   One of my favorite places for brunch, just excellent. Beautiful and relaxing, ambient setting allows for conversation and relaxed dining. Simultaneously elegant and comfortable. Highly recommend!

   It was an amazing experience. The interior of the castle is breathtaking. Loved the food. I was particular impressed with the salad. Delicious. Loved the history behind this historical building.

   We had a wonderful experience at the wandering vine, celebrating a family birthday. They made it so special and the food was so wonderful, every single dish we all tasted and loved. The presentation of the wine slides is also super special and just a neat experience.Such a great treasure and really unique historical location. I highly recommend this for a special occasion or just for a very wonderful dining experience. Support local!

   We were a party of three, and in a thoroughly nice time at the wandering Vine Saturday night. It would be hard to find a place in Kansas City metro that was superior to this restaurant. Try it, you’ll love it.

   I had the lamb and my guest had the glazed pork chop. Both were excellent and cooked just right. My only criticism are the prices, which I feel are very high.

    I had the privilege of working on the castle before Carla and Dan opened. They are wonderful people. Our first visit was very nice . Food was a delight! Very good sevice and the castle is amazing. Looking forward to upcoming events. Thank you Carla and Dan for everything. Staff and so on. Was a very nice experience!

    I took my best friend to treat her for her birthday. It was such a delightful, lovely, and exquisite experience. Personably yet private. Everyone should experience at least once. The owner came by as we were close to leaving and ended the evening with such a neat walk through history. It was wondeful.

    Best food I have had in KC in a long time. The fresh bread service was amazing and the tomato goat cheese soup was life changing! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and the food. Will definitely be a regular. Highly recommend the homemade Pot Pie and Short Rib.

    First time here & my friend & I felt welcomed from the start. We enjoyed delicious food (Mushroom & Brie Cheese Crostada to start; Castle 12-hour Bolognese for my friend; Chicken Pot Pie for me; & Blood Orange Upside-Down Cake for dessert). It has a sophisticated ambience (with dramatic vaulted ceiling), outstanding service, & wonderful live music to accompany the meal. I will definitely return for outside dining when the weather’s warmer.

    Simply amazing! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a “happy anniversary” vase of red roses. Our server was so welcoming and knowledgeable of the extensive wine list. The owner was available and even came out to chat. Absolutely the best bolognese and lamb dishes in town. This was our first visit but will not be our last.

    We had a lovely time at Wandering Vine! W my sister and I came in for Sunday brunch. They were very accommodating as I brought my one year old in. My sister and I enjoyed mimosas, a shared cinnamon roll and mushroom toast/southwestern style eggs Benedict. We enjoyed the historic building and the helpful staff. It is a family-run business which we loved as we love to support local. We'll be back!
