   This was my second time to Waterfront. I ordered the special sea bass and my friend ordered the scallops. The service was amazing! Great server and staff. But I will say that my fish didn't taste too fresh or delicious. It just didn't have that delicate melt in your mouthness that you love with sea bass, and the flavor was a little "fishy", not in a good way. Both of our dishes had a texture like the fish was sitting under the heat lamp for a bit. Kind of rubbery. I was really hoping for an excellent meal! But I'll put it in the meh category. Great ambiance and great service though! I would be open to giving it another try.

   Unfortunately, our food was disappointing. High priced, fresh however it lacked flavor. Our Waygu 22oz was smothered in a sauce that it’s her butter on top however the steak was over cooked and the sauce had no flavor. The scallops were prepared well however again, the sauce they were in had no real flavor.

    The restaurant had a great vibe and was lovely inside. Patio seating was also nice with space heaters on a cold evening. Our server was fantastic; knowledgeable about the menu, attentive without hovering and just so nice. Food was good, not great, but good. Had the lobster roll. The truffle fries were delicious but the actual lobster roll had more mayo and filler than lobster. My pattern had the crab enchiladas. He said they were 'eh. Drinks were great and the martini chiller was a great touch. Blueberry fizz was a fun alternative to a traditional gin and tonic. I would definitely go back but would try different menu options.

    Always a pleasure to Come to Waterfront seafood grill! The staff is amazing and i owe it to the manager on site. The food is outstanding, the ambiance amazing, Music is great and food is delicious! Love this place! The gave us a free dessert for my birthday. Love this place! Best cocktails too!

    Would have given 5 star rating however with a reservation for outside, we walked by several open tables with nice view of river and were placed in very back area. Seems like seating could have been better!

    Waterfront Seafood Grill is a great restaurant! The seafood, and all food for that matter, is very fresh. The location is on the river and the outside seating is wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful and the outside bar is amazing. I could go on and on, but you must experience it for your self!

    What an enjoyable evening it was a Seafood Grill! In the past, we have typically dined along First St in Napa. Last summer, family was visiting from NJ and we discovered Waterfront Seafood. We had such a wonderful dinner that we had to take friends who were visiting from TX back to Waterfront. We had a beautiful outdoor dining experience with a waiter that had the best personality and sense of humor. I wish I could remember his name. He really made our evening a delight, and of course the food and wine was absolutely wonderful. We look forward to our next dinner at Waterfront Seafood.

    Our dinner was just outstanding. Easily five stars. We shared a crab cake as our appetizer and loved every bite. It was one large 4" crab cake made with plenty of fresh crab, a delightful herbed tartar sauce, and served on a bed of fresh greens. And for dinner we had halibut and scallops, and both dishes were perfect. Flavorful, colorful and just delicious. I appreciated that the entrees included perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables and potatoes. Our server was attentive and helpful, and dining outdoors overlooking the Napa River on a warm evening was perfect, though we appreciated have warm sweaters with us. They also have outdoor heaters and even lap blankets available for cool evenings. The food is expensive, but perfectly prepared and served, so as a special treat, this is a wonderful place to dine and enjoy!

    This was the last dinner on our trip to Napa and it was wonderful. Didn't order a lot and was light on the wine in order to recover from previous bouts of over-indulgance. Becuase this has a beautiful view of the Napa River and is on the riverfront properties in downtown Main Street we were expecting it to be more of a tourist attraction with good but not great food. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, the beautiful ambiance of the restaurant and view as well as the outstanding service. There were several other entrees that looked great so we will be back and try them next time. Highly recommended.

    Lobster Bisque =excellent. My husband said it was the best he ever had! Coconut shrimp starter came with 3 pieces and field greens. Not only was the shrimp very tasty, the greens were too (a bonus). Tiger Shrimp = Super large and excellent flavor. Tuna Poke Bowl = very good, served with chips which enhanced the dish.

    Service was excellent as were the cocktails. We were not rushed in anyway in ordering our appetizers or meal.  we had the coconut shrimp, halibut, Branzino, and scallops. All were very, very good.  Would happily go back.

    Our first visit but it won’t be our last. We invited another couple and every course we had was outstanding. Phil, the GM, was friendly and welcoming and Roy, our server, was extremely attentive. Both are great ambassadors for the restaurant. We will be back soon.

    Overall really good food and has been consistently very good over my several visits. Price points are a bit on the high side, but so are most Napa restaurants. The place is LOUD. If you want to have a quiet conversation, this isn't the place for you. If you want to eat great seafood in a very loud room, then get a platter of oysters and enjoy yourself!!!
