   Tasty, well cooked, plentiful Sunday Roast. Delicious pork with a good selection of veg.... and fabulous Yorkshire pudding. Nice selection of beers, all served by friendly staff in the loveliest room in Leeds city centre.

   Great little bar/restaurant. Open from breakfast till late. Tucked behind some hoardings at the moment. Well worth the visit to an independent bar like this.

   The tables were filthy. I asked the waitress if she could clean it and she wiped one corner of it, I asked if she could clean the rest of it and she wiped another corner. I had to eat in a sticky messy table. They had no tonic water either. The gammon was way too salty.

   I booked a table online but need not have bothered as when we arrived and I told them of my reservation, the staff behind the bar suggested we sit where we want, didn't ask for my name or acknowledge a reservation. Menus were on the table and the only interaction we had was to be told to order at the bar. We ordered the yorkshire breakfast and the breakfast hash as well as a couple of juices and a coffee. The bacon on the yorkshire breakfast was undercooked and the poached eggs were overcooked and rubbery. The breakfast hash was pleasant enough but very sweet with overpowering caramelized onions which made it difficult to eat. No one asked if about our food whilst dining. We ordered a second coffee at the bar after eating most of the breakfast, and then I paid up and left, with the dirty dishes still on the table. There were plenty of staff behind the bar, and not many covers in. Overall and average experience, one that I will not be repeating in the future.

   We were looking for somewhere traditional and dog friendly that did vegan and regular food. After reading reviews we thought this place sounded good. The staff were friendly but the actual place was shabby and needed some TLC and a good clean. The Yorkshire pudding burgers were ok but nothing special. We ordered a smashed avocado with poached egg it was very disappointing, there was a pile of rocket leaves on top of a piece of toast then the avocado had hard pieces of what looked like a stalk in it, the only thing that was really edible was the egg.
