’s weekend for her sorority & my birthday. Everything was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and the waitress’ recommendations on food & wine were perfect. Will definitely come again when back in town.
Excellent food, service and ambiance. Water's is a place that will remain on our list of favorites. This place has everything dialed in and figured out. It is perfect every time we go.
Amazing, nothing more than amazing
I liked the food we ordered but think the menu could use more fish selections ,and leave off the chicken. A pasta dish with seafood,or/and a pasta side would be nice. We may go back in 3-6 months hoping a wider selection
Outstanding alternative to traditional steak house for business entertaining. Fresh fish options (especially the halibut special) were perfectly prepared and tastefully presented. Very nice white and sparkling wine selections pair nicely with menu. Downtown location with a polished yet comfortable feel and service that is spot on. Overall great business setting.
Great fries and burger for my son. Excellent crab cakes and gumbo. Superb carrot cake.
Easter was fantastic at Waters! Food and service impeccable. Best seafood restaurant in Fort Worth. Wine list is great, vibe is always upbeat and fun. Great patio out back, too!
We loved Waters at its former location and followed it here. Any restaurant run by Jon Bonnell will always be tops. Exceptional oysters, halibut that was so divine we savored and smiled at every bite, and staff that makes sure everything is perfect. An exceptional restaurant for any occasion, but especially when you want a memorable meal to memorize a special event. Exceptionally scrumptious. If you have not eaten here, you are missing out on the best of Fort Worth.
We ate on the patio before a Bass Hall ballet and loved it. Great wine selection and dinner was outstanding.
We loved oysters and lobster Mac and cheese. Scallops were sandy and halibut was salty and overlooked. Expected more, like Bonnell’s much better.
Service and ambiance great. Food was served cold. Limited wines by the glass.
Totally enjoyed our evening at Water's Restaurant. The tomato and fried goat cheese salad was excellent. The scallops were good but were lacking something. The crab cakes were very good. Service was amazing and the weather was perfect for outdoor seating. Yes, we will go again.
Loved it! It was our first time here. We’ll certainly be back!
Great seafood. Great service. Can't beat eating outside in the bar on a beautiful evening. Would go back soon if I lived in Fort Worth.
Came here to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. It was phenomenal . The staff was great. Our waitress was awesome. They brought a free champagne toast. They have an outdoor bar we came back to later in the night and the staff remembered my girlfriend and brought her a feee glass of wine for a second bday drink on the house. We will absolutely be back. The meal was less then I expected cost wise ~$125 for two with drinks , appetizers and crab / scallop entrees. One of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. Two thumbs way up.
Waters is always excellent and made me look like a hero this time too. Amanda stopped by to say hello and was very gracious. Chris was a real pro as our server in the bar area. Quality food, classy place and a local feel make Waters a real gem in the DFW area.
The restaurant is in a great location, the service was good and the filet was excellent. We got “The Dirty Dozen” oysters which is a tray with two of each of the six oysters they offer. They were all terrible and honestly the worst oysters my wife and I have ever had. After the first three we actually contemplated on not even trying the last three but figured we might as well try them since we were getting charged for them anyway. The filet I got was extremely good and made up for the oysters and my wife seemed to enjoy her scallops. I wouldn’t make a special trip downtown just to eat here, but if I was nearby and the other nice places had a long wait then I would go again.
On my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Fort Worth. The quality of the food is top quality and very delicious. I would recommend Waters to anyone and for all occasions.
My wife and I went to Waters for our one-year anniversary dinner on a Friday night. My wife had been to Waters at it's previous location. This was my first visit. I was very impressed. The food was delicious! Their take on the Moscow Mule was very light and fresh. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend the hush puppies! The garlic butter used for dipping the hush puppies. If you're a bread lover, don't be scared to ask for some bread for the table. Bread lovers won't be disappointed. I ordered the salmon while my wife ordered the sea bass. Both fish options were amazing! We also ordered a side of broccolini which we also recommend. Our waitress was very professional and personable. While this meal was a little too expensive to make this an everyday restaurant for us, we could see ourselves returning here for special occasions.
We love the food and service.
Great ingredients well prepared. Stellar service especially from the sommelier.
Many trips to Waters and have always had an amazing experience. Food is perfection, drinks amazing and wine list spectacular!
It is now our official Birthday Dinner place. We celebrated my sisters 79th recently and it was very special. All her favorite dishes!
Great evening! From the hostess Gabby to our waiter Steve and everyone else who checked on us and delivered food or drinks, the staff was top notch. The food was on time and perfect, and I left having learned that Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Bacon-wrapped Asparagus have been missing from my life...what a great spot!
