We showed up 15 minutes before our reservation time, and never got as far as talking to the hostess. The lobby was crowded with other reservations from hours previous and walk-ins. Whoever the hostess was never came to the front in the hour we stood there. Nobody was sat while we stood there. There were waitstaff cashing out tables, but not one person addressed the crowd. They didn't have a system in place to manage their influx load. They should have sat reservations only--that's why people make reservations--and turned the rest of the crowd away or offered carry out. If you're understaffed, short staffed, or overwhelmed that's all the more reason to adhere to a reservation status. Get organized, because all you're going to do is turn-off customers to coming back. We would understand being turned away for not having a reservation. We dont understand why you would have a reservation system and not use it.

If I could give zero stars I would. Made a reservation for 8 people for mother days to get there and find out they were HOURS behind. Why they would continue to take walk ins when they have tons of reservations makes zero sense. This place is trash & absolutely ruined Mother’s Day for my family because we had to scramble to find another place to accommodate us for dinner.

I made a reservation for Mother's Day at 5:00. When we arrived there were people waiting everywhere. The 3:00 reservations had not even been seated yet. The host was writing names down on small receipt paper and it did not seem very clean. We left and will never be back.

We waited an hour and a half past our reservation time. The restaurant was severely understaffed on one of the biggest restaurant days of the year. They were totally unprepared for the number of people who were there. The restaurant was quite chaotic and they couldn't quite figure out how to seat people and keep track of reservations. Also, the restaurant was quite dirty.

Open Table took our reservation weeks in advance, but the restaurant was not prepared for our arrival. Our reservation was at 1pm, we were sat at 1:20pm, and didn’t receive our food until 3:10pm. The restaurant did not have the staff to handle our reservation in addition to the many walk-ins that occurred during the time of our reservation. The wait staff did a great job but management was unwilling and unable to serve the number of customers they were able to handle with the staff on hand. When we let the manager know our concerns he suggested that we not tip our waitress instead of making a separate adjustment to our bill. We were 100% unhappy with the handling of our occasion today (aside from our very nice weightier) Would NOT recommend visiting Wasabi.

Made a reservation which was available and was turned away as they said reservations weren’t valid due to sweetest day . Completely unacceptable . Who ever the manager is should’ve taken all reservations off open table to avoid this problem instead just allowed reservations to be made and then didn’t honor once we arrived .

Decided on this location for a birthday dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food and the fun the cook had while cooking the food in front of all of us. Its too bad that COVID regulations take away from it some though. Service otherwise was not all that great. Waited basically until end of dinner to receive any type of refills. Bill had a few extras on it but that was fixed. I really shouldn't have to question if the server billed us correctly. Either way overall was pleased with the dinner and look forward to returning.

If I could give no stars I would. The service was horrible. Food was way to salty and too much soy sauce! The server was never there had to fluids to replenish thirst during or after meal. Just will NOT return ever. Please do yourself a favor and find another spot.

The food was great! The chef was friendly and talented. The server was mediocre. We had a group of 6 people and we were seated at the hibachi table with 2 other diners. There was no social distancing between the 2 groups. We requested another table and they did move us. I was really surprised that during this pandemic they didn’t understand why we were not willing to sit with strangers.

Cleanliness was awful. I feel really bad because it used to be a place I went to a lot, but now it's super run down and gross. Crumbs of food were all over the hibachi grille before the chef came out, not acceptable. There was also exposed wires hanging over the bar. Floor was completely filthy, and it looks likes no one has cleaned them or the windows in the past couple of years. Unfortunate turn for a former favorite restaurant.

The service was terrible. We made a 9pm reservation we got seated at 9:25. They were just calling random people not going by check in or reservations. Once seated The waitress didnt come take our drink orders til 10:05. The cook came at 10:47. Thank god we didn't have other plans. We didnt leave til a quarter til 12 smh. No apology for the disorganization, Watered down drinks or poor service. We've been here before and the service was much better. Thank God the food was good. Not sure if we will return.

We took our children here for the experience and food; and they did not disappoint...the kids LOVED everything from the cooking ‘show’ to the food! Also, both of our children have seafood allergies and they made arrangements to ensure this was addressed. We will definitely return, everything was great!

We attempted to eat here for my daughters birthday. Even with having a reservation, we waited 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited another 15 without being greeted by waitstaff.
