So you ask why Wanda Byob?

Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad.

What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.

With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come.

                                                                                                                    Food was delicious. We had the Brussels, tuna tower, skate and salmon. The space is a little noisy, but we were seated upstairs which was quieter than the first floor. Service was good, and the manager stopped by and checked in on us during the meal. Overall, delicious experience and would definitely return!

Noah is always an attentive welcoming waiter/server. Always on point with the specials and meeting the tables needs. The no rush attitude and friendly manner make the table feel like family. The fair is always delicious, but even if it weren't a 10, would still come back for the service and ambiance. Thank you M & L

From the appetizer (beet salad), the entree (short rib) and the dessert (bread pudding!) everything was wonderful. First time eating here but it certainly won't be the last! Our server, Noah, was lovely.

The chef makes fish like no other restaurant The combination of ingredients all go together so well simply delicious The apple tart dessert is a must try as well ! Chef and owner stop by table and greet you! One of the best places to dine in NJ. We will be back again soon !
