Chose this for an anniversary dinner, glad we did. The food and service were excellent! We started with several appetizers. One was a special of the day (spicy edamame), vegetable tempura and grilled squid - all fantastic. For the meal my wife ordered the signature baked scallop special and added a miso soup. I ordered the hamachi wasabi carpaccio. I enjoyed the scallop special but loved the carpaccio! I will definitely return on our next trip to Oahu and highly recommend!

The black cod was sooooo good but everything we ate was great! We ordered the sake sampler and it was neat truly seeing the difference in taste between your 3 samples. We got the miso soup, spicy bigeye tuna, miso eggplant and pork gyoza as well. If I lived here I’d come back again and again!

We had a great dining experience at Wasabi. Everything was fresh, authentic and very delicious. The hamachi wasabi carpaccio is a must try. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the service was excellent. We would definitely come back and recommend it to our friends.

Thank you. We have been coming to Wasabi for many years, and have seen quite a change in the past few years, but still enjoy it. My husband was disappointed that the Katsu curry was no longer on the menu, as that is one of his favourites.

What a little gem, hidden in a small hotel. A friend told me about it, and I’m so thankful. The food is very fresh and well made. Everything tasted wonderful. The service was excellant - our waiter was great at making suggestions when we asked without trying to up sell or pressure you. Will definitely go back before we return home.

What a wonderful hidden gem with affordable, high quality fish. Service was friendly and very fast and this is a great place for no frills sushi and Japanese food. I hope I have a chance to return one more time before the end of my trip!

One of the best Japanese restaurants we’ve ever been to! It’s very authentic, tucked away in the back of an older hotel, but nonetheless every table was booked. I can see why. The pork gyoza was the best ever, sashimi was absolutely fresh, the rolls weee delicious. Amazing rice. We’ll definitely go back.

Incredible authentic Japanese dining with a little bit of fusion for excitement. Freshest fish I’ve had since I can remember. The sushi preparation is simple and traditional, but executed to perfection, with great care for presentation. The other dishes we had were also just perfect, too. The staff is incredibly attentive, and focused on your experience. And the courtyard location is quaint and quiet.

This is a hidden gym. Tucked away in a hotel area. The food is excellent. They have fresh sushi as well as traditional Japanese food. There is a good variety for everyone. The service was top notch as well. No complaints. We will going back the next time we are in town.
