We met some friends for lunch. The service was outstanding and the food was yummy.
The restaurant is beautiful and the setting is out of this world.
I would definitely go back, imagine dinner with the bridge in the background would be a very romantic setting.

We had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time, but about 25 minutes in, one of the managers gave us a glass of Prosecco and then a complimentary appetizer that was very good. Mussels were unevenly heated and the sauce was bland. Dining companion liked her shrimp cocktail and fish. Always a great view.

Brought my wife here for her birthday. We loved most the high end but casual vibe of the restaurant.

The Water Bar remains a favorite of mine, great seafood, fish and oysters. The ambiance is bright and modern, the kitchen is open, therefore no cheating, the service has changed along the years and it seems to me that the staff is renewed frequently, the actual crew is so and so but who cares... Our server walked on my foot and said... "oops!" not "excuse me sir" or " i hope I did not hurt you". The cocktails we ordered did not come, but I am an insistent kind of customer and when they brought the food, I inquired again about the drinks...They were delivered warm and water down, obviously they were ready at the bar and our waiter forgot. Later, one of the rare apparition of our waiter, I wanted him to recommend me something from the desert menu, I said: "perhaps the Mousse au Chocolat ?" and he nicely recommended "the chocolate" rather then "the mousse", great sense of humor or poor understanding of the menu?
Anyway, the view is nice, the people are snob and pretty, everyone text rather than talk so it reduces the noise level that remains quiet intense already. The Steak House next door, same owner is also very nice and the staff is of another level...

Food good, too, bad the wait staff was always trying to take our plates away before we finished. Just a brief pause between bites and both waiter and bus person trying to take plates away. Totally annoying with all the disruption in our conversation....just want to rush you in and out. This isn’t a fast food place...it is a dining experience. I’ve had 3 dinners here in a month, business, date night and friends...similar experience but last night was horrible.

I've been coming to this gem for a few years now. Needless to mention Pete, Rich, Shandal, and Erin are top-notch professionals making this a place I plan on coming back to for years to come. The $1.05 oysters at weekday lunchtime in combination with the service, view, and entrees is something that all should try at least once and in my humble opinion is the best lunchtime value in the bay area. If you are not a 'seafood person' there is always an extremely suitable steak entree that is so good I yearn to come back and try on a recurring basis just to see what they have grilled up. The multiple seafood options (of course) which change weekly (or more) allow for something to scratch your seafood itch. To top off the entire experience, it is a beautifully designed restaurant with a view so close to the bay bridge that your social media friends will be jealous of your photos. The prix fixe menu allows for a culinary adventure and depending on your schedule allows me to occasionally to go through a brute rose, glass of wine, and a dessert wine making it always a memorable experience.

It was a wonderful experience for my girlfriend's birthday.

We definitely felt under-dressed, but our servers were all incredibly friendly and didn't act snobby or judgmental whatsoever - something we've experienced many times before from upscale restaurants.

Highly recommend coming here for special occasions. The Parmesan Fries were unbelievable. UNBELIEVABLE!

A favorite esp for out of town guests. Consistently delicious food including seafood dishes, stellar views of the bay bridge day or night. Rather noisy which makes conversation more challenging. All lovely presentation on each dish.
