We showed up for our reservation and no one would help us and there was no host available. I let the bartender know we were there and still no one helped us. We waited for over 15 minutes before we left and went somewhere else. Additionally, there were WAY too many people in the restaurant that did not comply with Covid social distancing expectations. Too many people and not spaced at all. We were very uncomfortable at the lack of care and the carelessness. We will not go back to this place. Very disappointing on all fronts.
It’s listed as, and signage on the door says, that it’s a restaurant & bar. ITS A BAR. very limited food. We had a burger and tuna sandwich. The meat and both kinds of fries were good, but the buns were SO SAD. Actually COLD and rigid like they had just come out of the freezer although they showed a little attempt at toasting around the edges. I will not return to eat there, but the bar looks cool & probably fun during normal times.
It is not a place to grab dinner. It's a bar, with a loud DJ, that happens to sell food.
It is not good food.
It is over priced.
It is unusual to spend $15 on a chicken sandwhich to be served on a paper plate.
The service is non existent.
It took so long to get our servers attention, my brother just had to track her down, handed her about $250 and said to keep the change. Because we would rather over pay than wait any longer on her.
Great, fast service! Thank you!!
As a couple of 65’s and older, I went on Open Table for a reservation, believing from the pictures that it was for dining! We had no idea the area was for young adults and most of the eating establishments were for that age! However, we did order 2 Vodka Martinis and Kiki made them perfectly!👍The small plates were delicious, but we were expecting to have Dinner. So this was an adventure that now we know, this area is for the College age appetites! Good for them!! All in all, I was embarrassed that I thought I had to make a reservation, when people just walked in and sat where they wanted! Not for over 40!
I wish I could rate the Warehouse but unfortunately we did not dine there as planned. I made reservations for my nieces 16th birthday a week in advance. When we arrived the menu was everything but their typical menu. I picked this place for the noodles because my niece loves that. Unfortunately they weren’t able to get their normal foods in, I’m certain it’s due to COVID. Either way I was not contacted prior to our reservations to notify me of this. I did receive a text from them to confirm my reservation the day before. So we showed up, found out there was no normal menu, just what they were able to throw together from a local store I’m sure. We had to scramble to pick another restaurant on a Friday night downtown at 7:30 all while a DJ was blaring music. If the music is always like that, I definitely would not return anyhow.
Fantastic meal! Highly recommend.
While the food and atmosphere were great, our server/bartender seemed to forget about us a lot and at one point we actually had to wave our hands over our head to get his attention to ask for a glass of wine. The place was not busy at all so I am not sure why he was not able to see when our glasses were empty. He also brought me the wrong soup bowl order but quickly fixed that.
Charming waitress, handled a large crowd of friends very well. Also her duties as our bartender. She made us all feel comfortable and we had such a good time with wonderful food in a BAR!
The food and service was beyond terrible for all five people with us. There were only three tables in the restaurant and the service was terrible. Even the Bloody Mary was bad. It was also very expensive for the lack of quality. Cute place, but I will ever go back.
Great quick bite place or a Happy hour hangout with friends or co-workers.
Caught them on a down day for brunch - no biscuits . The manager came out and personally apologized for this - his words were sincere and heartfelt. Oyster Caesar, lemon poppy pancakes, ramen were all hits.
The experience was truly overcast by the server whom I would describe as snarky to lackadaisical. Some members of my party asked for iced tea and that was unavailable. I expressed that I found this surprising to which the server responded “... this is a bar first... so we don’t serve iced tea.” I found that to be an odd and of putting reply, and we almost left, but remained due to being famished.
Cocktails ran dry with no offer to refresh them (we were one of only three occupied tables at that time. Result? We imbibed less, and as soon as we ate our fill we left, whereas normally we’d have remained fir more fellowship. We chatted w another party that found the service lacking as well, and led to their rapid egress as well.
I’ve been to the warehouse before for noshing at the bar in the past, and I’ve had a grand time. This time at a table... this is yet another testimonial to the Achilles’ heel of Charleston food scene.
Our many choices are an embarrassment of riches, however due to inability to hire and keep devoted and loyal staff-in this case servers, the disconnect between the kitchen and the customer was detrimental to our brunch.
Food was terrific. Clientele gets a bit loud and rowdy, even at 8:30. Took a bit to get food because they were busy. Server apologized and remove starter from our bill. Could not have been nicer. Chicken fingers are fantastic!
Great food here! It just gets louder as it get late. There were several large parties happening when we went and the drunk girls playing foose ball would scream about everything. It was 8:30pm-ish. But that’s the warehouse sometimes loud but always good food and service !
It was a great first experience!
Food and service were great.
Food, folks and fun....this is a new favorite for us!!
Great neighborhood bar Fun place to eat, drink, watch football, etc. in a very comfortable setting. The staff made everyone welcome. The food/drink offerings are not massively extensive but there is a good diversity of offerings (food/ cocktails/beer).
The Warehouse was literally across the street from our rental and we used it as our base of operations while in Charleston. We would definite be back of in Charleston again.
Very nice atmosphere. Food was very good as was service. I really enjoyed the bar atmosphere and would return again for drinks for sure. While we enjoyed our meal I am not sure I would say it was in the top choices. It was good but not great. Not very flavorful. My kids had sandwiches which they really enjoy. I had a soup.
Good for drinks, although service was inattentive and slow. Ramen was just ok.
We went when they were in between menus and half of their selection was not available. A server called out sick and our server was very flustered and didn’t have enough support. I would go to warehouse for drinks not for dinner
Food was not perfectly authentic to someone that’s spent a decade in Japan and truly leaned more towards a fusion hipster vibe but was tasty nonetheless, too much in a portion for a child and not quite enough for a fairly hungry adult. Atmosphere was very informal and created a familiar environment quickly. Has a nice level pool table and foosball table that were free to play on while we waited for our food. Nice overall area, open free flowing and a consistent clean sheet minimalist, industrial look that was a great stop for some hot soup on a dreary rainy Sunday. Staff was good and having a decanter of iced water in an old liquor bottle at the barrel we had as our table added a charming feel that completed the night. Recommended it to several friends and I might go back again to try a Friday night vs the Sunday afternoon dive.
Love the mini chicken sandwiches and can’t go wrong with the noodle bowl. I do wish there were more noodles compared to how much broth you get.
Great space fun vibe waited a while for our reservation so that was a little annoying. Drinks were very good food was delicious except the chopped salad which was not chopped at all... while carrots, while
Lettuce leaves ...lol. Service a little slow on the drink refills but overall was good experience. Will return in the future.
Service was outstanding. Great location. Would definitely go again when I am back in town.
Service, quality, and ambiance was awesome. Bartender/waiter very knowledgeable of menu items, drinks, etc. great recommendations and great service.
The deviled eggs with fried oysters were incredible. I promise. You must try them.
Excellent food and service!
Went for the Sunday brunch. Nice atmosphere, off the beaten path, so not too crowded. Food was unique and delicious. Would go back and recommend to friends.
