   It’s a long way off where it used to be for food but it’s still a classic pub that’s worth a visit.

   Our first visit back since renovations completed. Very disappointed with the menu. Some of our dishes were OK a couple inedible. The kids ice cream desert when served was totally melted, staff apologised but the dish was not replaced , very disappointed. We cut our visit short

   We turned up at 1p.m as per our booking only to find the hotel closed and the furniture outside under the verandah due to a major renovation

   Travelled 4 1/2 hours to find a pub that is not even open or operating!!! Appalling that new owners have neglected to take the pub off open table and still have an active website with no information on closure and renovations. Highly doubt they will be about to replicate what was once a brilliant venue if they can’t even get bookings right.

   The Wandi Pub is an institution! Food is always exceptional and the staff and super friendly! We visit without fail every time we’re in Bright which is normally 3-4 times a year! I hope the new owners don’t change it too much, it’s perfect the way it is.

    Portions are huge and the food very good. Caters for a wide variety of tastes. Well worth a visit - for a cold drink and a meal.
