This is deceiving because most people use this as reservation site to secure seats at certain time. When we arrived they said we didnt have reservations and it was just courtesy call ahead, so anyone who walked in before us would get seated first. Needless to say we waited 40 minutes past the time we "thought" was our reservation. On another note the manager was a jerk, and didnt care about his customers, he had total attitude about the situation when we confronted him about advertising like you can make legit reservations. Once seated it was very loud in the room, the counter around grill was dirty with food and sticky substance, as well as left over food chunks on the cooking surface from previous patrons. Silverware had dried rice on it, and it took forever to get new silverware. Drinks finally arrived and we were short two, which took another 10 minutes to get. Now on to soup...soup came out nice and hot but it was broth with one piece of onion string and no mushrooms. Its "onion soup" with onions, mushrooms in it....well supposed to be. Now salad time....drenched in so mu h dressing it was completely soggy, and most of the lettuce was brown and wilted, not edible, definitely not something you serve. As I sat there disgusted over my salad I see something drip from vent hood onto my plate...disgusting old oil from pan above!!! So disgusting, completely unsanitary, how long was this pan collecting old grease? Just drop after drop onto my plate and table. Manager and waitress called over, waitress is mortified, manager could care less, says " oh we will change the drip pan ok." Our reply was health dept will be contacted, he said " not necessary it's ok we are changing it." He then walks away, a guy comes with dirty step stool pills overflowing stinky pan of grease down, dripping it all over grill cooktop. At this point we are all in complete shock at how they dont care about such a disgusting health hazard!! Health Dept contacted!!

Call ahead doesn’t really mean anything but I kind of knew that. The worst part was once we were seated, we saw NO ONE for almost 20 min and the only reason we saw someone at that point was because they table next to us got seated and immediately someone was taking their drink orders and we got that servers attention and asked why we hadn’t been helped. She said she would go find out. It was another 4 or 5 min before our server finally came out and said it wasn’t her fault and had a TERRIBLE attitude about it. Because we were a group of 6, the gratuity had already been added or I wouldn’t have left our server anything because we saw her a total of 3 times during our hour long meal. We were all out of our drinks at one point and she said she would be right back and came back 5 min later, no apology no nothing, just a bad attitude. It ruined our sons birthday dinner unfortunately.

This was my first time dining here and it was fantastic. People were so friendly and they made you feel so welcomed. I enjoyed everything about it.

It wasn’t good nor was it bad but for expensive as it is and what you get is a large plate of bland rice not worth it... they charge $15.95 for a kids plate.... crazy

Felt very rushed to eat. My order was mixed up with someone elses, but the cook fixed it. Steak was hard as a rock, could not eat it.

Saved us a little time to use the opentable. The restaurant was short staffed, so it took a while to get drinks and orders take . Once we ordered, the food was cooked quickly. Some upgrades need to be made to their restrooms.

The reservation was pointless. They took your name down when you got there just as if you were a walk in. Still had a 45 minute wait. Many customers complained about the same thing.

Met friends for sushi. Patrick gave us great service and recommendations from the menu. Food was delicious. Drinks from the bar were perfect. It was a wonderful night!

Food is always good and quantity is more than enough. Service is generally good, they are just always very busy so it's understandable they are stretched a little at times. The cooks are always in good spirits and make the experience more lively. Overall, definitely reccomend, we come here regularly.

Food, great. Wait time was outrageous, 1hr 44min to be seated, 30 min from finishing salad to waiting on cook. And how do you run out of ginger sauce? Fortunately my husband got up and got some from another cook. Wasabi should be thinking of updating, expanding and upgrading their chairs and all too.

Made an online reservation the day before, but received message that they do call ahead seating. Called 2 hours before initial online reservation time, and was told we would be put at the top of the list when we got there. Waited 45 mins after reservation time. Hostess screamed names at the top of her lungs throughout night.. could probably use a paging system or some other way to assign tables that wasn’t so unsettling.
Asked server to please hold the bacon in the rice for our party of 3, she said to tell chef. We told the chef, he said ok.. ended up with bacon in all of our rice. I understand it was a mistake, but I don’t eat meat, so it was annoying to pick the bacon out. I ordered the vegetables.. chef forgot about the order until he was done with everything else and had started to clean the grill. He then saw the vegetables in the bowl and apologized and made them. Again, I understand a mistake, so it was fine

It was so convenient! We walked right in and was seated at the sushi bar because we had call ahead. Not sure what would happen if we wanted habachi. The sushi was the best I've had in the area. I've been to several where the food was great but the service sucked, or the service was great but the food was terrible. I asked the sushi chef to be creative with my rolls and he certainly did a spectacular job nailing the flavors I love. Marcus was great at hearing what I wanted.

We made reservation because we knew it would be busy, It was also our wedding anniversary. The sad part is the our cook was new, it took us forever to get our food. We had a little girl at out table and he didn't do anything, no show, no jokes, no fire of any kind. The only show we got was from the other tables. We had to ask for sauce and after he filled our sauce dishes he said that was all he had. We had to get the waitress to get us sauce. We ordered a appetizer that came after we had our soup and salad. We love coming to Wasabi we just wasn't thrilled this time.

Waited even with reservations. Once sitted did see any servers for about 10 mins. Food took about 45-1 hour. Kids dishes did come out until almost 15-20 after adult meals. Salads were never brought out to us.

Mike has been the best cook on numerous times. He doesnt drench the food in oil! The wait was over an hour from our open table time at the door. Definitely understaffed at times.

We waited over 2 hours after checking in with call ahead seating. The noise level was very high and the waiting area extremely chaotic! There is no way except screaming a parties name to let you know it's your turn to be seated. Our waitress was very polite, but we could barely hear what she was saying to us. The chef was funny and the food was good. Overall, I've had much better experiences at this same location. Maybe just a very busy night, but we don't plan on returning any time soon.

We've passed this place a lot and it's always crowded, we've seen the reviews and decided it best to make reservations. We're glad we did. The wait can be long, but the experience was worth it.

The place was still crowded, but we got private seating and all we had to deal with was weaving through the crowd to get to our seats. The server was attentive and made suggestions that helped us with the order.

Overall, the food was excellent and we enjoyed the experience. That said, we'll be sure to only go when the crowds are light

The reservation was set for 8:15. The family was there at 8 pm just to be on time. We did not get sto ages until 8:45 and they weren’t even busy. The sever was slow and forgot drink orders and did not bring drink refills unless we asked another server. The food and chef were awesome.... maybe it was just a bad night, sometimes things just don’t click and I’ll chalk it up to that.

Didn't like the ambiance, didn't love my food, didn't love the service. Very loud. Indifferent, bored hostess. Server pestered us constantly; it was impossible to carry on a conversation with my guest. it's a one-plate meal; I don't understand why the undertrained server has to ask us half a dozen times if we need anything, yet doesn't notice that our water glasses are empty. Irritating! Food OK but quite salty, I went through a couple of glasses of water with more at home later. Doesn't really feel like a $30/person dinner, more like $10 takeout. Enormous quantities of rice dumped on my plate even though I said I didn't want so much rice. I'd have preferred more veggies over what looked like more than a quart of rice on my plate (seriously, my ordered food had to be split onto another dinner plate because there's so much rice piled up). The bacon in the fried rice seemed a bit gamey; if I ever return I'd ask for no bacon in my rice. Cook was competent. Definitely not the place to go if you want a quiet dinner with a friend. Loud drumming for a birthday group next to us as well. Better suited to a group/party vibe. Might be better on the sushi side instead of the grill side.

This has gone downhill over the past year.
Food quality has decreased with a lot of fat in meat including bacon in rice.
Chef quality was fair but could hardly hear him and the attendant as the place was the loudest I've ever heard...no one could talk in a conversation, all yelling.
Manager was Debbie downer yet again as a customer presented the restaurant her daughter's birthday very respectfully and better than what employees could do...and he talks to her afterwards in the middle of the place, doesn't even pull her aside quietly.
Yokoso is winning the battle, Wasabi...time to get back to what you used to be before we come back.

When I first arrived at the restraunt we had to wait several minutes before the hostess appeared at the front counter. After being seated we waited 45 minutes for our chef to arrive at our table just to be unimpressed by the lack of entertainment. There was no show and an unacceptable wait. This is a frequent dinner stop for me and my friends but I am concerned that the quality of service has declined.
