From the time we walked in to the time we left we felt at home.. The waiter and the chef were so knowledgeable about the food, it was wonderful. I wasn't sure how I was going to eat all the food from the prefixed menu, but Oh well, Dinner for the next night... All in our experience was great, I highly recommend this place.

If a hidden gem was a person…. let me tell you, my fingers were crossed hoping this spot would deliver. I was totally blown away by the coziness of the dining area along with the humor and professionalism of the host. The food was just amazing, infused with so much flavor. The timing between each course was on par with what I expected at a fine restaurant. “Water for Chocolate” is definitely a must for me. Thank you for the experience.

We live in Colorado, but have family in Bmore. Our visits always include a meal at Water for Chocolate. Without a doubt, our favorite restaurant. Chef Sean and his team put together beautiful and tasty plates, the ambience of the restaurant is lovely. I am a vegetarian and love this spot, my partner eats meat and it's his favorite too. Don't hesitate and book for brunch on the weekends, or dinner any night.

Water for Chocolate was fantastic, as always. Did the prix fix dinner for two and it was absolutely phenomenal. Took a date who had lived in Baltimore for about a year and a half and she told me that this was hands down the best restaurant she has been to since being in the city. Big love to Chef Sean Guy and our server Devante (sorry if I misremembered your name!). Highly recommend to anyone who likes great food and great people.

Our compliments to Chef Sean Guy and his team for a stellar brunch! On the sweet side: decadent french toast with creme anglaise, sweet potato bread pudding (!), and a very chocolatey brownie (pictured.) On the savory side: a pulled pork quesadilla in huge portions, salmon belly tacos with a perfectly dressed side salad, and the blue ribbon dish for me: jerk duck confit (!) with a sweet plantain waffle, poached egg, and blueberry compote. Y'all. A five star flavor journey in an intimate space with a kind team pouring love into their food. I can't wait to visit again!

This was my first time going to brunch at Water for Chocolate. I'd previously been for dinner which was amazing. My birthday brunch celebration was also SPECTACULAR! The service is incredible with patient and knowledgable servers who've actually tried everything on the menu and can describe the preparation of the entrees as well as the taste to a great degree--this is impressive, AND appreciated. The food is so delicious, it's difficult to describe. Just the right amount of sweet and savory (for brunch) and you can tell that it has been prepared by a skilled Chef who knows how to combine flavor and seasoning well. Portions are great. Everything is fresh, nothing is ever "mushy" weather it's mashed potatoes or shrimp and grits, Water for Chocolate is top tier when it comes to food preparation and presentation. I'll definitely be back again.

Absolutely amazing experience. Very intimate space and the food was 10/10. Also very reasonable prices for the quality of food received . I would definitely want to come here often. I order the chefs cut, jalepeno cornbread, French toast, and jerk duck entree. The flavors of every dish was immaculate.

Carolyn, the fill-in hostess, was sunny, engaging, and attentive. The food was exquisite. Each bite was perfectly balanced with salt, fat, and acid. The dishes were fancy but still familiar--upscale Sunday dinner at Nana's. The dope juice was absolutely dope and a must-have experience (we bought a carafe to go!). We were looking for a special place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and could not have lucked up on a better place. It's an 11/10 will recommend.

This was my 1st dining here and overall I really liked the relaxed environment. Everyone was very friendly. The relaxed atmosphere reminded me of dining in Europe. Everyone takes their time and it’s not a rushed environment and I really enjoyed that. If you are in a rush this probably isn’t the restaurant for you. The vibe is very chill. Now on to the food. I left feeling like a stuffed turkey. They food was good and we ate so much. I would recommend the French toast and the crab quesadilla. The shrimp and grits were cool. I liked that the quesadilla came with rice and it was kind of sweet which balanced out the savory taste of the quesadillas. I would say the food is well balanced. The French toast were like French toast sticks they weren’t overly sweet which is great. It comes with a sauce on the side which was really good. I would definitely dine again for brunch. And the drinks are good I got the guava Bellini and we also go the Cesar salad that was pretty good. Oh and the corn bread was pretty good

I have seen and read about Water for Chocolate LLC, so I decided to make reservations for my birthday. I enjoyed myself along with my daughter. The waitress was polite, professional, and attentive. It was a little smaller on the inside than I thought it would be, but perfect for special occasions( anniversary, proposal, birthdays ect..) Truly a dining experience, completely satisfied!!

My family and I couldn't decide what we wanted, so we ordered half the menu. We created our own chef tasting, and it was the best decision! Everything was amazing. We had to roll ourselves out of the restaurant, but it was worth it.

This was my first time dining at WFC but it won’t be my last. The greeting we received from Deonte upon entering the restaurant set the bar high and it was continuously raised throughout the evening. The menu has a lot of great options to choose from. As a selective eater, I took a chance with trying new foods and I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was, thanks Sean. The vibe of the restaurant is amazing!

We loved our experience at Water for Chocolate! My only comment/suggestion would be to print out menus so the older, less technologically-savvy folks aren't forced to navigate a QR code and small-print PDF. I understand that this might mean printing daily menus but even having a few printed copies on hand would be better than staring at a screen. Otherwise, everything was delicious and fabulous and I'm so glad we chose Water for Chocolate for our celebration!

Our experience at WfC was phenomenal. I love its cozy atmosphere. It was quiet enough to have a conversation. AND THE FOOD!!!!! We got the prix fixe menu with the added amuse bouch(sp?) and desert. Everything was delicious and unique. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable.

My wife and kids went to W4C for an early Mother’s Day brunch. We all liked the intimate setting, soulful music, and ambiance. Service was great, and the food was amazing. Even the presentation of the water was tasteful (mint and lemon). We will definitely return.

The ambiance was lovely! I love the decor and vibe. Really enjoyed the bbq shrimp and grits. The jerk duck was delicious.really challenged our pallet! I am a huge water drinker and the mint and lemon water was refreshing and a nice touch ! I have been raving to everyone about the ding experience at Water for Chocolate!
