Amazing customer service with amazing food
Food very nice
Unfortunately our service wasn't very good but it needs to be said that we had a new starter and she forgot certain drinks and dishes. It's understandable that we all start somewhere.
The view is great, that would be the main reason to go. Food is ok for the value. Service needs improvement.
Lovely location on the, yes, waterfront. The food and service were good, but music was too loud for me. Still, I would come back.
Beautiful restaurant with perfect food and service. It was outstanding and we loved it to experience it.
We had 2 drinks each a steak and a haloumi burger. Chips were included but had to order a salad to share as no garnish. We had a garlic bread to share and the bill was £100. The waiter was great but for the small steak and a burger it was hugely overpriced and wouldn’t go again. The music was VERY loud as well which isn’t great when having dinner as you can’t hear each other
I had an absolutely lovely experience at Waterfront. The Manager was great, he corrected all mistakes, which were minors. Overall lovely restaurant, good service and great view. Would definitely return as well as recommend.
Enjoyed our first time there the waitress was very helpful and efficient. Will be back .......Having a children menu would be helpful as there isn't much choose for children
Worst New Years and an awful experience. Took more than half an hour to get a menu. We paid a deposit for a dinner and no one even served us the whole night. Complete waste of time, and won’t be going back.
Overall, it was poor. Customers complaining left right and centre. Customers waiting on their orders for over an hour. Food not arriving till a dissatisfied amount of time. However the scenery and environment was fabulous. Would much rather prefer staff to be honest with what is happening in the lounge than be telling me and other customers “yes it’s coming”.
Having spoken to the manager prior to arrival and paid a deposit for my reservation, I would’ve expected brilliant service but I’m not impressed.
As a group of 6 we did not have a good level of table service when we had a 5pm late lunch / early dinner. We suspected that it was probably due to the inexperienced waiting staff member we had.
When we pointed out the matter to the manager on duty, he was excellent at his approach in dealing with the matter, he supported his staff whilst acknowledgeing there was an issue, a great skill to have in the service industry, dealing well with customer expectation well as leaving an overall positive impression.
I would recommend the place, as this may have been an isolated issue, as other staff were more attuned to customer standards of table service.
Amazing service, food is delicious and good shisha.
Good food - very odd drinks pricing (2 half pints are cheaper than a pint!) Service is sweet but inexperienced - responses of "I don't know" rather than "I'll find out". More than one piece of crockery/glassware met it's maker whilst we were there and it was pretty dead for a Saturday night. Could not fault the food though. My tip - take your own atmosphere and book for a large group!
Highly recommend eating here. Flawless service! Amazing food. Great value for money.
Nice place on looking over the river. Variety of different food options. Nice ambiance & service good.
Good fun. Cocktails were good. Confusing starter options (pan-Asian vs continental). No dessert menu. But otherwise nice staff and good wine menu. Thanks.
It took us a while to be seated despite a booking and the service was friendly but a bit slow. The food was good, would consider trying it again
Disastrous service, would not recommended for a group at all as they simply cant cope
Great location and friendly staff. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the number of people. It was the World Cup Final and I think there was a big group inside. Outside there weren't that many people but it was difficult to get the attention of staff.
Das Fleisch im Burger hat alt geschmeckt. Wir hatten einen „geschlossenen“ Tisch und hatten keine Möglichkeit unsere Beine unter den Tisch zu tun und mussten sie während des ganzen Abends seitlich lassen
I hadn't taken into account Waterfront is a Shisha Lounge and we were therefore surrounded by the smell of Shisha and cigarettes. It is a wonderful setting and we still enjoyed it as the company was wonderful, but the food was really average, the wine quite expensive for the offering and at one point a waitress virtually through a G&T at the table. Not sure I'll be returning to this particular waterfront setting again, when there are so many other choices in the strip.
Nice restaurant with a casual bar outside and nicely finished interior. Food was good and the service was friendly and quick.
We had a nice evening at the waterfront. The food was delicious and the staff was engaging. If I could have changed anything it would have been the volume of the music in the restaurant. Might have been tied to the outdoor area that was drawing a younger crowd. Would recommend this for a nice dinner with plenty of options for every taste. We will be back
We chose to have a few drinks here and then leave, we decided it wasnt worth paying for dinner due to the awful service. The cocktails were syrupy and the service unprofessional.
They had no information regarding our ‘confirmed‘ Open Table booking. Looked ok, but thats where it ended. Drinks were horrendously over-priced, and to add insult to injury the cocktails were badly made and the wine list is rubbish. Waitress didn’t know how to use a corkscrew. Food was under-cooked, then over-cooked, having been sent back twice. Not exactly what I expected for a £30 steak. Sauces tasted like they came straight from a packet. All in all, probably why the restaurant was empty except for one other table... at least they waived the optional service charge.
Table was reserved for 5 but we turned up as a party of 8. They happily accommodated us and rearranged our seating.
Only 2 waiters for three large groups hence the reason for a 3 star - value! Otherwise fantastic time out.
This is an excellent restaurant with a great atmosphere, excellent service, superb food and we finished off with some cocktails on the terrace. Loved the bar !
