In December 2015, descendants of the family that own and operate Waredaca Farm came together to open Waredaca Brewing Company — Montgomery County, Maryland's first farm brewery. Waredaca Farm started as a summer camp for boys and girls, from which we got our name WAshington REcreational DAy CAmp, and over the years transitioned to become one of the area’s best equestrian barn and working horse farm. Our Tap Room was built in Camp Waredaca’s dining hall and we used reclaimed barn wood to craft our bar and tables. Each beer is made on-site and named after the family, the stories and the horses of Camp Waredaca. Beyond the history, Waredaca Brewing Company is committed to sustainability, local ingredients and the best brewery processes as environmental stewards of protected agricultural land. We have created a brewery that functions in harmony with life on our Farm. Cheers!

Enter Waredaca Brewing Company through the brewery gate. Our host will greet you at the end of the driveway. There are three gravel/grass lots. Handicapped parking is found in front of the Tap Room. Parking attendants will assist on busy days. To exit, follow the driveway and exit through the farm gate.

Cold afternoon but the staff was very nice to start the fire right where we were sitting. Nice place and atmosphere. Will be back!

So nice to have an outdoor option for socializing during this crazy time. Service was quick. Appreciated the fire pits!

They do a very nice Job at Waredaca. Safe and fun space for hanging out for beers and a nice conversation.

Great spot on a horse farm. Beers with horses, what could be better? They had heaters set up and a few fire pits going. Plenty of beer selection and some snacks available on the day we went.

It is a very nice place for the entire family. Young and matured adults alike can enjoy open spaces and fresh air in the back yard of a horse farm, Waredaca. From afar, you can enjoy horses in their herds meandering in the fields. The outdoor area is winter ready and covid friendly. The Yurt is definitely something worth trying! The indoor bar is wonderfully quaint. Good for a small meeting with friends and family when a pandemic isn't a problem. There are games always available for the young mind by the coffee table. Outdoors kids have some climbing tires, open space, and their imagination to run wild. Beer tastes great and has many interesting twists on beer flavors. Small tapas available in the bar, but most food is provided by coveted food trucks! They also have a feature now with Pony Express where you can grab your beer on the go! It's all on their website.

With cold weather upon us it was definitely time to throw fashion out the window and rather dress warmly with many layers including hats and gloves. The beer selection was excellent and served ice cold, the service prompt and friendly and being able to gather around the well stocked fire pit with our group made the evening a fun and festive event enjoyed by our party of six. We had fun and the other groups present seemed to also be enjoying themselves. All in all a great time!

Great set up for social distancing! Also, a great place to go on a chilly day with fires and heaters set up everywhere.
