Cook was great. Otherwise horrible service. Place was filthy.
Chef was great. Food was great. Restaurant was very dirty
Poor Experience to have a Reservation
Terrible service. Was not prepared for Valentine’s Day, lacked management and control. Did a poor job of booking tables. People waited almost two hours after there booked time.
Terrible service...restaurant was nasty, dirty and was practicing no social distancing. We walked out on Valentines Day
The said they could take our reservation for whatever reason. Wayyyy too many people inside. No organization. Waited about an hour And the chef never came out. Paid for our drinks and left
Clean, spaced out very well, great service as always!
Excellent service, I love all the employees, I go here at least once a week
Made a reservation which was available and was turned away as they said reservations weren’t valid due to sweetest day . Completely unacceptable . Who ever the manager is should’ve taken all reservations off open table to avoid this problem instead just allowed reservations to be made and then didn’t honor once we arrived .
The service was quick and friendly. The chefs were so fun and entertaining! And, of course, the food was amazing!
Tried for the first time - found it to be older place, appeared very tired. Not a high end Hibachi place. No hostess at welcome, seems most is take out.
Decided on this location for a birthday dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food and the fun the cook had while cooking the food in front of all of us. Its too bad that COVID regulations take away from it some though. Service otherwise was not all that great. Waited basically until end of dinner to receive any type of refills. Bill had a few extras on it but that was fixed. I really shouldn't have to question if the server billed us correctly.
Either way overall was pleased with the dinner and look forward to returning.
If I could give no stars I would. The service was horrible. Food was way to salty and too much soy sauce! The server was never there had to fluids to replenish thirst during or after meal. Just will NOT return ever. Please do yourself a favor and find another spot.
The food was great! The chef was friendly and talented. The server was mediocre. We had a group of 6 people and we were seated at the hibachi table with 2 other diners. There was no social distancing between the 2 groups. We requested another table and they did move us. I was really surprised that during this pandemic they didn’t understand why we were not willing to sit with strangers.
I had to wait for half a hour for a table, the waiter was rude, it was poor food and service
The food was great, chef was entertaining.
Cleanliness was awful. I feel really bad because it used to be a place I went to a lot, but now it's super run down and gross. Crumbs of food were all over the hibachi grille before the chef came out, not acceptable. There was also exposed wires hanging over the bar. Floor was completely filthy, and it looks likes no one has cleaned them or the windows in the past couple of years. Unfortunate turn for a former favorite restaurant.
We had appetizers. Then the chef presented the beautiful show of cutting and slicing the meat and the vegtables. The soup and salad and green tea where also excellent.
It’s okay. Service wasn’t great the table I had. Food was pretty good and that most important to me.
Service was horrible, sat for an hour before chief arrived and we were there at 430pm. restaurant was dirty, food still left on table grill from previous guests. My friend asked for a knife and was brought a dirty one.
We had reservations and waited extra time; I’ve considered that it was Valentines Day weekend...still longer than expected
The service was terrible. We made a 9pm reservation we got seated at 9:25. They were just calling random people not going by check in or reservations. Once seated The waitress didnt come take our drink orders til 10:05. The cook came at 10:47. Thank god we didn't have other plans. We didnt leave til a quarter til 12 smh. No apology for the disorganization, Watered down drinks or poor service. We've been here before and the service was much better. Thank God the food was good. Not sure if we will return.
They had no recollection of our reservation for Valentine’s Day. Extremely unorganized and slow.
Reserved a table for 2 at Wasabi for Valentines Day and there were 40 people at the door when we arrived, no one working at the bar in the waiting area. We left and went elsewhere
The waiter was not attentive, left drinks empty for more then 20 minutes until we got up & asked for a refill ourselves and the chef over cooked all the food. Got egg shells in the rice. Asked for medium filet and got well done. Cooked the shrimp too long and my husbands lobster was dry.
We took our children here for the experience and food; and they did not disappoint...the kids LOVED everything from the cooking ‘show’ to the food! Also, both of our children have seafood allergies and they made arrangements to ensure this was addressed. We will definitely return, everything was great!
We attempted to eat here for my daughters birthday. Even with having a reservation, we waited 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited another 15 without being greeted by waitstaff. We were surrounded by other tables of people waiting to be greeted, as well. They seemed terribly understaffed. We ended up leaving.
Appears very rundown and the sushi wasn’t as good as it used to be,
Food was good. Service was extremely slow. Waited 30 mins past reservation time to be seated and an hour past that to eat!
My husband and I ended leaving and not even eating here. We visited Wasabi earlier this year with a group of about 7 or 8 people. This was in the winter on a week night and it was fairly busy. We enjoyed our chef and the food was pretty good. This past Sunday my husband and I wanted hibachi and decided we would go to Wasabi. On the way I made a reservation thinking that on a Sunday afternoon/early evening the place would be busy. Not at all. There were a few parties in the dining room and then one full hibachi table. The hostess seemed a bit annoyed that we wanted to sit at the grill because it seemed that a new table/grill would need to be started because the one grill was full. She sat us at a grill that was not clean, it looked gritty and grimy and we were pretty grossed out. So with that we left because we could not get past the rude hostess/waitress and the dirty grill that she sat us at.
Great food and service. But the restaurant is dingy and empty.
Understaffed tonight. Chef was entertaining. Dinner took 2 hours. Food that was cooked in back, due to allergies, came out way before the hibachi chef even started cooking, so we didn't eat together.
Managed very poorly and service seems to always be a problem. Servers are yelling for each other across the dining area. As people left, the plates were just left at the tables and never cleaned up. I gave them another chance but will not go back.
It’s very clearing by not sitting at hibachi table you will receive poor service and attention. It’s happened twice in a month for us.
Food was very good but was not hot. Server seemed preoccupied and did not check back a lot. Have bee to another wasabi that was much better than this one. Might come back one more try.
It was an good find in an unknown town. The food was delicious and miso soup was just excellent!
Sad really. Food was actually very good but that place needs a makeover. Dirty, old, nasty and service slow
We really wanted to enjoy our experience here. Unfortunately, the service was indifferent at best, the food was not all that great, and the floor was sticky. There are better hibachi experiences in the area.
