Good food, ambiance and service but the price is not effective.
Great food and service. A real Fort Worth gem. Great oyster selection, sweet potato soup was the bomb!
Ordered the “Dirty Dozen”-delicious, such a treat to have fresh oyster! I ordered the fried shrimp, one of the Winter Restaurant Week entrees, probably the best I’ve ever tasted!
Lovely meal with excellent service. Food was uniformly plated attractively and tasted as nice as it looked.
We recently dined at Waters and ordered from the Winter Restaurant Week menu. My wife and I both found the Sweet Potato soup to be delicious, and we both really enjoyed our entrees - the redfish for her, and the shrimp for me. The only thing that left us less than completely happy was the dessert course. She is a big fan of Tiramisu and found the Tiramisu cake to be lacking in flavor. I thought my pumpkin panna cotta was rather bland as well. Having dined at the original Bonnell's and Waters on many occasions, we won't be deterred from returning based on one course out of many dinners being less than expected.
Food was excellent
Great restaurant. Great food. Great location.
Food was excellent and service was great. There were four
of us and everyone had something different. Everyone
was very pleased. Can’t wait to return.
I thoroughly enjoyed The Waters. The staff made us feel special. The food was delicious. The ambiance - classy.
My First time visit it was absolutely marvelous, the food was delightfully delicious and very fresh. The atmosphere was great. The bartender was spot on with her bloody Mary's, omg the best on the first order nothing else needed. It was a grreat first time experience. Thank you Waters.
I love this restaurant! A great treat.
Didn't realize I booked a reservation for a high-top table, my wife doesn't like the high-tops. After discussion with the staff, they were able to put us in a booth without hesitation.
New Years dinner with friends. Delicious !
Mary, our server was great! Attentive and excellent service!
My wife and I went for NYE. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Service from Host to servers was exceptional. I would highly recommend. Cocktails were done well and not overly priced.
Third time to visit the restaurant and I don't know why I haven't been there more times. The bar tender was great and was knocking out all the drink orders. The food was delicious and one of a kind. The desert was so good too. Left completely satisfied.
First experience at Waters was a great one. Our waitress was excellent. Very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent. The halibut was as good as I have ever had.
I am already looking forward to going back.
We were disappointed with our meal as it was very average at best.
The gnocchi under the halibut was not a good idea; a gooey gummy mess with no taste. Oyster Texasfeller was very good as usual. Since my wife is allergic to shellfish our waiter thoughtfully brought a couple of hush puppies for her. The Char with arugula was excellent. Well cooked and tasty. Very good service from waiter Ryan Owen. He was professional yet personable, informative, helpful and thoughtful.
Terrific high quality, reasonably priced seafood/cajun restaurant located downtown Fort Worrth. Surprising good - fresh, creative and well plated.
We are originally from Louisiana and are pretty tough critics when it comes to seafood. The fried oyster appetizer was delicious. We ordered the scallops and the special of the evening, red snapper. Both were very good. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and made excellent recommendations. We will return.
The food was delicious, but we all wanted a little more spice. Our server, Mary Crelia, was fabulous. She knew the menu, the wine list, and the cocktails and she gave us great recommendations.
Our food was amazing and the bartender made especially good drinks.
Outstanding staff recommendations - great martini - superb seafood & wine
Excellent as always!! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu
Great experience every time!
Christmas Eve dinner
I recently had a nice, quiet dinner with a friend at Waters. The food was very good, but a bit expensive for the quality, depending on what you order. Although they weren’t super-busy, service was a little slow.
Perfect environment. Perfect attention to detail. Great staff. Menu is spectacular. Just wish they were still in 7th District. We miss them but it’s worth the trek.
Food and service were excellent. Our party had everything from steak to king crab and it was all delicious. Ryan was a fantastic server too!
Wonderful food and service!!!
Seafood tower was great for two people. We even skipped desert.
Great seafood restaurant but also steaks, salads and vegetables. Unique dishes and excellent chef! Owned by a Fort Worth family and quality and service is impeccable.
I live in Dallas and do not have much experience with Fort Worth restaurants. After talking to some friends and doing some online research I decided to try Waters Street. There was nothing bad but nothing great. I ordered the fish and chips as did one of my friends and another person ordered the cajun pasta. The fish was good but the chips (steak fries) were cold and not very good.
We had an outstanding dinner at Waters! The service was very good and the food was amazing! My only disappointment was they didn't do anything special for my friend's birthday. I mentioned it was her birthday when I made the reservation on Open Table. Maybe there was a lack of communication with the restaurant. Other than that, an outstanding evening!
Enjoyed a relaxing Sunday evening birthday dinner. Service was great, not rushed, and food excellent. Appreciated the birthday dessert and thoughtful card. Would definitely return.
Food and service were great, Oyster were small compared to Eddie Vs
It has a great bar i the center of the dining roo. with an extensive wine list. Don't be tempted to skip the crab cake appetizer just because it seems like something you can get lots of places - theirs is magnificent. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time if possible.
Waters was a delightful experience. The food, from the appetizers to the entrees to dessert, was excellent. The service was great and the drinks were perfect. If you want some great seafood in a very nice setting in downtown Ft Worth, Waters is the place!!
The restaurant is very nice.
We made reservations for 5:15 as this was the only one available on the day we needed. We arrived and placed near the kitchen...which is not the best. The restaurant was empty at this time! Then, as we were ordering our drinks the wait staff walked through the dining area with a trash can and broom. Then the table next to us was being prepared for a large group...This is not the ambiance I was looking for. The waitress was wonderful, and attentive though. The food was excellent. The restaurant did eventually fill up within the hour. I feel that no matter what time your reservation is the restaurant should be available to allow you the experience of great food and ambiance... this is a pricey restaurant!
