Came for Restaurant Week! Service was somewhat slow as it was busy. My first course on the restaurant week menu was not served warm. Good was pretty decent however.
We arrived esrlier than our reservation butcwere able to be seated. We ate off the special 5280 menu which was very good. The selections were plentiful. We had a great meal and will be back.
I don't know if it was because it was restaurant week, but this was a terrible service experience. Food was good enough. But, they tried to give our reservation away, they brought dessert out at the beginning of the meal, there was a language barrier with the manager, and overall it was really slow service on a super busy night.
Such a nice brunch with a very wide variety of selections that were delicious! We really missed the donuts that were always a favorite! The servers were delightful and the atmosphere was great!
Great food in a really fun environment. A fantastic Sunday Brunch with really nice variety of tasty dishes. Amazing value.
Food and service was great. We were disappointed that there was no valet parking when it was stated that there was on their website.
What a wonderful, warm place! Can't wait to go back.
server was kind, courteous and efficient. food was delicious, she promptly brought drinks, break and checked on us just the correct amount of times.
Ambiance and atmosphere were great. Very cool spot in Wash Park. Had a reservation for 8:45pm for Valentine’s Day and it was very busy so we had to wait about 40ish minutes so not great but understandable. Service was decent. It was very busy and they were running around so easy to get sidetracked with things. Food was good. Oysters, lamb, pasta, all great options. 3.8/5 rating.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that we had reservations for 8:30 and had to wait till 9:00 to be seated. The service and food were outstanding and I would definitely come here again.
We arrived shortly before our reservation, and due to it being Valentines Day it was a mad house. We weren’t able to stand in at location without being in the way of staff or other patrons.
Fortunately our table was far enough from the chaos, so we were able to enjoy the excellent food.
We were sat an hour late and they were sold out of several items from the special Valentine’s Day menu.
Had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. The steaks were very fatty and 1 of the steaks came out medium rare instead of medium well. It was a bit overpriced for what we got. Probably won't go back.
Wonderful ambiance for checking out some music in the lounge area. Wasn't too loud at all, could still have a quiet conversation with friends during dinner. The food was delicous and very resonably priced. Would definitely visit again!
The food has become just average. I had a Caesar Salad and had to ask for additional dressing, and I use very little dressing. Crab cakes were mostly filler. Waitress was not very attentive didn’t even ask how our meals were. Ben the sam e menu now for quite some time.
The food was very tasty. Service was on the slow side. The waitress wasn't very attentive at all.
Great brunch! The buffet has something for everyone!
After searching out the area to catch up with out of town friends we are so glad to have found this locale!.
Menu was very creative, with a mix of game and more mainstream dinners.
One minor failure was the chicken appetizer skewers came out after the main course. We could handle it this time but its still a miss on performance.
Our server missed charging us the 2 cokes and we had a separate bill for that in the end, strange but ok , she handled it with her dignity in tack
We will return! Bison ribs , great call
Food was really good and we had a great overall experience. I do wish they provided a few more vegetarian options on their menu.
What a delightful place for dinner! The Italian Campanelle offered a very tasty, satisfying pasta. The venue decor facilitated both quiet conversation (at least in the large section where we sat) and more group socializing in the bar in another, separate section. In short, good food, appealing decor, and seating options make the Wash Park Grille an excellent place for dinner.
Really nice dinner. All of our entrees were well prepared and very tasty. Service very attentive.
Love this cozy neighborhood spot. Just the right size, great food, service and ambiance.
Food was good but service was very poor. Server was no where to be found during our meal. She did not check back to mark sure our meal was okay, did not offer us a second drink and only showed up when it was time to pay the check.
Love Wash Park Grille. Only feedback I have is our server was at our table way to often...
The quality of the food was simply excellent tonight. Service was top rate and the dining atmosphere was calm and quiet. They have stepped up their game in recent years.
We like the Wash Park Grille. The food is always good. If you haven't tried it, we recommend you do!
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Charcuterie was wonderful and the scallops and pork chop did not disappoint. Fun drink menu and outstanding service! We will be back!
When you order a turkey Panino , the menu should state that it’s processed dark meat turkey with a strong taste. Typically places that say turkey sandwich, it’s always white meat turkey.
Just a great "local" place though I'd surely drive miles and miles to come here. Nightly specials, fabulous Sunday buffet brunch (or menu), great bar and all at very good value-for-money. In a changing city, some better, some not, it's great that Wash Park Grille, while looking up-to-date, is just the same as it always was.
We went on Sunday and enjoyed the excellent Sunday brunch buffet. The food was delicious and the service was terrific! I would highly recommend Wash Park Grille as a nice place to take friends/family for a Sunday brunch.
Great, friendly and helpful host! Server was also great! Really enjoyed our brunch!
Bison ribs were a bit flavorless and pricey. The paccheri were like rock: terribly underdone.
Never disappointed at Wash Park Grill. It's our favourite neighborhood restaurant.
We dined on a Wednesday night, which is 1/2 price select bottles of wine and 1/2 off all appetizers. Such a great deal. We were not in the mood for the appetizers. We had a caesar salad and french onion soup. The soup was okay, it needed more of a beef/onion flavor to the broth and salt. We had the lobster/shrimp/black and white pasta dish and the pork chop. Both were good! Reasonable wine bottle prices. I wish they had more pasta dishes on the menu.
Good experience as usual. I have been coming here for almost 15 years
We went to a nearby restaurant where we were told there would be a 45 minute wait. We decided to try the Wash Park Grill. We immediately got a table. They had a sumptuous buffet. The buffet was as I've seen in Europe. An assortment of cheeses, crudite, high quality lox. They had lobster mac (yum cubed), pizza, bennies, rancheros, made to order omelets, 3 cakes. Includes some drinks, soft and coffee were our choice. We could have ordered from their brunch menu. Who needs a 45 minute wait for lesser quality food? Wait staff super efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.
We really love this place, and we wanted to make it one of our regular haunts since we live in the neighborhood. The food is great, the ambiance is great. However, the service is lacking. We've been there several times and the service is consistently fair. Not bad. Just fair. I don't want to go into detail or name names because we know how hard everyone works, and we really do like the place. I'm sure we'll return...just not right away. We'll try a few other places.
I met a friend for dinner and we have a wonderful time. Everything was right this particular evening.
Thank you for the good food and great service.
The service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive. I went on Sunday night for the Prime Rib Special. It was good but not the traditional preparation for prime rib. The meat was seared but tasted very good.
Enjoyed our night here very much. Only problem was they state there is valet parking, but it didn't work well. Valet is for the whole block and no one was there. They need more valet parkers, as parking is extremely difficult.
