   Chicken Marsala and sides was delicious as was the cream of broccoli soup Baked Black Forest Alaska had unique cherry gel drizzle which we did not care for Server was amazing & attentive Loved the atmosphere

   They tried hard but we are more used to the Europe model where can you go to dinner and have a nice conversation for an hour+ without being interrupted every 5 to 10 minutes. My duck dish was ok but not great

   Emily was an excellent waitress. We were there Friday March 17th about 6:00 pm. Emily was pleasant, attentive and truly made our dining experience wonderful. The only thing I really did not care for were the iPads. I am all for technology, but in the context of being in a more traditional and old fashioned hotel, it seemed kind of out of place. I think a regular menu would have been more appropriate, but I also get these change daily and are harder to clean between customers. Othewise the food, my Husband had the Tomahawk Chop, and I had the shrimp were excellent!!

   We loved the fact that we could sit and enjoy a nice dinner without all the noise and craziness of a normal Saturday night restaurant in Green Bay. This restaurant was amazing. They offered some delicious entrees that were different from what others offered. We will certainly be back!

   Awesome meal, steaks were perfect, Maryland Crab Cakes were out of this world, best crab cakes in the area and made the way they are supposed to be prepared.

   We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, quality of food and quantity of the food. The service was excellent and professional. I had the mushroom wellington which was outstanding, a real treat! Every item that we tasted had multi levels of flavor. The overall experience was exceptional and we will return! This restaurant is a hidden gem in Green Bay.

    We were a party of 4! We enjoyed the Walnut Room. Beautiful, atmosphere calm/relaxing. Food was great! Our server Laura was super nice, attentive and made great suggestions! Truly enjoyed not being rushed through dinner. We will be back! Thank you!

    Open Table allowed us to book a table at 10:30 but the restaurant closed at 10. Our waitress stayed on the serve us but was super crabby and it was so uncomfortable. It was like she blamed us when it was Open Door fault.

    We were not informed that the usual menu would not be offered on New Year’s Eve until we were seated with our drinks already ordered. The only option was an over priced 5 course meal. We should have left but when you have 2 small children and rarely get a date night we stayed. It would have been ok if the food was not over cooked. The quality of the ingredients was also poor. There was also no coat check offered so my wife’s nice coat had to dangle off the back of her chair onto the floor. I have been to the walnut room before but it’s been a few years. Maybe they should change their name to the Walmart room.

    Friday, December 30, 2022 is when I went to the Walnut Room for the 5th time in my life. The first 4 times the experience was great when it came to service, quality of food and ambience. The fifth time last Friday was a disaster mainly because our server was atrocious. My companion has dietary restrictions which in the past were accommodated terrifically. This time around not so much. Our server, a younger blonde haired woman who appeared to be new, seemed to be put out by our dietary needs and was not very helpful in terms of talking to the kitchen. She really appeared like she really did not want to be there. When we finished a round of drinks we waited and waited for her to come around but she never did. We sat there for about 15 minutes until I got up and asked another server if we could get a round of drinks. She got use a round. It was really disappointing because our previous experience there was always great. We will not be going back. Our reservations were for 8:15 on Friday the 30th of Dec 0f 2022. I mention this in case the manager wants to reach out and perhaps explain why the service in particular was so bad?

    The quality of the food and service on our latest visit to the Walnut Room was exceptional. We had not been there for a while, disappointed in our last dinner there. However, this tim the food was excellent, and the service matched it. In our experience, this is the best restaurant in the Green Bay area for fine dining.

    When reviewing the website it looked very nice and like it would have an elevated experience. Was greeted and then seated, Instead of a menu we got tablets which while I get the idea from a business standpoint, it really takes away from the experience and interactions with staff and from each other. There were no speciality cocktails, no menu features, nothing that really made us feel excited to eat. No real environment. When we arrived there were two other tables, and for the duration of our stay only 2 more walked in. Even though we arrived on time for our reservations, by the time we got our entrees we had spend 1:35 minutes there, and had other plans for 2 hours after our reservation, so we asked for the check and most of our food boxed. While there was nothing incredibly bad about our experience, it was no where near the level I was expecting from looking at the venue or their website.

    Everything was great! Nicole was our server and she made our evening very special and our conversation with her was great. We were told off a recommendation to come here a few months back and I’m sad we waited! Goat cheese croquettes Crab cake House made Gouda biscuits Filet and Strip Brussel sprouts Gouda Au Gratins Garlic green beans Pumpkin cheesecake All very delicious, well presented and 10/10 experience! Special anniversary brownie/cupcakes

    This spot is a gem. An old friend and I dined on a weeknight and the Walnut Room was virtually empty. The wine list was good. Appetizers (crab cakes and goat cheese croquettes) were exceptional. I had the New York strip and my friend had the duck confit. The duck was outstanding. The New York strip was pretty normal - nothing special and not terribly flavorful. But the sides with the steak were delicious. Sweet Chili Lime Brussels made me wish there were more. And the Smoked Gouda Potato Gratin was unique in a wonderful way. We had so much food that we skipped desert. Service was engaging, but not intrusive. The whole place felt welcoming and truly special. All of this is set in a renovated hotel that calls back days of grand old hotels that valued excellent service and elegant surroundings. The Walnut Room is truly a special place!

    Love the Walnut Room! Such a beautiful facility with great ambiance. Service was perfection. Our only negative was that the bone-in rib eyes didn’t look anything like the picture on the menu. They were good, but not quite what we were hoping for. Not a game changer, we’ll definitely be back!

    We always enjoy the Walnut Room! When they see that we’re coming in they make a special meal for me and my husband (vegan) and it’s always wonderful! Service is also attentive and friendly.
