At Waters Restaurant – Sundance Square, we source the freshest wild, seasonal, and sustainable seafood available. Our style brings together flavors of the southwest, with hints of Louisiana, but our featured ingredients themselves typically speak the loudest. Our Signature Gumbo hastens back to some Creole roots when Jon Bonnell cooked in the French Quarter of New Orleans, while our beef gets the royal treatment Chef Felli has made famous for much of his career. Diver scallops from Maine get a slight TexMex makeover after being perfectly golden-crust-seared, while jumbo lump crabcakes celebrate beautifully fresh crab as their essence, never loaded with fillers just to save a buck. We will never utilize third-world fish farms, cheap seafood substitutes, artificial flavorings, or exploit threatened species at Waters.     I appreciated the quick seating and acknowledgement that they saw we were going to a performance in 50 minutes. Unfortunately, it took a while for our waiter to make it to us, and he forgot to send bread and butter (after confirming that we wanted some). Second glass of wine was also very slow to come. As for food, the heirloom tomato and goat cheese salad was delicious, and my husband loved his Artic char. We shared some dirty rice which was very tasty, though barely warm.

    We celebrated our 8year anniversary at Waters, our server was really nice. He greeted us and congratulated us on our anniversary and promptly started to explain the menu for the night. (Chad-hope that’s right). He recommended the goat cheese salad for my husband and I to spilt and that was the best part of the meal. My husband did enjoy his steak although he did say it was a little dry and the added shrimp. My meal was not that great. The risotto was under cooked, the broccolini was extremely salty and the fish was bland, the little bit of sauce saved the plate. We sat at a table by the server’s entrance so I didn’t see much of the ambiance of the restaurant, I just watched the team work and I can say this place has a great staff they work together very well. We do fine dining as a treat and we have had some really great experiences more reasonably priced. Overall I left underwhelmed and hangry.

    The food was nothing special. Four of us dining and we all thought the food was bland. $30 bowl of gumbo was very thick; consistency like refried beans. When the Cajun from New Orleans commented to the waitress about it. Instead of her asking if the diner wanted something else, she just said that's how the chef makes it with his own Texan twist. Our other dishes were the branzino, the butter fish special of the night and fish and chips. Again, all bland and the branzino and butter fish somewhat dry. The manager kind of stopped at our table to ask how everything was and before we could speak, she moved on. Obviously didn't care how everything was. Disappointed as we were looking forward to a nice meal and expected it for the price.

    Food is always so fresh and tasty. Our server , Andrew remembered our food and drink preferences from our previous visits. We have not been to Waters all summer so this was awesome. Loved the oysters, tuna, lobster and gumbo. Andrews service was stellar

    We were on a tight schedule because of a show at the Bass Hall. We had a fantastic dinner and made it to the show in plenty of time. Great job from the hostess, server, kitchen, and all of the staff!

    They were busy so our waitress was helping the bartender get caught up. We never got the bread she had offered and didn’t get a second round of drinks to have with our actual meal until I got up and got the server.

    Very fresh seafoods and excellent fillet mignon. Friendly and great service with very efficient Valet parking. One of the best seafood restaurant in DFW area and I enjoyed so much.

    I love Waters, but way too expensive to go there too often. The food of course was awesome & Chad our server was excellent. He filled our every needs & with 9 people eating that was a chore. Thanks again Chad!

    We had a wonderful evening and dinner at Waters restaurant. We actually really enjoyed that the restaurant is quiet, we didn't have to yell over the noise to have a conversation. Our waitress, Elaina, was awesome! We chose off the prefix restaurant week menu, but added a few things from the regular menu as well. I would highly recommend, and will return soon!

    Excellent server. Wait for our table was surprisingly short considering the crowds when we arrived. We had a bit of trouble with the wine list but our friend was ordering pretty high end wines. Steak crust was a bit too salty for me. Espresso crème brûlée was excellent! Overall a very enjoyable evening.

    Made a reservation through Open Table for Restaurant Week. We waited 1 hour for our table. All personnel were very friendly and welcoming. Everyone was pitching in to make our dining experience a good one. The food was outstanding. Was a little surprised that we were not offered a free drink for waiting for 1 hour - but the rest of our experience was excellent.

    We were there for Restaurant Week. Menu was very thoughtful and the portions were appropriate. Both our entrees were served with grits, which were too dry and almost paste like although flavorful. My redfish could have use a lemon wedge and another spoonful of sauce. That being said, we had a most enjoyable dinner.

    My wife and I had the restaurant week menu. Food was excellent they certainly did not lower their high standard. Waiter was you but so nice and very helpful. Checked in us frequently but still maintained a low key. Food was first class

    We went for restaurant week. Restaurant was full but it was still easy to converse. Food was very good. Blackened redfish was a nice piece of fish, tasted fresh, was cooked nicely and not very spicy. Coffee crème brûlée was awesome. Hot dishes were hot and cold dishes were cold. Service was excellent - attentive but not intrusive.

    Delicious food and great service. Was our first visit and we will be back. The oysters and cocktails at the bar were superior. We did restaurant week menu and loved first and second courses (fantastic). I adored my coffee creme brulee - but my dinner partners were not fans for the pastry portion of their strawberry tarts. (Sorry about that - filling was lovely though, apparently.)

    Terrific attentive service as usual. The filet minion was soft and perfectly cooked. The crab cakes are always good. The coffee crème brûlée was really strong with coffee flavor, it was really good. Their raw oysters are really the best, and very fresh.

    Amazing food as always ! We are never disappointed when we visit Waters ! They have the best Gumbo , I personally have never been crazy about gumbo . Waters gumbo is the best I have ever had and I always have to order some when we go . Highly Recommend!
