For Sunday Buffet Brunch, lots of choices. Shrimp were overcooked, soft and mushy and the beef was undercooked and somewhat flavorless. Those aside, things were very good. Nice extra touches especially the homemade pastas. Surprising at a lack of omelettes to order but there were great eggs Benedict (nice touch with a slice of tomato in addition to ham). Service, for our table, was a bit off. Had to ask for beverages repeatedly but I didn't notice that at other stations. I still think that Simm's Steakhouse has the best such Sunday buffet in Denver but this one is a good number 2.
Great neighborhood spot. Always good food and a good crowd.
Not great. Not bad. This place used to be so much better.
Our table was ready when we arrived and the server was on the spot to take drink orders. The food was excellent; the lamb was perfectly prepared, the lasagna a big hit and the seafood Cioppino fabulous. It is loud so not the best place if you are a group and want to converse with someone across the table from you.
The valet parking is free and very important as there is no parking around Gaylord St.
Washington Park Grille is always just right. Perfect for meeting a friend or a business associate.
Used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but it’s changed. The food was mediocre, the server put in the wrong item for my order (she offered to fix it but who wants to do that when everyone is halfway through their meals?), it was overly crowded and noisy. What happened to the casual elegance? It’s more of a pub, bar, live music feel now.
Amazing place and staff, one of the best restaurants in Denver
We live in Denver part time. We always try to go to Washington Park Grille at least once, whenever we ate in town. It has been there for many years, and is a local favorite. I had a delicious kale salad with grilled salmon. One member of our party was vegetarian, and loved his dish. We always enjoy our food at the WPG.
This mainstay on Gaylord Street consistently delivers great food and professional service. I have never been disappointed.
Normally I really like the food here, but this time we went to brunch to celebrate 3 birthdays. One of us got the buffet and enjoyed it, but the rest of us ordered off the brunch menu and weren't very impressed. Two had the turkey sandwich - one liked it, one said it was just ok. I had the veggie benedict -- the whites of the eggs were runny and the hollandaise sauce was skimpy and bland. I think the moral of the story is: just spring for the buffet.
Went down to old Gaylord, I looked at my husband and said it's been along time since we've eaten there let's give it a try. It was by far the best brunch I've had in many many years.
I chose the birthday brunch and my husband chose the lobster sandwich. Everything was so great and fresh and the variety of different food groups it was amazing will the manager was super friendly but I loved my waitress Jamie Malloy..She is the cutest damn thing and spot on!
I was so happy with her, my service and the bloody Mary's probably one of the best that I've had in town in a really long time! I WOULD Definitely go back and I can't wait to my daughter comes home so I can take her there! Thanks to you all for making it a very fun day at the grill.
We had a family gathering at Washington Park Grill. I was very impressed with the food! I want to try everything on the menu! Holy cow! I’ll have to come back. Great neighborhood place in a trendy area! Come! You won’t be dissapointed!
WE had a great time. sat outside. GF menu is amazing. would go again!
Good food, but waited too long for water (asked three times!) and we couldn't watch Sunday Night Football outside.
This is one of my favorite brunch spots however yesterday's service was awful. The waitress didnt even seem to know our table was hers. We had to constantly flag her down for drinks, for our check, for our receipt, everything. It was the worst service I've ever had at the Washington Park Grille. If I return I will request not being seated in her area.
Great value and comfortable surroundings with terrific employees.
The noise from children was very disturbing. First time, won’t be back.
Been going to Washington Park Grill for at least 20 years. It never disappoints.
Wash park grille is a great go to for our group that comes from all sides of town. Great food great service
Sat outside with a great glass of wine and ordered the tuna salad. Awesome!!
Perfect atmosphere to meet an old friend and catchup. Our server was courteous and attentive when we needed her to be. Lunch was delicious and the outdoor seating was fabulous. Truly a neighborhood find!
I plan to come back in the evening with friends to enjoy dinner and maybe treat myself to desert, too.
Superb brunch. Best brunch food ever, good variety, everything hot and fresh. Chocolate fountain!
Appetizers are also excellent
We had a lovely dinner a few days ago at WPG. I loved the wasabi pea tuna with sauces. It was excellent!
Excellent food; excellent service - outstanding in every way
Chicken Piccata was delicious! Would highly recommend this place.
The food and ambience were excellent, as always. Our waiter was just ok-kind of flat, not remembering things we just told him.
Service was quite good; food was okay. Nice enough joint for an early dinner or brunch.
Appetizer, wine and chicken piccata were awesome, pork chop was dry. Service was good. Nice outdoor seating
Mediocre, 80s-style food and menu. Lots of better restaurants in Denver.
A very good neighborhood restaurant. Reliable with good food and good service. Some outdoor seating and live music.
First time for 2 of us for a birthday lunch. I ordered a medium cooked burger and it was well done, no pink to it. The meat had no seasoning and was dry. With our own chatting distraction I failed to notice I was to select a cheese and I wasn’t asked. I added avocado and sub’d sweet potato fries for one order. Pricey for what was served, 2 x burger/fries and a small slice of cheesecake. Waiter selected a 20% tip before I signed; left as is because I know they get low pay = $48.xx. Bad first impression.
Great food, great experience, great time! We had a great server and an amazing time! Will be going back
Our server, Chris, was OUTSTANDING!!! We celebrated my husband's birthday with our adult children and their spouses and we had a fabulous dinner and evening!! We will indeed come back!
Went there for happy hour but my fav thing on the menu is the naked zoodle pasta. To. Die. For.
Made a reservation for a casual business dinner. Good ambiance, excellent and very attentive wait staff. I had the Wasabi seared ahi tuna and it was exceptional. My associates also thoroughly enjoyed their pasta dishes as well. Would definitely recommend.
Always enjoy my meal at Wash Park Grill. The atmosphere is a little noisy but not too bad. They have a great Happy Hour.
I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 b/c one of our dinners (salmon) was not cooked as ordered. The other 2 were excellent. The waiter comped the salmon dinner which helped.
I had shrimp ceviche with peaches & chicken enchiladas on avocado- both were delicious.
We ate inside which was very noisy, even in a corner.
very nice menu. I'll be back
We went to the Sunday Brunch. It was all yummy. Too many dishes to taste them all. The Bottomless mimosas were excellent.
Love WPG. However, would not order the lasagna again. Had more spinach in it than pasta, it seemed. Not worth the $19.
Great selection of menu choices. Friendly, efficient wait staff. Clean and cheery interior. We will definitely come back!
