   This was our initial visit to Water Grill and it was a very positive experience. Our principal dishes were white sea bass and manila clams. Service was excellent. While this is principally a seafood restaurant, there are some meat alternatives on the menu. A repeat visit is highly likely.

   Fish was over cooked. Paying $54 for a dry halibut was disappointing. Prices seemed high. For a place known for seafood, I was surprised there was not a fresh caught salmon option especially considering it is Cooper river season.

   In this day of high prices and lack of help in the food and beverage industry, Water Grill performed at levels not seen since the pandemic began. Attentive service, menu appropriate to the restaurant's theme and reasonable prices. Ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Lunch was great!

    It was our first time dining here, but thanks to Tic Tok we had to try it! We will definately be back and to may be our new date night destination. We had oysters on the half shell, octopus, halibut cheeks and wedge salad, all were amazing!! Can’t wait to go back and try what we didn’t have room for this time.

    Our first visit. Very much enjoyed the ambiance. Sean was helpful and friendly. The food was at best average. Not much flavor in the scampi and the pasta was almost cold. The Alaskan Wild Cod with soba was nicely prepared, but lacked depth of flavor. We enjoyed our visit and will give it another try, but the chef should up the spices from bland to just right if not wow!

    Order the Chilean sea bass. It was prepared perfectly and had a nice crust to it. Plus, the portion is actually a decent size. I was definitely full when I finished it! Good wine list with domestic and international wine selections. Also, I'd be remiss if I did not mention the octopus appetizer! It was delicious and consisted of a nice, "beefy" tentacle over small white potato chunks and olives. The sauce that accompanied the tentacle was very good and did not detract from the taste. Get it as a starter! Good ambiance, too, that is suitable for a business dinner, date night, or special occasion.

    Had a wonderful experience, it was my husbands birthday. He enjoyed everything from the crab cake appetizer to the king crab legs (which were his absolute favorite) to the rich delicious chocolate cake. Our server was awesome too! Very helpful with the menu and gave great suggestions! We will be back!

    Loved the decor! Loved all of our food—Calamari, oysters, black cod on soba noodles and the bread was so good!! Didn’t see any craft cocktails that appealed to me. The waiter seemed either new or would hold back info from us. When we asked about the sizes of the fresh whole fish he says “they start at 1 pd and umm go higher”. No info on what fish were available that day or what was a good size for anyone asking.

    The tables out in the mall area by the escalators don’t have as good of ambiance as the inside tables. We made reservations more than a week in advance, showed up a little early and felt like we were banished to the worst seats in the house. 3rd time there in the past 3 months and hoping for more. The waiter seemed like he was on some sort of upper (coke?). With that being said, we are always delighted with the food.

    I really wanted to love this place. The restaurant is very large and nicely decorated in an upscale casual way. Started with oysters which were very fresh and nicely presented. For mains, I had the pan roasted wild Alaskan halibut. The fish was cooked perfectly but the sauce was a bit lacking. Much worse however was the accompanying gnocchi which were barely edible, super dense, rubbery and devoid of any flavor. My wife had the shrimp Louie which was very disappointing. The menu says nothing about it being deconstructed and with 2 very large thick pieces of slab bacon, getting it all prepared to eat took quite some time. The salad was also small and would typically contain asparagus spears (those happen to be in peak season right now). I saw lots of good looking sushi showing up at the table next to me. Their prices for sushi seem absurdly high but I'll probably give it another try.

    Water Grill was a revelation. It is a new restaurant in the Bellevue area (open since December 2022), is perfectly situated in Lincoln Square, and the food and service for Mother's Day was outstanding. Water Grill has a broad array of appetizers, soups and salads, and entrees that should appeal to most diners and amply covered our table. The entrees were visually appealing, nicely presented, and tasted great! There were no complaints at all from my Family and we will revisit Water Grill in the future. It is a bit expensive, but for a special occasion it is an excellent choice.

    They did a great job in revamping this space, however, i was very disappointed with my experience there. Firstly the waiter was quite arrogant When we inquired about our drinks as our apps had arrived he was irritated stating the bar was backed up. I understand short staffing but his attitude was extremely rude. My husband got the cioppino and it was mostly mussels which were not even in the description. My halibut was lacking flavor as was the sauce that was poured over it.

    Food was excellent! Our server was absolutely not interested in providing adequate service. He couldn’t care less about our table. He had no problem taking pictures and pandering to the table next to us, but checked on us minimally. My party and I were ready to have additional after dinner cocktails, but decided to go elsewhere to get decent customer service. The server single-handedly caused the of our business.

    Thoroughly enjoyed this new seafood place in town. Halibut was perfect as were the oysters and fish tacos. We did wait quite a long time for service, but maybe they're still working things out. We visited on a Sunday evening.

    Excellent fresh seafood. My bouillabaisse was the equal of the best I have had, and my wife's halibut was perfect and perfectly prepared. Although we didn't try it, the raw bar served a spectacular selection of oysters, and it seemed to be the center of attention the evening we came to dinner.
