Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad.
What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.
With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come.

We decide to be daring and just pick a restaurant we’ve never heard of and drive an hour to get there. This is one of those restaurants where you could say looks are very deceiving. The restaurant is located inside of another building so you do have to look for it. We cannot say enough about the food! We ordered the tuna tower as an appetizer which was out of this world good. My boyfriend had the duck he said it was the best he’s ever had and he orders it in a lot of high-end restaurants. I stepped out of my box and ordered the filet mignon (i’m usually a seafood person). I like it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. The presentation of our dinners was very nice. For dessert we went with a special they had which was a pineapple flambéed with coconut ice cream and candied lime and a sprinkle of Keylime pie crust over it. It was so good! The chefs daughter was the sweetest waitress we’ve ever had she was very helpful in helping us choose our entrées the chefs wife came over and checked on us and introduced herself which I thought was a very nice touch. It really made you feel like you welcomed and your business was appreciated. The portions were of average size which was more than enough for us. Pricewise we felt everything was priced appropriately for the quality of the food. I feel like this is a hidden gem that we will be sure to visit again.

Wanda took over for a tapas restaurant that closed during Covid but they learned from the previous owners what people in Haddonfield liked. This restaurant is fantastic. I started with the tuna stack and and then had the duck. The preparation was spot on and the service incredible. The owner and staff were really nice. They clearly are trying to know their audience and asked questions which I think is a good idea. We will certainly be going back.
Service was excellent. Our party of 4 ordered appetizers (goat cheese croquettes, caesar salad, Brussels, oyster special) followed by Chilean sea bass, lobster cannelloni, filet mignon, and braised pork cheek (special) dinners, and ended the meal with desserts. Everything we ate was prepared and flavored perfectly, presented beautifully, and enjoyed. Highlights were the goat cheese croquettes, the sea bass, and the braised pork special though everything was delicious.
This restaurant was fantastic. All four of us loved our meals. Bear Chilean sea bass I have tasted. Great atmosphere too!

Eat Here! The tuna is wonderful both in quality and in preparation. The I tasted my friends lobster canelloni and it melted in my mouth. The brussel sprout/bacon appetizer, a holdover from the previous restaurant, is flavorful and has plenty of bacony' crunch!
Our server, Ashley, is most knowledgeable, personable and efficient. She is a delight!
Desserts where excellent too! Grilled pineapple with housemade vanilla ice cream and short bread crumbles! Different and really good!!
We were very anxious to try the successor to Denim and they did not disappoint! I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and my husband the Pork Tenderloin and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent and the tables are still spaced out enough that it felt very safe. The owner even stopped over to chat with us. I would say the one thing that could be improved is the bread that was brought over. They were just your average dinner roll. A nice crusty, preferably homemade, bread would have been much nicer. Still, I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!

Our first time at Wanda was wonderful. My sister and I chose this place simply to try something different. The food was delicious- we had the beet salad, B’s salad, shared plate of lobster cannelloni, creme brûlée and the flourless chocolate cake. EVERYONE from the hostess to the Chef, the Chef’s wife was very kind and thanked us for joining them. Never have I been to any restaurant that showed so much appreciation for their customers, that itself goes such a long way! We promise to bring friends along next time!

Wonderful food, excellent service. We tried the tuna tower and the mussels from the appetizer menu. Both wonderful! (I could eat the tuna tower as an entree, truly!)
Dinner selections: hubby’s “must be rare” filet mignonette was perfectly cooked. My sea bass was superb. Served with a wonderful sauce.

We've made Wanda's our regular "go-to" place. This time went for brunch and it was delicious! Chef Anthony makes homemade Boursin cheese and folded it into a mushroom omelet! Yum! He also makes a bacon maple syrup jam. Wow!
We were with another couple, we all enjoyed our meals and enjoyed meeting the owners.
The wait staff was very pleasant and accomodating.

Really pleasantly surprised by the switchover. We had a special caprese app, shared a salad and I had the Chilean sea bass. We had the flourless choc cake for dessert. Everything was very well prepared and well paced. Server was very attentive and thoughtful. Bread was delicious also. We had outside and had a really relaxing, chill evening. The chef came out to check on us, too. Love the new focused menu. Will be back.
Excellent food, I got the creme brûlée French toast and also tried the SALT and goat cheese croquettes, all were delicious. Staff was excellent and super accommodating. Hope this place sticks around!

The food was superb, presented beautifully and staff very friendly. Sat outside and felt very comfortable. We had the duck entree and the veal chop special entree. The owner made sure to visit each table more than once. Don’t miss this delightful restaurant occupying the former Denim location in Haddonfield.

Food wasn't very good. Noticeably absent from the description of the tuna tower on the menu is green roe, which made it virtually inedible for my wife. We both had the lobster cannelloni for our entrée, the cannelloni was chewy & rather hard, and the ricotta was tasteless. Neither one of us got through one of three cannellonis and the waitress was conveniently oblivious to our virtually full plates.

The entrance was a little hard to find,but once inside everything was outstanding. My filet mignon was almost tender enough to cut with a fork. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

I went here when it was Denim BYOB and it was my favorite place to eat dinner. Wanda did not disappoint. The food was excellent and I look forward to dining there again. The only unusual thing, at least as it seemed to me, was that the owner's wife served as the hostess and my "server" only served me dessert as thge owner's wife brought me the appetizer and entree. Service was excellent.

The place was beautiful, staff all friendly and great prices. Only issue, waffle was extremely overcooked/hard. Server replaced waffle but replacement wasn’t much better.
