   We had a “ladies’ lunch” for 8. Server was very patient with us and did a great job of answering questions and explaining dishes. We stayed and visited for a long time and seemed okay. Food was excellent and many had boxes to go from the very ample portions.

   Restaurant was clean, employees friendly and food was tasty. It was Valentine’s Day’s so the kitchen was busy but they did a great job!

   Food was delicious. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had!!! Can’t wait to go back.

   Sat outside on the patio for a Saturday dinner. The new location has a very nice ambiance to it both inside and out. The patio table was missing place settings and we eventually had to ask for those when our food came out. Shrimp rangoon was light on the stuffing, but devoured by the kids. Rolls were tasty in general but sometimes with muddled flavors. Besides the classic California, the other table favorite was the Marilyn Monroll (Crunchy spicy tuna, spicy salmon, avocado; topped w. seared white tuna and garlic sambal sauce). Salmon sashimi was very good. Kids crispy chicken was also a big hit.

   We were grateful that they were still serving food at 9:00 PM. The service was great in spite of the fact that they were closing soon. The food is always good here. I would recommend to anyone visiting Ames. Also they have outside seating in the summer.

   First time at this wasabi. Nice surroundings, excellent waitress, very helpful and honest about food we were considering. I am very familiar with their menu as I have dined at their other locations many times. Never had a bad time. They also are very community minded. They supplied food for the blank park zoo annual event and it was just as good there. I definitely recommend them.

   The cup of Tom Yum soup had one shrimp, one scallop, and one mussel for $11. It was so spicy that you had to have a sip of water after each spoonful. I drank two glasses just to get the hot stuff down. They also don't offer a military discount so I won't be back.

    Wasabi is always a great choice for a nice dinner out. We shared the Thunder roll, Michael’s roll (a special for Feb.) and the Kimchi Pork fried rice. Everything was great!
